I have been going to Docklands store a few times to be able to baseline my review as I don't want review this store based on a one-off bad experience. My review is based on 5 visits during second half of 2023. Note: I'm a google local guide and all my reviews are based on good faith, I have no gains in any forms from making this review. 1. On one occasion, I brought about 12 items to the check out counter, the check out staff forgot to give me one of the items I paid for. 2. On a different occurrence, I wanted to test out the online order pick up process, so I placed an online order to pick up at this store. No issues with the online ordering process but the pick up was not what I expected. So here how it went. There was a dedicated counter to the right of the check out area, so I went and queue up at that dedicated pick up counter, the staff with a name started with a letter 'K' did not have an awareness that someone was queuing at the pick up counter, so she continued to serve other customers in the in-store queue to the left of me eventhough they came after me. So, I waited to see if she would notice me, until there was no one else left in the normal queue to serve, she still hadn't notice me as she kept chatting with her other colleague! So I shouted 'excuse me, online order pick up'. When she came over, I said 'I have been waiting here and no one is serving', she didn't reply nor she would not make an eye contact. I showed her the barcode to pick up my order, her facial expression was lifeless (no smile and looked as if sh3 was agitated), not a 'Sorry' nor a single word in reply to my comment about on one was serving me. She handed me my order. I said Thank You, she didn't utter a word. 3. On another occasion, lucky me again! I grabbed an item and went to the check out counter and there she was, the very same staff with a name started with a letter 'K'. I was hopeful this time that she may have had a better day. She greeted me saying 'Hi, How are you?' but no eye contact again, she kept looking down the whole time. Her facial expression is the same as last time. I replied 'Good, How are you?', but no response from her as she kept looking down. I observed her face the whole time, I saw her briefly looked at my face for 2 seconds, her facial expression was bizarre, I didn't me feel like a customer. As I was leaving the check out counter, she turned around to her colleague and they were chatting and smilling at each other. WOW, what a difference in treating the customers. 4. Of all my 5 visits, the security guard could be uptight, may be they had to be like that. BUT do they really have to be like that? I understand they are sub contractors but if the Chemist Warehouse Management are reading this, your customers are generally good people, they are not shoplifters!. Having rude, uptight and unfriendly security guards in the front of the door DOES NOT PREVENT shop lifting, IF A SHOPLIFTER WANTED TO SHOPLIFT, THEY WILL SHOPLIFT REGARDLESS. 5. Other occasions, I observed was okay, many of the staff spoke to each other in a foreign language (I believe is Thai). Not sure if they are talking about you!!! Overall: 1 Star Key takeaways: 1. If you are unlucky, you will be served by an unhappy staff (watch out for 'K'!!!). I am not sure what their problems are. Low pay? Not happy with her job? Troubles at home? But there is no need to pass this on to the customers though especially a customer facing role like a check out staff. 2. The whole ambient of the store feel stressful, being watched by the security guard all the time, bad service at the check out counter, I felt there was a big gap in how staff connect to customers. Going at this rate, you could have put all the products in vending machines, no staff required, it wouldn't make any difference. 3. You go there to get the things you need, grab it, pay for it and leave. THAT'S IT. DON'T EXPECT ANYTHING ELSE.

Today, I had a nightmare experience. I went to Chemist Warehouse to buy hair spray. As a newcomer to Australia, I'm not familiar with cosmetic brands here, so I took my time looking for the right product. Suddenly, an Asian young girl who worked at the store started following me, pretending to be busy but actually just staring at me. Her suspicious behavior made me feel like I was being treated as a criminal, which shocked me because I've never experienced anything like this before. The store staff treated me as if I was about to steal something, and it was extremely offensive. I managed to get the hair spray I needed but left the store with a horrible feeling. I came to buy a product and should have been treated with respect, not suspicion. While I understand that the store may have theft concerns, there are better ways to address security without making customers feel unwelcome. I believe in providing good customer service and treating everyone with respect. If they cannot offer a positive shopping experience, they should reconsider their approach or make necessary changes. It's essential to support businesses that prioritize their customers' comfort and satisfaction. Let's hope that better brands with a customer-focused approach come to the market and set a higher standard in the industry. Horrible Horrible!!!!!

Very disappointed with my recent purchase from this Chemist Warehouse. I bought a Jimmy Choo 5 Piece Mini Set for $65. Since I trust Chemist Warehouse (shop at other CW frequently) I didn't keep the receipt, and when I opened the packaging after a a couple of days, I found that each of the 5 mini bottles had some liquid in them but no fragrance. It was a fake perfume set. I literally paid $65 for mini bottles with liquid and no fragrance. As I didn't have receipt, I couldn't return it. Beware of fake perfumes from this store!

Good to see this store in Docklands with ethical and professional staff members. Witnessed an unreasonable lady who tried to ask for refunds for some vitamins as she 'accidentally' bought too much and argued with the staff member. I'm happy to see that the staff explained nicely to her and did not authorise the refund for those vitamins. Otherwise I will not be comfortable and confident to shop for vitamins at this store!

Very helpful and patient staff! Witnessed a Karen being rude to one of the staff today, she was asking for a product that was not on the shelf, the young man working explained in a very nice and polite manner that it was discontinued, her response was very impatient, she raised her voice and was being smart and sarcastic. Absolutely disgusting how she was talking down to him.

Very RUDE security, easily accusing customers of stealing in a very RUDE manner. DID NOT apologise whatsoever after customer is proven to not have stolen anything. VERY VERY RUDE!
