Chhatrashal stadium is a sport stadium in north delhi in model town ll. Too many student comes here for their training. likes stadium have many coaches of different games like athlete,wrestling,football,basketball kabaddi. One more thing why stadium is famous is that many of wrestlers like Yogeshwar datt, Sushil kumar , Bajrang punia ,Ravi kumar all belongs to this stadium had training and practice at this stadium. These all players performed in Olympics, common wealth, asian games, world championships. The stadium is named on the name of maharaja chhatrashal. You can figure it out on entry gate of stadium ️. When you will go for entry there is an i card required. Student of this stadium have to make a i card and have to renewed that i card after expiration period. For school students there is no charge to make i card. Just they have to make a noc from their PT teacher of their school. And for college students there is a charge of around rs 100. After that you will get entry. There is one running track, one football track. And have a capacity over 16000 persons at one time. Stadium is directed by dronacharya awardee shri mahabali satpal.this stadium has 13 entry gate gates but main gate is at model town ll . There is a bus stop in front of this stadium which help to reduce time to trace stadium. Two metro station model town and azad pur are the nearest metro stations. But if you come with metro . After coming out from metro. It will consume time to reach stadium or either you have to take rick shaws. You can join stadium any time by morning or evening according to your course and coach availability . Stadium colses on sunday. And rest 6 days of week it opens. At the end nice place to train yourself for your nation

Awesome stadium.... The Chhatrasal Stadium is a sports stadium in north Delhi. The stadium is famous for its wrestlers, such as Yogeshwar Dutt and Sushil Kumar who have won medals at Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and numerous world championships. The stadium hosts other sports such as athletics, basketball, archery, football, and kabbaddi. History The stadium is named after Maharaja Chhatrasal whose figure is mounted with black marble near the entry gate. The original stadium was built in early 1980. During the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games it was renovated to new and advanced track.The stadium is directed by Dronacharya awardee, Mahabali Satpal. The stadium has an approximate capacity of 16,000. Location Chhatrasal Stadium is located within walking distance from Model Town Metro Station and Azad Pur Metro Station. There are 13 entry gates. The stadium is often closed on Sundays while training for various disciplines takes place in morning and evening times.

Nice stadium ... Look wise... And their service is very good... I go their with my friends and a school teacher and we eat their and had done lots of fun ... At that time we saw the match .. I don't remember the team names... But nice match ...everybody looking so small in the stadium ...nice day and those memories were really nice.. I like that....

Very very biv stadium and awsome stadium tracks are well maintained and seats are comfortable. About 1500 people can easily sit here, view is very very good . It is near model town metro station yellow line . Here is good parking facilities . Food shops are abailable there. Every thing is awsome i love this place

It’s a nice sports ground but the facilities could have been more better. It’s neat and clean. Many music and food festivals are also being organised here. Possibly the most happening stadium in India. Host to majority of food and music festivals in the capital. It's so huge You'll get lost roaming around.

It was pretty good. The track was nice. The maintenance of the track was good too. But I think the sitting arrangement could've been better. And if you're looking to join a stadium for training, (track events and throwing events) the Chhatrasal Stadium is definitely one of the best ones in Delhi.

I am running in this chhatrasal stadium from 6th class match and very good training is given in this and I have always played in main school level and earlier track was old so now new track And now I will play national from here, inshallah if Allah approves. …

All Dirty toilet. Defying swachha bharat programm. Convening big tournament with pathetic restroom. Nighter cleaning staff nor senitory supervisor inspection or administrative staff look after the matter. Visiting since 4 dec . Condition getting more worst.

This stadium is only for school children of Delhi, college children are not allowed in it. There is free admission in this stadium, it is a government stadium. Children who are from Delhi are admitted here, children from other states are not allowed.

Good stadium with decent parking space, poor hygiene of toilets couldn't stand there. Azadpur metro station is nearby so easily accessible, it has basket ball court separately which hosts match and other selection for state level happen here.

Very dirty washrooms, everywhere paan parak spitting, people are not clean, the place is suprb but maintenance is dam bad, hygiene means they don't know, if we would get the place like stadium we will be having top most care

This is one of the neat clean and well maintained stadiums in Delhi. Officers, coaches here are very good. They do their best for students coming here for sports practice. Situated just on the Metro Station Model Town.

Almost all sports are playing nowadays. Best coaching with best sports persons and well maintained including all the facilities available here for the sports and associates. Such amazing can't describe in few words.

Been there on 2nd October to celebrate Yoga day. Amazing experience. The space. Parking seating. Turf . Everything was perfect. Last time I visited tere at my school athelete meet in 1982. Nostalgic

Ohhh I really enjoyed my 15 days of practice for chief minister rally. Ok ok condition. Decent environment coz of decent greenery. Proper maintenance of field and track. So for this place …
