Will NEVER go there Again!!! Had heard about it being Really good. Was on that side of town remembered & stopped. Bought some pan dulce to take to the coast the next morning.Thinking it would be sooo good!! Yeah NOooo! That day I tasted the concha & it was already hard. Tried the campechana & it wasn’t even crispy!! Needless to say in the morning ALL bread was HARD & NASTY!!! Mind you NOTHING is Priced so you just pay Outrageous Prices….I paid $17.00 for ONLY 6 pieces of bread Winded up just throwing it ALL away! What a waste of $17.00. Wish I could’ve gotten my money back!!

Just paid $6.24 for two chocolate donuts. Ridiculous. Maybe if it was a cute vibey place or something but I didn’t even want to stay long with my daughter due to a person passed out at the other table. $3 for a donut or a concha (concha barely even had topping on it) is way too much for this location. Also the cashier helping me was annoyed at me asking how much the desserts cost, and her attitude even before wad already annoyed. Do not reccomend, will not be back. Donuts I did get, only because I promised my daughter, we’re just average.
Customer service is good. The owner and her employee are friendly. There’s a great variety of pan dulce. We stopped by around Feb. Got to try some of the heart conchas, classic conchas and Danish. The flavor was just right, as was the fluffy dough texture. I brought some back to Waco. I recommend eating them within 1-2 days at most. I reheated some conchas and the texture got very hard (like pumice stone) due to the dough being so airy. Overall, I recommend them for sure. It’s a cute little shop!
Best bakery in the city!! I love her glazed donuts. No one makes them better. Everything else is good, too. I only get my glazed donuts from there. Everywhere else, they fail my expectations. But this bakery never fails. And she delivers to your work or at your home. Just try them, you'll see she's the best.
The place is not too big, but there are a good variety of sweets here. I tried some of the cinnamon roll and a banana nut cupcake and both were delicious. The girl helping us was very polite, helpful, and muy bonita. If I lived on the side of town, I would have a big panza because of this place.
I used to love going here. Had been going for decades. But since they renovated and changed the name the bakery hasn't been the same. The pan dulce doesn't taste the same. And it doesn't last more than a day before it gets jard as a rock. The prices are outrageous. Each piece costs$ 2 and up
Great customer service. Young lady up front kept a smile the whole time we were there. It's a gesture slowly dying out. Love what you do and you never work a day in your life. Thank you for having a great vibe. Praying yall get Blessed with a huge amount of clients. We will be back.
Over charged me. Came out to 20 dollars for sweet bread. Got only nine items and five dollars was cookies. Never again I high do not recommend if you want to be over charged and flies flying over your bread. On top of that the lady was not wear gloves fixing all the sweets.
I stopped because I asked my daughter if she wanted good pan dulce from the bakery her grandpa would buy us goodies when we were kids. (That was some time ago) I wasn’t aware that it’s called Chica’s now not Chico’s like back in the day. I
I'm sorry but 31 dollars for 9 donuts and 2 very small kelochis no thank you. And I had to read the reviews after I left that you guys charge a box fee? Like communication and a receipt would be awesome I didn't get any of that. We could
Gnats, Honey bees, and horse flies are all over the inside of this bakery. Some trays of pastries were on the counter not fully covered. Sugar cookies 1.50 a piece **April 2022 UPDATE**Okay so i went back...They have cleaned up the
Now I’m more then sure I’ll get a response from the owner saying how sorry and how prices gone up cuz of blah blah blah, like gas . But the other bakeries don’t have gouging problems. As far as expanding , I don’t see it. To many
If Pan Dulce wasn't good enough as-is, could you even imagine designer Pan Dulce??? Chica has you covered from everyday staples like empanadas to custom blueberry pies to Fab-brew-licious coffee. I love it!
WAY TOO OVERPRICED. Don’t come here unless you want to spend a lot of money for a couple of pieces of bread. I definitely won’t come back. I also don't recommend anyone to come here.
This went to the bakery, got 4 pan dulce and a dozen tamales. She charged me 42.64. When you go with the owner she charges whatever she wants. DON'T EVER GO.
Good customer service Allergy friendly My son has an allergy to milk and they were happy to answer my questions Happy he can have the empanada ❤️thank you
Super friendly, clean, but very dry mini choncha. Cold and extremely greasy barbacoa, and average strawberry cream cheese danish, 18.00. More
Oh my god, so delicious! They even have a little food truck area. The woman who helped us was so kind and patient. Definitely recommend!
Very friendly service when I walked in the door. The young lady helping me was helpful picking what I want. Delicious breads.
I love this bakery! I’ve been going for a while now, as well as my parents. 1. It’s always clean.
