Went on a Sunday early afternoon a while back and the place was packed! No place to walk, chaotic, couldn't tell who was on line and who was waiting, I couldn't even see all the products to decide what I wanted. I got a caramel machiato and apple strudel. They were both very good and delicious but I really wish the apple strudel was warmed; it would have made it perfect. My drink came out pretty fast after I ordered. I loved that it was kinda thick, as if frothy but wasn't. I'll try this place again but will have to figure out a good time to go because in all honestly I know the mask mandate was lifted and I'm fine with people choosing to wear one or not but it being sooo crowded and not a single person wearing a mask or even attempting to respect other people's space felt uncomfortable.

I really love this restaurant. I have been a regular there for many years enjoying their drinks and entrées. The staff is super friendly. The service is quick. The food is great. During the coronavirus pandemic I continued to go there to get take out. The first few times I went there the place was empty and getting take out wasn't a problem because it was just me and the employees there. But then other times when I returned I couldn't stay and get the take out because they don't have a policy that customers must wear masks and social distance while in their restaurant. So I walk in their restaurant to order take out and I see customers waiting in line close to each other no masks. It was like a coronavirus nightmare that I didn't want to enter. So I decided not to order and just leave. I think it would so much better if the workers enforced a mask policy in the restaurant. Then I would feel more comfortable ordering there right now.

Grade A health code. Awesome, decently quick service (comparatively, made to order food obviously takes time to prepare). Plenty of room inside, casual bench and bar seating on walls. Great juices and fresh food. Many pastry and baked goods options. Croissants are five stars, make great sandwiches, salmon and bread . Awesome selection of fresh, grab and go items. Delicious orange juice. Their signature sauce (aioli?) makes anything brighter. Music sits at a nice volume to hear shoulder to shoulder conversation but obscure irrelevant noise, love the exposure to Jewish music. The iced mocha was the best I have had in crown heights. Espresso is rich and full bodied. There was minimal drink separation even as the ice melted. A very skillfully made drink with quality ingredients. I will return to this spot in the future.

I asked for a delivery and the guy that delivered it said he cannot come up to my appartment. I told him I am sick with corrona virus and he said he is leaving it downstairs. I called chocolate and they told me to call the owner to get a refund later. Deliveries are supposed to be to my door Its been a few times that I order online and then they call me to tell me they are out of that food. Their online site is not up-to-date with what they have in stock. 06/27/21 Just placed an order tonight and items were missing from my order. I called them and asked them to send me the items they missed and they said they can only give me a refund. There service in person is pretty good but there delivery service not all that great. As you can see from my previous posts. I have had issues a few times with deliveries

Only cuz your place around for miles that is open 24 hours. Great staff and delicious pastries. You can also get a full breakfast at this location. They have wonderful crafted sandwiches and the Jerusalem bareka wonderful thing to find in the United States. They also have salads and yogurts. All of their Outlets have USB ports so you can sit in charge up your phone while you're there. Great smoothies and ice-cream shakes. They have almond, say, and coconut milk, which should go without saying at a place like this. The pricing is a little bit like what you would expect at an airport coffee place, but it is Kosher, with a great location, and it's open 24 hours, so you get what you're for

Don't get me wrong, I love the spot! The food is great and the service is (mostly) fantastic! The reason I'm giving 1 star is that recently they have hired a new cashier by the name of (I believe) Yishai who is extremely rude and condescending. He has raised his voice to me in the presense of my friends and family multiple times, refused to make my order (despite me being a loyal costomer for almost 5 years) and is just rude in general. When I raised the issue with the owner, he smilingly looked me in the eye and said "thank you". Since then I have stopped coming here and refuse ro return until he is dealt with.

First I will mention the item that is not an issue. The place was overcrowded and my order was messed up and I waited for it for 20 mins. Fine, understood, it was overcrowded. However, one of the workers, with tattoo on his neck, instead of being apologetic was super rude to me. It is not uncommon for this place. Few years ago there was a worker that was humiliating me for no reason whatsoever, even during the times it was not crowded at all. Probably, just due to my accent or speech style, I don't know. I don't see him there for long time already, though.

We were there January 20. At 2:50. My husband asked for a receipt, and Anna said-do u really need it? He said yes. Pocketed it. When we got home we saw we were charged for a brownie we never ordered:( So ask for a receipt and check it!! Also, maybe ppl appreciate it, but the coffee and hot cocoa were so hot we cudnt enjoy it til about 20 minutes later! Frustrating. When I wanted to add milk to cool it off, I was told to wait on line again:(. The store was very packed and there was nowhere to sit and it was cramped but I don't know how they cud fix that.

The food tastes great, but it can get busy sometimes and doesn't seem like the staff are very equipped for it. Update: The area behind the counter for food preparation isn't very clean. I'm hoping they start cleaning it regularly. Additionally I had a 15 minute wait for a smoothie. There definitely needs to be more staff working so things can run smoothly.

Last night I ordered from uber eats two chocolate croissants, one butter, one almond, one hot chocolate and one nutellawach. I didn't get a chocolate croissant and I didn't get the nutellawach either. you yourselves wrote on the receipt that you would return my money. More than 12 hours have passed and I have not received anything. I think is disrespecfull. I don't understand why they just didn't refund it. They basically stole 15 bucks from me

Well well well, here we are reviewing the central coffee shop in Crown Heights. For starters, a lot of foreigners and unique individuals come here to use wifi, I do not want to know what they use it for, but my ears sure heard it all! We've all been there. The coffee is decent, definitely not worth the price. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. I have stumbled upon many smelly people here. I come here, get my coffee, and run! It can get crowded and dirty. Enjoy!

Amazing coffee and pastries. Didn't know what to put down on service though. The staff is wonderful but for some reason they refuse to deviate from their coffee standards. I just wanted a chocolate with 2 shots of espresso but they insisted it has to come with milk which I eventually gave into despite health issues. You have to come to the pastries and the coffee though.

O.M.G., it's a shtickle expensive here. If you need something at any time you can always burn a hole in your pocket here as they are always open 24 hours so keep your wallet at home, otherwise the stuff here tastes great, always fresh and the staff are polite and helpful. They have sandwiches and many other random items which you sometimes wonder what the guy who put them there was thinking , anyways the place is alright

Food was decent, didn’t have much expectations! We had their cheese borrakas and the “pesto pasta” (don’t remember what they call it). If you’re in the area, try them out - great service too! :)

need a spot for using computer for work and have been looking at this place for a long time, pro: free wifi(somehow slow), open long hours. con: high noise like really crazy loud, people are not very respectful to other customers seriously i had some most uncomfortable hours in my life here would consider to come again but maybe not if unnecessary.

After buying every morning for half a year they still can’t remember to heat my croissant, and when they do they then forget to take it out. If I had study math the entire time I’ve spent at the counter, I’d have a PhD long time ago. I would’ve left long ago, but no alternatives with sitting are available in the area.

The only great thing about this store is that they are open the entire night. Besides for my most recent purchase I've regretted everything I purchased. I've gotten tea with an open tea bag. Smoothies that tasted very watered down. Be prepared to spend a lot of money and not be happy if you go here!

Quality drinks, but cup size:cost is high. A small hot chocolate takes small to a whole new definition when you can finish it in two gulps and empties your wallet. Regardless, I believe them being open 24/6 is very convenient and their pastries and drinks are tasty albeit a bit expensive.

The food looks good. I haven't had a chance to try it. I've been twice, but being there isn't enough to have someone behind the counter take my order. It's not the most welcoming place. I see a guy (Levi) eagerly responding to reviews. That energy would be great for people working there.

The drip and iced coffee are decent and the pastries are good. Latte was terrible. Bitter unpleasant espresso with a sloppy dose of over-steamed oat milk. None of the other customers wore masks and neither did the baristas, despite a sign posted by the store requiring masks to be worn.

Service can be slow and they often just place the cup down without saying the order. As you can imagine that can create some confusion when there are many people waiting for their drink. That said, the coffee is good and I'd recommend either a chocolate or almond croissant . …

The coffee is good. The food is decent. The fact it's 24/7 (except for from sun down Friday until sun down Saturday, I think) makes it great. There are NOT enough 24/7 coffee shops in Crown Heights (or shops that are open late in general). The hot chocolate is really good too.

I ordered online and received something completely different. They made me come in to get a replacement, only to give me the wrong thing. When I called up again they wouldn't even refund.

Can't believe I've been sleeping on this place after being only a three minute walk from my apartment! Got a medium iced mocha with oat milk and a chocolate almond croissant. Signed up for their loyalty program and earned my first Choco Star - I'll be back!

They shoot attitude ......&If ur food tastes good ur lucky....they really don't care about what u order or ur hard earned spent money should taste well...

Don’t go to this place if you’re in a hurry. Service is incredibly slow, they are understaffed and it doesn’t even get that busy. I’ve been here a few times on my way to the subway - and every time is the same thing, eat 30min waiting for a simple coffee.

Good kosher coffee shop with delicious hot pastries (reminds me of a Starbucks). I like to pair their hot chai latte with a warm cheese pastry. Slightly expensive. Late hours. Sitting space available with nice view to the lively Lubavitch hub of 770.

Some of the things we got were good, this place has potential needs some improvement though.

Great little coffee spot. This is usually open 24 hours besides on the shabbat. I got the Chai latte, and it was amazing. Not overly sweet and made just right. My only regret was that I got a small, not a large. More

over priced for cold coffe…. Before ordering the rose pasta i checked with the barista if its what the menu states… Sauce with heavy cream etc… It came with pasta crushed tomatoes oil and glob of cheese! Disgusting!

Its worth coming to Crown Heights just for Chocolatte. Best chai latte I've had. B E S T chocolate chip cookies I've ever had in my life. I went back 3 consecutive days for these cookies. Can't recommend enough.

Nice looking place. The pastries are good, but overpriced (the plain croissant is $4 + tax). The espresso drinks are just OK. Kind of bland and weak.

The salmon sandwich is the absolute BEST!!! Is it pricey, sure, yet high quality usually is. Customer service is tops. I will definitely visit again.
