Had State Farm in the US for 7 years, always paid my bills. I moved to Canada, and had a late payment to the US due to changing bank accounts during the move, so State Farm Canada said they couldn't transfer my discounts... I called State Farm US, resolved the issue, and State Farm Canada calls me back and says because of the late payment, and a fender bender in 2009 (one fender bender over 7 years, 2 drivers driving 2 family vehicles!) they could not insure me!! Period. Can't believe I was treated so RUDELY and DISRESPECTED by a corporation I've given thousands of dollars to without a single payout--I even had a 2 million dollar Contractors insurance policy with them without ever having to make a claim. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE. Unfortunately, no more State Farm for me.

I cannot say enough positive things about my dealings with Chris Krasilczuk Dejardins Insurance; especially my own dealings with Samantha Jensen. I was searching for an insurance company as I am moving to Ottawa from Alberta. Samantha's professionalism won me over. As well, she knew we needed to set everything in place in a rather quick manner and boy did she delivered! Always available, even during these COVID times, personal but professional and extremely fast to meet our particular needs. She gave us the peace of mind in the midst of chaos, which moving four provinces over during a pandemic creates. Her responsiveness to our questions and clarification of information truly set the bar high for us. Extremely happy customer !

I've had all of my insurance through Chris Krasilczuk's office since 2007 and while I did leave with most of my insurance at one point due to better rates, I found myself back with State Farm (Desjardins) upon renewal. Chris' office staff have been nothing but pleasant and helpful every time I've needed to reach out to them. I especially love that I can reach out by email and 1)actually get a response, 2) actually make changes to my policies etc. Even if I call, they'll almost always answer and assist immediately and if by chance no one is around, I've never waited more than an hour for a call back. If you're looking for insurance that's "easy to manage...Chris' office/staff will certainly make that happen.

Speaking with the folks here is always a super easy and friendly experience. Have reached out to them via email and phone and have had great response times. I have dealt with Will when I first set up my auto insurance last year and was such a kind fellow for a completely new driver like me to deal with. Samantha, who I've spoken to the majority of the time, has helped me through with tenant insurance for myself, my mother and partner at various points over the 3-4 years. She was also so kind and patient and helping me figure out my renewal and confirming information for my peace of mind. Truly such a great person to speak with.

I've been with Chris K's agency for 11 years. I've dealt with a couple different people over the years, but I've dealt with Shannon most of the time for the past, 9 years maybe? She's always so great to talk to. Always positive, shows empathy, professional and I've always appreciated everything she/they (Chris K's office) have done to work with me! I've never had such great service. Shannon always explains everything so well and is so friendly and patient while doing it. Anyone else I've ever spoken to is also great, but Shannon is a clear winner!

I've been with this company for a number of years and I’ve been impressed with their personal service. Anytime there were changes in my policies an agent (usually Shannon) would take the time to explain what the changes meant with regard to my situation. I confess to being quite skittish when I learned that payments would be made by automatic withdrawal from my bank. However, several month later, I realize that it’s actually simpler for me that way, so my worries were unfounded. Technology isn’t my strong point, but I’m figuring it out.

Used for my car insurance for many years. Recently switched to a new company as the rate was much lower than what I was paying with Desjardins. When I called to cancel days before my next payment they said that even though Im cancelling this payment would still be taken along with a cancelation fee. This felt like a gouge at the end of my years of being a loyal customer and soured the entire experience.
