"Window smashed"
"Positives - I have parked here for everyday for almost 2 years day/night and its seemed to be fine"
"Okay Parking, not enough pay stations they should have more on each floor"
"Arrived at CitiParks, to find a car park, no information was sent to me about my booking, so had to fill out forms in a cold car park, needing information not readily available"
"Had a very negative experience with the ANPR Exit"
Window smashed. No CCTV footage. Unsafe for overnight parking. Had a friend's car window smashed few months back when he left GPS inside. I didn't leave anything (except for child car seat) but yet my car window was also smashed and all compartments opened to check if I left anything in them. The security, I believe, did tape up the window which was broken, but they didn't inform me even though I had a season pass. Though they have CCTV security warning signs everywhere I think the actual CCTVs are only on the ground floor. The customer care confirmed to me that upper levels were operated by council who had disabled the cameras. So if you dont have your own parking and have to park here overnight, its best to park on the ground floor. Also, do check the ceiling as in one place I could see oil leak from ceiling, dripping on the car.
Positives - I have parked here for everyday for almost 2 years day/night and its seemed to be fine. - I could see my car parked all the way from my flat on pioneer point - Motion sensor lit lights across all floors, with good shelter. - wide bays and Guarded at the entrance - Payments via yourparking space was very easy and competitive. Negatives - Had an incident of car bumper hit and run. Unfortunately was not able to track as there are no sufficient cameras. Was really annoyed with this! - not sufficient CCTV. Having CCTV at all level will improve the security and confidence of customers. At the moment it is available only at the entrance and entrance travel-lodge on floor 8. - Not very clean as homeless people tend to take this place as shelter. However, I have not seen them doing any harm,
Okay Parking, not enough pay stations they should have more on each floor. Had an issue where after paying the gate wouldn't open for me, ended us with 4 cars stuck behind me. There was no sign of any assistance, no help/call button, noone at the desk no nothing. So was stuck with a load of angry people waiting behind me. Eventually they all moved backwards so I could go back. I had to park up again to check my ticket at the pay station and it was fine I didn't owe anything. I drove back to the gate and this time it opened without me inserting the ticket somehow. A car park like this needs someone on site for issues like this or perhaps a help or call button that dials into an office where someone can let me out and not cause such disruption.
Arrived at CitiParks, to find a car park, no information was sent to me about my booking, so had to fill out forms in a cold car park, needing information not readily available. After paying for the hire of the vehicle and insurance, I was then told I had to leave over £1000 deposit, I asked if I would get that back, but information wasn't clear on this. There was no paperwork to back this up, just verbal on the phone. This should have been part of the paperwork at the time of booking. I was offered an alternative to pay an additional £45 a day for ins. I informed them I had already paid for ins, but this was a dif type of ins and they said you could 'try' and get a refund. Needless to say, I left without car. Aweful experience.
Had a very negative experience with the ANPR Exit. I DID NOT LEAVE THE CAR PARK but drove to the exit only to realise there was no barrier to pay at. I reversed and went to the payment machine to pay but they had captured me as "already leaving". When contacting the operator, I explained the issue and he told me to leave (I recorded the conversation). I then received a PCN, and the dispute got rejected (even with the evidence). I contacted CitiPark and spoke to the most aggressive lady called Zara who spoke over me and was just plain difficult. Really disappointed with how this case has been handled. I will be picking this up with POPLA
Complicated parking place, I entered to car park, it looks although way exit, then again gone in some how found the place for parking but bays are very small, then I download the app I tried to pay by app there. Is no internet, so I went machine I put registration number I toch the card it was ok but didn't get the receipt, so I was confuse. App is also complicated so I tried prebook it was worked, but still I am confused Waiting for fine may be.. Not going again that carpark
This place especially the stairways always stinks of urine and I have seen a lot worse by the stairs sometimes which I won't go into. Half the time people don't park properly in the designated bays. Hardly anyone with a blue badge parks in the correct bays so my understanding is that only blue badge holders can park in he disabled bays yet most of the time you won't see a blue badge in sight!!
Good place to park your car. I was staying in the Travelodge next door could park on the same level. Stayed a few days and parking was free over night for guests. So I only had to pay £13 in total for 3 days parking which is great. One of the evening a band were playing and some filming was going on in the evening until later. Not what you normally expect in a car park.
Barriers break very often, staff nowhere to be seen, very very creepy at night. Lots of unwanted people lurking around. Lifts/staircases always have urine all over. They need to invest in emergency alarms or break glasses or buzzers or intercoms near every other pillar. Doesn’t feel safe at all. Too many incidents have happed here.
Car park uses number plate recognition sometimes you have to insert your ticket sometimes not. Prices are competitive. It's in an ideal location for the Cineworld cinema. If you get your ticket validated you get a discount. Some spaces are tight but only the same as other multi story car parks. They have security on site.
After 6pm there is only one entrance and exit for walking. I assume that it is for extra security, but it would be nice if there was a sign to tell you that the other exits are closed. The lifts are at the opposite end to the open pedestrian entrance, so that's not very convenient if you have to go up a few floors.
My car window got smashed in and items got stolen here. I wouldn't leave your car here. CitiPark refused to hand over cctv and the police said I didn't have a specific timeframe of when my window got smashed so they didn't even bother with the crime. Fix your cctv and get security
It's very cheap. Please do not use credit/debit cards. They overcharge. I had Cineworld discount and the machine showed 1.20 but they have taken 2.40 from the card payment. I didn't have change. That's why I had to use card. It is still cheap but cheating by overcharging.
If you want a time warp to long since demolished estates in the 1980s this is the place for you. Dank, uncared for stairwells and dodgy corners a plenty (complete with crackheads setting up home there), and loads of missing signage meaning
Not a bad car park. I parked here for a few hours on a Saturday night and felt safe returning to my car. I'm pretty sure there was a security guard in a little office. I'd definitely park here again. I didn't see any anti social behaviour.
Bunch of scammers. Fault at the paying machine, spoke to operator via machine. I was let go. Few days later I received a ticket, quickly checked notes on my phone and challenged them back. Do business but with some ETHICS and VALUES!!!
I pay a season ticket and sometimes the barriers will fail on you. Haven got through to the control room I was told my registration plate was no registered even though I still had an invoice paid that month?? Ridiculously bad service
Great car park, charges are very reasonable and the site seemed clean and well kept. It gives great access to the shopping centre and is reasonably close to the station. Only lost a star as the actual parking spaces are super slim.
its hard to find cheap parking in Ilford Exchange area. CitiPark is a convenient place to park, very near to Ilford Shopping Mall and Station. Easy to mange app, parking can be pre-booked and payment can be made through app.
Don't park here!, you will get fined, the online system doesn't work and have to use the one machine in the car park which doesn't work properly, save yourself a parking ticket and park elsewhere
Parking prices were fairly reasonable compared to some boroughs. Handy if you want to shop in the shopping centre or locally as parking is a nightmare everywhere in London as any driver knows!
Unable to pay for parking as the machine didn't work, the app didn't work and I was unable to call them to pay over the phone as the line was busy. Looks like I'm getting a ticket. Terrible.
tons of spaces, fairly cheap as well. Only issue I had was having paid through the app, the barriers wouldnt open and I had to call through the intercom system to be let out.
If u prebook the parking space, u cannot choose half past hours. Time slots are available only for hours. So someone has to replan the journey just for the parking space
Got a ticket when paid for the parking at the machine and have a receipt. Joke parking. Won't be paying ofcourse. July 2023. My advice, pay by card, keep receipts etc.
Worst place to ever park. Only one working pay station, the narrowest entry and exit points, if you’re driving anything else besides a hatchback do not park here!
Quite afforadable parking in the busy town of Ilford. Its right close to all amenities. Close to ilford lane, ilford high street and many other restaurants.
Easy to find. Easy to use. Not too expensive considering location. Feels safe. Parking a big car could be a bit tight as they have a lot of pillars inside
Absolutely not recommend. Not safe at all. My brother had his car stolen last week, and one other person also faced the same in the last couple of days.
I found the bay is a bit small for average car to park and have to be careful not to wreck other car parked next to you when opening the door.
dated building and lacks security.attraction for car thieves N opportunists looking to steal from cars.needs good lighting during dark
Machines constantly not working App is useless with a low score. Tried phoning for assistance but on hold for over 30 minutes so far!
Its easy to find and park pay via an app which is simple to use. Just didn't feel comfortable using it late at night
Excellent parking station with fantastic prices. We used it many times in our stay in Ilford and would use it again!
Rates are good, be careful if you bring a big car. For small hatch no problem.
If you use the clement road to get in the car park eand up 65 pound penalty
Good for Royal Nawab but too congested. Prices are reasonable to park.
Cheap car park. Don’t follow their app instructions it doesn’t work.
Large parking lot, in a good location near the center.
Quite decent parking place, very reasonably priced!
