"The most evil council I have ever known"
"I own a flat in St Kilda that I use occasionally as a place to stay for friends and relatives"
"I have lived in this area for over 25 years now and it is an absolute disgrace! I've asked to have the streets marked with lines to help people be able to successfully park their cars properly! The council wants me to do their job and get signatures on a petition! I have a full time job and don't have time to go knocking on neighbour's doors! They also put in permit parking without getting signatures from residents! Just collecting more revenue!!! Can't wait to get out of this area now!"
The most evil council I have ever known. I have lived all over Australia. Different cities, different suburbs, & different country towns.I am a senior citizen in my sixties, with teenage grandchildren, however, to get a parking ticket in all day parking, out the front of my unit, a joke! Let’s move on. I adopted my Teddy, a rescue cat, an older fella, whom I adore. I had him for about 3 weeks, when a male rang me with lack of diplomacy from the council telling me, “ Why haven’t you registered your cat”? And how am I supposed to know that? Have had dogs & cats, budgies & rabbits etc, did not know about this. My question was, & still is, how did they know I had a cat in the first place? Next. My car, once again, parked out the front gets a big giant yellow sticker, like it’s a stolen car or something. I felt sick. (Once again.) It was from Port Phillip Bay Council, threatening to tow away my car! You know why? Because my car was 3 days overdue for my rego!!!! Evil, they are beyond evil actually. The one star is for nothing. It’s a zero. P.S. They are trying to get me to edit or delete my comments. As you can see.
I own a flat in St Kilda that I use occasionally as a place to stay for friends and relatives. For the last 2 yrs the council in their wisdom will not give me a visitors parking permit or an owners parking permit. Their reasoning, it appears, is that I may sell or give the parking permit to someone else to use. This is akin to VicRoads not giving me a licence to drive because I may speed or cause an accident or Fisheries not giving me a fishing licence because I may keep an undersized fish. Their common sense has long gone and their socialist ways prevail over decency to those who pay their wages.
