"Bully may be the correct word"
I appealed for a parking fine and never received any response in the mail as promised twice by them but then received another notice with 'reminder fee' added. Called the council and was advised there's no option to remove the added fee even when they agreed it was ridiculous so the only option is to take the matter to court.
Rhiannon from customer service was awesome. She was so kind and bubbly and turned what was a problem for me into a solution. New bins ordered and text message service given as well as further advice. Thanks, Rhiannon! You’re an asset to the City of Monash. Management please take note ☺️
A big thank to the friendly response to my call regarding missed bin collection. The lady who answered my call today at 12 noon was very polite and helpful and just 30 minutes later my call to Monash city council, my bin had been collected. Exceptional service. Thank you. …
Went to Jells Park today had a great time there with friends but the Toilet Facilities near the Kiosk are disgraceful, toilet paper on the floor, slight smell of Urine as well. Need to be upgraded urgently. Also need more Rubish Bins, and
Bully may be the correct word. We were told by council we could park in the permit zone while the permit was on the way and we registered our number plate with the council to park in that zone. Then I get slammed with a fine and appealed it
Where do I start? Bought a house that had a shed built without getting a permit. I was threatened with a big fine. No prob. I thought I'd pull it down. Then a council surveyor told me what to do to get it approved. I submitted plans just as
Left an email to Monash Council regarding food safety concerns involving one of the food and drink vendors in Clayton. The matter was addressed by Monash Council in a professional and timely manner. It was also pleasant to have received an
The male parking staff with gold top knot hair, 5’6, around 40 years old, drive the small white car, to every ‘’ no stop” sign in Monash area, take photos in 20 metres away and leave so quickly and quietly, so scary, I saw a car was giving
You have an absolutely HUGE traffic problem. While other councils are moving forward to implement better PT and connect-ability, Monash areas are gridlocked and options of PT are scarce and unreliable. I would hope a big review is underway
on 20/11/2023 i just finished a work on 15 prince st clayton. and when im leaving driving to beleura grove i felt my tyre hit something so i parked on the side and spent 1 minute to check, and now received a parking fine. it was the short
madeleine or Madison has to be either one of the names( I am bad with names ) is a staff member/ animal rescuer who is the best at what she does. I enquired about a lost kitten and ended up speaking to her over the phone and she explained
The most cowardly council I have come across. Will not do anything about vexatious neighbours who continue to harrass residents of surrounding units. Processes to handle this situation is non-existent and I'm positive I'm not the only one
Sadly the service that we experience comes down to the luck of which Customer Service Officer you speak to. I've dealt with Monash City council several times over the years across a broad range of issues including rubbish collection, pet
I deal with multiple councils. Monash is by far the worst. Things that should take days take months. They pick small things that don't matter and draw out the process for no reason. Then miss major things to suit themselves. I don't know
Monash council has come a long way in my opinion. I did a owner builder project in 2013/2015 and it was a little painful dealing with the council. however the current project i am doing has been a awesome, and responds time has also been
Zero accountability and extremely poor customer service. No communication about road closures on neighbouring streets. Seen so many street closures in the past 2 years. When you ring the council, council workers abruptly put you on hold
Every time work is done on my nature strip they leave it in a mess, worse than before. NBN were the previous ones who left it all gravelly and the grass will not grow. Last week the pavement repair people left the edges all chunky. They
OMG! What a horrible and terrible customer service in Monash council! The lady who did the customer service is very very arrogant! I mean very, extremely arrogant! My daughter’s MCH appointment has been rescheduled just before the day
It's been a month since I reported someone had stolen the wheels off our wheelie bin and since then I've had promises, excuses and apologies. I've been told they had replaced the bin only to find an old bin with someone else's address
Absolutely appalled by the lack of parking inspections in Collegium Avenue. There are 1hr parking signs on the private residential side but TAC & Rymans continually park there all day. This leaves very limited parking for deliveries &
Every year the parking permits do not ship out to my house address on time. Every year I get fined when parked with the old permit while we wait for the new one to come. Every year we call and try to get it sorted out, they tell us to
Monash city council is greedy for taking money out of people by sending infringement notice without any reply, without any evidence. If you did not pay, you are been threatened by paying more money. At this very time, they are doing
The Council car parks are a disgrace. We are encouraged to use public transport but when you do and there is an accident on the line, as there was when I went to the city today causing considerable delays you get slugged with an
Just a quick review. Council rates are cheap and always provide minimimal services. Sadly they are do not look at value for money. Recently council reduced waste bin services without any PRIOR consultion to
Monash sitting counsel is always good. In customer services. I experienced such a positive experience today talking to their customer service representative call Rhiannon. She was pleasant and very helpful.
Red bins taken once a fortnight. How disgusting…. We’ve had to order extra bins and pay more for less…… so now have 2 red bins taken once a fortnight instead of one emptied weekly….. just ridiculous.
I would like to give 0 star. I got 3 parking penalty notices in 1-2 weeks. It was a new sign and it's not very clear to understand. I drive for at least 10 years and have full driving
Instead of removing a destructive tree root (footpath has been repaired 3 times in 2 years), Monash staff dumped a load of soil on my nature strip and scattered some grass seeds.
Typical Monash City Council taking away golf course that people with disabilities use and love ! Typical Monash City Council stuffing up peoples lives again and again ! Keep
Good job Issuing me a fine as I was giving way to school kids and thus park outside the ‘allowed parking area’, so the infridgement is more important than the safety of kids?
This city council decided to collect red bin once every two weeks, no wonder public bins around parks is always full. Who ever made this policy should be fired straight away.
HEADSUP!!! Don't waste your time and energy trying to get LEGITIMATE Questions answered. Staff just give generic cut and paste road safety act responses which are common
Oh WOW! I can't believe the reviews on here when my experiences have all been so positive. Firstly, when I phone up about anything the person who answers the phone is
Missed our recycling bin collection 2 times in a row for the whole street. Reason provided was that we are very busy and multiple collections are there so
Be aware that if you supply a $3000 security deposit for drainage works that they will take over 1 month to give it back after sign off. Unprofessional.
Just moved into the area and had a few things to do with council. Positives: - One nice person on the phone (out of probably 15)
Monash City Council Money Grabbing Thieves.... I received notification of an alleged parking offence; including additional fees
Let you guys to see what is going on: To: Risk Management & Insurance Coordinator Monash City Council
It is a surprise the council removed my comment. Very 'professional' practice I can see from here
