I just moved to Indianapolis from St. Louis 8 months ago my lease was up at my apartment complex in Indianapolis. So I was doing research on rental properties came across CityPlace. At first I was hesitant because of the bad reviews I seen but I said I’ll try anyways. I applied and payed my application fee within 48 hours they let me know if I was approve or not Ms. Erica stated I was denied. Only because in they policy they want you take care of any remaining balance that you may or may not have on whatever property you leasing or renting from. So the next week I was able to pay the balance that I owed. And I contact Ms. Erica via email and stated that I payed my remaining balance that I owed to my apartment complex and ask was my application still available next thing I know I got approved. Ms. Erica was very informing and very responsive and was patient with me seemed like she really could relate which I told her personally I appreciated. Ms. Erica gave me a price set. I found a duplex within that price range and I emailed her the property of interest Ms. Erica contacted the landlord I sent my docs they request next thing I know I get a email that I was approve so it’s an easy quick process if you got all your duckies in row and ready to roll I would say that when I came to the office to sign my lease Ms. Erica welcomed me with a warm smile and excellent but yet comfy customer service. She went over the do’s the dont’s and I loved that she was happy and exciting for and she didn’t even know me and I love that she know about my hometown St. Louis so that helped a lot specially with me not being up her Ms. Erica went out her way to get my dog some water and introduce herself and pet my dog. My experience was fast efficient and effective and THANKS AGAIN TO MS. Erica and CityPlace for providing affordable reliable property ones and excellent customer service 10 out of 10‼️

CityPlace Indy has been the best rental company I’ve ever been a tenant for, and I’ve rented with a few. During the application process, I received quick responses and answers to all my questions. They were really polite and explained everything! Signing the lease was incredibly easy, when I stopped by to get my keys it only took a few minutes. The best part is, by far, maintenance. After moving in, there were just some small things I needed, nothing was even emergent, but I had someone stop in within the next business day, and everything taken care of (with the exception of one thing that’s being secured) within less than a week. Joe, who fixed my window screens, was so nice and got everything done quickly. I got to choose an appointment window, and Joe showed up right on time and was finished before the window even finished. Everyone has been a pleasure to work with and so far it seems like they really care about the properties and tenants. I’m so glad I went with their property to rent!

Upon moving in it was insane. I immediately had utilities put to my name and was not told til after the suffering that there is 2 meters for my unit. I was without hot water for a week and had electric issues. This was very frustrating. Causing me to seek shelter elsewhere for that time period. Maintenance did resolve that issue thank you. There were many minor issues also that should have been noted before I began my tenancy. One being this enormous giant fridge that takes up the whole kitchen literally. I can say that Brett did an amazing job though. I was smelling a foul like rodent smell and there was a dead mouse behind my stove. He came immediately and found the issue spot on. I would like to see a credit of some sort on my account after all this. You have your expectations of me as a tenant and I have mine. All the Best Denise

I wish I read all of the reviews before renting with this management company…..we lived at a property at Randolph St. we took better care of the house than we found it in. We send pics and videos of the inside and outside of house: They charged out account after moving out with a $800 “landscaping fee”. All the grass and bushes were cut. They just started ghosting us and not responding. So we are taking them to small claims. All this to take our $1050 deposit . We have had a bad experience from the beginning. They did not tell us at the house had a rat infestation. They refused to do anything about it, and took forever to even reply to a request. So we had to do it ourselves. Congrats for being so petty and making your $$ off of people’s security deposits. Idk how the people who work here sleep at night. Too much bad karma.

There’s no such thing as a perfect place, but…I’m happy with how this management team works. I’ve lived at the rental for 2 years signing for my third. There were a few hiccups that have come up, but they do try to take care of you. For me, I cannot praise or be thankful enough to Brett. He is professional, always tells you exactly what is going on and how he’s going to go about fixing it. He’s more than reliable, and a really nice guy. He’s also my go to guy if I need help or advice right away, and the one I trust in my house. Whenever I put in a maintenance request I’m always hoping that I’ll get Brett. I really like the house and I’m glad I have someone like Brett that I can trust in my home even if I cannot be there. Thank you so much for your service it does not go unnoticed.

Hi, my name is Correy M. I have had nothing but positive encounters with both city place and their contractors. They respond promptly, and I have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer this past year and still have many financial obstacles to overcome but they have been so helpful and understanding. I can't always pay in full on a fixed income by the 1st and I believe due to covid and inflation they have been very reasonable and understanding the severity of such situations. I couldn't ask for a better landlord. If I got rich today I would buy my property. Love you cityplace. I know everyone want share the same sentiment but my experience has been nothing short of amazing compared to other companies I've worked with.

Don't choose them as a management company. I rented from them had a leak the first week which was halfway repaired the first time and that took 6 months. After a year of renting the basement flooded and water started coming from the same spot in the ceiling of dining rooom when I moved in. After they failed to repair a lot of things I opened the ceiling and found trelmendous amount of black mold. Thoughtout my time living their the heal+th department was called 3 times. Then when asked to be let out of the lease Erica Bravo said" Good Luck with that" Now I have asthma and I have never had any health problems in my life. I'm really thinking about sueing them but .

City Place Property Management and all of their staff are fantastic! Just signed my 3rd consecutive lease with them. I’ll continue to only rent City Place properties in the future, as I couldn’t be happier with them. All of my questions and/or maintenance requests are always quickly acknowledged, and any needed repairs are quickly and efficiently completed. All of their staff are friendly, always communicate and follow through and have quickly responded to and resolved any issue I have had. Would certainly recommend to anyone in the area looking to rent a home or who is looking for a quality property management company to manage their own property.

CityPlace is the Best Ever. I switched because I had communications problems with my old management. Not only do they communicate, but are quick to attend to the needs. They are dealing with a problem tenant, and doing a great job. Also took a lead paint issue and fixed it, which the last place couldn't do. And even made a special report at my request. I'm a amazed. The $50 a door management fee is great. I have 8 doors, and it is so worth it! Thank you! CityPlace. Keep up the good work. I love the work they do! Wish I could give them a 10 out of 5 stars!!

City Place has thus far been the easiest to work through, responsive, and they take great care of tenants. Every issue I’ve ever had, I’ve been able to get it taken care of quickly and efficiently. The maintenance techs are knowledgeable and not just putting temporary bandaids on problems. I’ve had an air conditioner replaced, a furnace, and a water spicket, with no issues and no follow up visits needed. They’ve been wonderful to work with and definitely stress free. Super blessed CityPlace Realty took over the properties here in Woodruff Place that I have lived in for the past 4 years. They have no been managing for even 2 months and have done more to these apartments then any other management has done in 8+ years. When I put a request in for something, it gets done within 24-48 hrs. Everyone is so sweet and understanding. As long as you communicate with them about rent issues. They work with you and its just been a HUGE blessing.

I have been going through city place for many years. I have never had any issues with them. If I have anything wrong they are quick to send someone out the same day or the next day. I never really have any problem with any of the houses I have rented from them. They are a great place to rent from. I would recommend them to anyone. All the stuff here is super helpful and friendly. So if you are looking to rent from somewhere make this your first stop.

Ive had many management companies over the years. City place is helpful when needed. Erica is super nice and responsive, good with communication. Maintenance is like anywhere else. Responsive and timely as well. Not always productive with repairs. I’ve lived in this house four years now, the duct work in my crawl space still falls from the vents every summer after they’ve fixed it. But overall would recommend renting with city place.

I moved from out of state, and this company was very good at communicating. Staff is friendly and answers calls even on weekends. Plenty of rentals at a reasonable price, and move in was a quick and easy process. One thing I would prefer is if they had cleaned the unit before I moved in. It had a lot of spider webs and dust from being vacant for so long. Few maintenance concerns, which were taken care of quickly.

Overall I have had a good experience with CityPlace Property Management. Since they have taken over the house I live in, they added a lock to the front door of the home which has helped with safety and security tremendously. However, there have been some issues regarding maintenance. It can take a while to have matters resolved, and still some issues are yet to be resolved, but overall a fairly good experience.

CityPlace has been one of the best property management companies that I have rented with. They always respond to any maintenance/repair requests and/or questions we have. We renewed our lease for the second time this year (rent remained the same the first time, increased by less than $40 the second time). The employees that we’ve been in contact with communicate very well via phone, email, text, and/or portal.

New renter here. Very happy with the property, but more importantly, with the customer service. The process to get approved and take possession was simple and well communicated. I feel confident and reassured that the company will take care of things that need to be done. Fellow friends live in the same apartments, and spoke highly of their own experience with the company, which was a big selling point.

My experience with CityPlace has been nothing short of great. Easy way to pay rent, communication is made simple and convenient, any little issues I’ve had in the last 3 years (which have been minimal) have been addressed timely and efficiently. We lease our townhome in Carmel through CityPlace and our experience with them has been excellent. They are quick to respond to maintenance requests and their team is professional and efficient. Joe replaced the dishwasher recently and he was prompt, made sure it was working before he left, and cleaned everything up when he was done. We would definitely recommend leasing through CityPlace.

Easy process and the place I’ve moved into is just what I needed. I’m hoping to continue my good experience with CityPlace. *Maintenance specific* Maintenance was quick to respond to my request. Cityplace has definitely been a much better experience than the last management company we rented through. The staff have always been flexible and friendly. Maintenance team reacts fairly quickly to service requests. Although, I will have to say that approval can be a slow process and their repairs aren't always the most effective. Overall a good experience though.

Maintenance is absolutely awful. Taking nearly 2 weeks in the summer to start cleaning a sewage leak and still say that mold will not be an issue is unacceptable. I had to file a formal complaint with the City of Fishers Health Dept involving these slumlords. P. S. They City Place pays tenants $15 for either a 4 or 5 star review upon move in

I had the pleasure of working with Brett today. Who also handled maintenance scheduling for me. Very cool guy. He was very informative, timely & neat. The entire process from submitting maintenance work to it being completed, was a breeze. Also being a woman living alone he made me feel extremely comfortable during the entirety of his visit.

Before Cityplace took over where I am renting my furnace had gone out twice in freezing weather n the old property managers had me wait over a week to get it fixed. Cityplace took over property management duties at our tiny complex in Danville, and the transition has been seamless and super advantageous.
