"Nice place for a snack and a drink"
I'm glad I gave this place a try. I came around 1:30 on Easter Sunday and was surprised to find myself the only customer, but the traffic (mostly to-go) picked up a lot during my visit. Probably a weird day because it was a holiday. The staff were really nice and genuine people and I felt at home in the shop. The only seating is the stools along the window counter - most of the floorspace is dedicated to the gift shop, which sells a variety of home goods and pantry items including but not limited to candles, tea towels, ceramic kitchenware, dried pastas, and sauces. The lunch menu is pretty small with just 3 sandwiches, but there's a great selection of pastries, plus all the usual coffee and tea drinks. I had the Tomato & Fior di Latte Sandwich, the Pistachio and Citrus Semolina Cake, and a Matcha Latte. The sandwich was basically a standard caprese but very good - I loved the fresh roll and garlic aioli. It was pretty small though. I like smaller portions within reason, but this was not the size I expected given the price. The cake was amazing! I love how semolina cakes are always so moist and the flavours here were really nice. Unlike the sandwich, this was a pretty generously-sized slice, but it still disappeared quickly because I could not get enough. The matcha latte was pretty good too. The strength of the matcha was very middle-of-the-road - I think they got right in the sweet spot where people who like strong tea like me can enjoy it but it's also unlikely to offend people who like their drink milder. It came unsweetened which is my preference. A little pricey - with dairy milk it's $5.50 which is totally acceptable for 16oz, but nondairy milk adds $1. If the cake I had is any indicator of the quality of the rest of their desserts, I would highly recommend trying a pastry and enjoying the positive vibe if you can grab a seat.

Typical Vancouver coffee place, overpriced coffee/goodies + overpriced beautiful local artist material + rude service. I try hard to support local businesses, but it’s affronting to see how much these coffee shops -that offer absolutely nothing special- charge for things and expect people to be okay with it. I often go to new coffee spots, simply because I love coffee and to have a nice experience. More and more I’m baffled by the combination mentioned above, the bad service I often attribute to the staff being underpaid, which is a sad reality of this city currently, which still does not justify being rude to customers (this is me nicely saying I’m never coming back). As for the art… I try to support and I find it beautiful, but I’ll only admire it. I’m still giving 3 stars because… well the brownie thingy was actually tasty and the store is very visually pleasant.
Vibrant little shop! It’s 50% cafe with very limited seating and 50% quality goods store. I ordered an organic matcha latte and a sandwich, both were very good. I appreciated the compostable cup and lid (lid seemed to be made out of paper). With costs being high everywhere I thought the $20ish (including tip) I paid for my two items was fair considering It really felt like they put effort into offering quality ingredients and products. No accessible seating: Based on old photos, it seems like they used to have a lot more seating, but now they just have a window bar with stools. It’s a new place I look forward to visiting again!

TLDR: Looks good for the gram. But terrible people + service. Stop supporting terrible shops like this in Vancouver. People keep going so, they keep surviving (somehow) Beautiful store! Beautiful (extremely over priced items) Terrible service! Terrible staff! Extremely snobby! They think they did a cordon bleu in serving coffee or something! One blonde lady has a scowl on her face all the time! The other curly black hair lady refuses to engage! All they wanna do is talk to each other! They have the same drinks across the street! No A/C! Avoid if you can! Vancouver is full of places like this and I'm kind of sick of it. Time to boycott even if it looks good on the gram!
Nice place for a snack and a drink. Had a pleasant bustling atmosphere and not too busy, so we could get a seat. Staff was nice, everything looked clean and a fair selection to choose from. Food was pretty tasty, the salad and quiche was very fresh and looked impressive. However my sandwich just seemed very mediocre and boring to look at. For $9 I’d like a handful of chips at the very least instead I got an extra napkin. The only other option is to have a salad on the side for another $4. And it did take a while to come considering. Also didn’t really get the super tiny glasses for water.
Great little spot for a coffee and a snack. I highly recommend the quiche and the avocado and egg toast. Great selection of baked goods. Decent coffee. Great space. I would love to give this place a higher rating but the service is just atrocious. The woman behind the counter was rude, unfriendly and have zero idea of what customer service is about. I thought it was just me but we witnessed her treat other customers rudely while we were there. Go to Hayan Mug across the street instead, not as much food selection but they make up for it with their friendliness.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have been coming here for 5 years, since I moved to Vancouver and I will keep coming back for more! The service, the atmosphere, and most of all, the drinks..... I can't get enough of them! The hipster cafe is also a perfect place to grab a coffee and go to a quiet place to study and do research. The last time I went, I had the Salted Caramel Latte and the Herb Scone..... YUM! The latte wasn't too sweet, but really let the coffee do the talking! Also loved the latte art! Walked in on a whim with my daughter and we were blown away. They have “it” going on! We shared the quiche and salad which was well portioned, gorgeous to look at and eat. Then ........we shared the orange olive cake wow, it was so beautiful and perfect with raspberry cream and a plain cream. Next time, I am not sharing keep it up! Love this place

I got a Croissant and a passion fruit tart. The Croissant is pretty good, but man that tart was amazing. Crust is delicate and buttery, the passion fruit custard? was so good. Smooth with a strong passion fruit flavour.

Fresh delicious baked goods and the soup and sandwiches are great too. Busy on Saturday mornings and lunch. A lovely place to perch weekday afternoons for writers who want a comfy friendly atmosphere without distractions of home life. Pots of tea are plenty full and hot and the coffee brewed well too. Stumps.
Not a lot of seating room but such a lovely selection of baked treats and handmade local goodies which all would make fine gifts. The herb and cheddar scone is unreal.

Chic and bright cafe/ ceramicware store! All the baked goods I tried were excellent! I particularly liked their savoury scone. It was softer than expected but very flavourful.

Quite pricey for what you get. The hibiscus tea was a let down and the carrot cake was not good/fresh. There is also very limited seating. Most people got their drinks to go. The pizza bread was got was okay also.

Stop here if you want delicious cake, soup, sandwich or salad! Famous (between me and my friends) for their excellent salted caramel latte and double baked almond, bourbon croissant. Quirky seating, pleasant decor and music is appropriate. Outside seating also available.
Best croissants in the city! Especially love their plain croissant and almond croissant. I used to live in the area so it brings up a lot of nostalgia. Delicious coffee as well. Seating area has been removed and Coco now sells for really cute home and gourmet food items.
Cozy place. Usually busy. Looks like they’re doing well and have regulars. Always many babies around. The coffee is good but on the pricier side. Definitely a different vibe from Artigiano across the street. Salted caramel and dirty chai are good. $5-7.
Quality coffee and pastries. Friendly service. Seating is limited, mainly because they use a lot of the store to sell other things. Overall, it was a good first experience.

Delicious baked goods and good coffee. Was a shame that the young lady serving me seemed so miserable and didn’t speak much. It was almost like I had done something to offend her!

The interior design and layout are very nice. The cakes looks good too but super overpriced! A cookie with Americano was 7 dollars. I can get similar ones elsewhere for better price.
Simple design Many choices of ready made items to buy in store as gifts Yummy rhubarb cake Tasty cafe latte Keep in mind during COVID-19 there’s no washroom functioning here
This place is great for people-watching in summer. I've been here for a quick coffee alone and with a medium sized group. Try their hibiscus iced tea. You won't regret it.
Coffee shop that sells fancy gifts and cheese. Bakeries are great! Gifts I found too expensive. Coffee tasted
