Absolutely amazing! Eddy, the owner, came to survey the items I had to move and encouraged me to reach out to him with any questions I might have. He was super responsive and addressed all of my concerns quickly. I wish I would've known that they offered reasonable labor pricing too before I used another company to unload my pod for WAY too much $$. On the day of the move, the guys were running behind but it was fine since I blocked off the entire day for the move. Andy (lead), Chris and Taylor were my movers, and I wasn't sure why there were three guys but I figured it would be more efficient to have the third one anyway and didn't fuss about it. Eddy reassured me that I wouldn't be charged for the third hunk, which was very generous. These guys worked incredibly hard and I only had one item broken (and it was from one of the guys literally dropping it on the floor because I had failed to put it in a box), which we can call a successful job!

Very disappointed in this move, considering how highly rated they are on Google. The movers took no care at all for the apartment or our belongings. No protective measures were included for the floor or walls, as with most professional movers I've seen. Several important things were stepped on or broken - they broke a full-length mirror, just knocked it over and it shattered, and they didn't even apologize, let alone offer compensation! They charged us an obscene amount for very small things ($35 for a single wardrobe box, $22 for a single picture box), and would not work with us at all. We asked to rent moving blankets to protect an irreplaceable desk, they refused to rent because "it would cut into our profits" and then charged us an insane $35 *each* for dirty, ripped blankets "because they're branded". I am utterly disgusted with how this move was handled and will be letting friends and family know to stay away from this company.

College hunks moved us last Saturday and they did an outstanding job. Dan and his crew moved us quickly, professionally, and took great care of us. The process was easy and the owner John made sure everything was gone over so when your moving day came you knew exactly what was exspected. He went over what was being moved in your location so he made sure you got the right truck and crew to move you quickly from one location to the other and reduce stress of moving day. I really appreciate how easy my move was. Thank you again Dan and your crew you for all your hard work and making our day a stress free day. This was my first time working with the Hunks! Felipe and Kienan, went above and beyond. Before arrival, I received a detailed text about the Hunks so I felt safe letting them into my home. Not only were they on time but they offered to stop and get me a coffee on their way! Without asking, they brought blankets, tape, boxes, and more to help really make my move low stress. I thought it would take around 4-6 hours to get everything on the truck, it only took 3 hours from start to finish!!! Felipe and Kienan were so kind, so professional, and efficient. I will definitely be using the Hunks again for my next move. 10/10!!!

I had a great experience hiring College Hunks for my local moving. Since the contact with the sales person, John, and the moving day with Darren and Joshua everything was above and beyond. It feels that customer service nowadays is "non-existent", but not with this company. They really do an amazing job.I hired them to move some furniture to a storage that was 4 miles away. They really packet the furniture like we were going cross country! I was really impressed with the quality of work. They quote me for 3 hours and we passed by 15 minutes. They moved fast and with care. I will definitely hire them again in the future!

I had the pleasure of working with Duc and Phil, and they did such a wonderful job with the move! They were very adaptive with what I needed help moving, and did everything in an efficient manner. Both of them were very nice and pleasant to talk to. I also worked on scheduling this move with John Allen, who answered all the questions I had in a very timely manner, and helped me confirm everything I needed for successful move. Yesterday morning we called to have someone come out and remove all of the items from my parent's garage - we needed "same day pick up". Duc and his brother Phi were so polite, hard working, personable, careful, and communicated very well as to when they were coming and what they were doing. What a wonderful experience! We also contacted John Allen (the Owner - San Diego North). He praised the young men, and was grateful to have them as his employees. We will most likely have more items to be picked up, and possibly moved to another location. Well done! 5 star service!

We had a great experience working with John and his crew of HUNKS. John came by for an in person estimate which helped us feel more comfortable moving forward with the company. We created a plan and he was in communication with us the entire time. Our crew of 3 HUNKS showed up on time to pack up and were extremely professional and kind. They moved quickly but took care of our belongings. The next day they arrived on time to load up the truck and move us to the next location. They even shaved off some time from the original estimate. Highly recommend!

Honestly such an amazing experience. We just moved here and needed to get rid of some stuff and was pretty stressed about how to get rid of it. I had Duc and Ethan picking up a dresser and a couple of old TV’s for me. They were right on time, very friendly, and quick to move everything. They explained pricing thoroughly and was very pleased at how inexpensive everything was. Duc was who I interacted with most and was great to talk to and I hope he does great things with his degree in Aircraft Mechanics! 100% would use them again in the future!

We had a great experience with the hunks from the very beginning to when they packed up and left. Our communication with their reservation specialist was quick easy and efficient, our hunks showed up on time and had communicated with us even before they arrived. They worked hard and efficiently were able to pack up an entire truckload in a couple of hours. We will call them again if we need any more hauling, and I would recommend this company and Josh to anyone needs from trash to mattresses hauled way.

We had a long list of items to donate including a washer and dryer, grill, couch, and Josh and Caleb came out and did such a great job getting it loaded on their truck. They were very kind and friendly. This was the quickest and easiest way to get things out of our house that we don’t need anymore. I’m very happy that they will be donating most of the items, so someone else can benefit from them. I would definitely recommend them for any moving or donation needs anyone might have.

I was 100% satisfied with my move by College Hunks. John was very thorough with my estimate and so nice. He answered all my questions. Felipe, Winston, and Jaivon did an amazing job with the actual move. They arrived on time and were very fast and efficient. They completed the move in less time than was estimated. All four gentlemen that I dealt with were very friendly and professional. I will recommend them to anyone who needs a mover and will use them again when needed.

I wish I could give them higher then 5 stars they responded very quickly to my inquiry and were at my house within a few hours to remove everything. They were super nice, professional, and did everything very efficiently the whole process took less then 15 minutes maybe, but it made a world of difference for me. I would definitely use them again or recommend them to anyone who is looking for this type of service. All of the staff was absolutely stellar!

On April 11, 2023, Dan and Josh arrived at 12:08 pm and worked hard till 3:11 pm. Both as polite, professional, and very caring about moving the larger pieces of furniture and boxes setting each item where they belonged. It was like watching a ballet of these two solid yet agile men that also love basketball. Dan and Josh helped me with key decisions which room or place some items should go, when I asked for their opinion. I was more than satisfied!!

Called on a Thursday and had my job done on Monday. Staff were very helpful and informative. Peter, Isaac and Zach did a terrific job of relocating various heavy office furniture items from a POD to my garage and rooms in my house. I appreciated their thoughtful suggestions for furniture placement. I couldn’t believe how much they accomplished in 2 hours!! I highly recommend using this company for various types of moves.

Excellent service all the way around. Their call center responded to my request even outside of working hours. Their movers were professional and helpful and communicative. Their local owner even called me to ensure I had everything I needed. I couldn’t believe that they even brought me a much-needed coffee on the day of my move. Who does that?!?! Similar cost to competitors with far superior service.

The crew worked very quickly and professionally when they were here. I appreciated that they called in advanced to talk logistics. We had to adapt the original working plan when the walkway I planned had more stairs than I realized the the crew was able to work around it very smoothly. Cannot say enough good things about the moving experience, considering how difficult moving can be on its own.

Had an awesome experience using College Hunks to help us load our moving truck. As a military family we have moved a lot and this was by far our easiest move. Felipe and his team were extremely efficient and were very respectful and cautious with our belongings and repeatedly checked in the ask us how we wanted things handled. Felipe and Ryan were extremely efficient, and friendly throughout my move. I had a difficult sectional to move through a small staircase that they managed to onto the moving truck with looked done with ease but wasn’t and really showed their moving expertise and capabilities. I contacted College Hunks to pick up an old mattress and box spring. The service was easy to book. Communication was easy and clear regarding arrival times (text messaging kept it simple). The guys were friendly and efficient and careful not to bang into our walls. All in all, it was a great service and I would use them again to haul away large items.

Thank you College Hunks! I scheduled a mattress pickup at 6pm on a Sunday. The next morning, at 10am, the mattress was gone. I loved the immediate response, great communication via text, and the fantastic pickup team (thanks, Josh!). Couldn’t be happier with their service. College Hunks is seriously the best! We had two movers, and they were so sweet and caring with our belongings (AND they were SUPER fast without breaking or scratching anything which is seriously impressive). Our dog was a little nervous with all the moving, and they were so sweet to him as well. 10/10 experience and would definitely hire them again!

Really grateful that Isaac and Ryan came to help out. They made a quick move from Mira Mesa to rancho bernardo. We had a baby and a 3 story walk up and they did great work with a smile! -- going above and beyond to make sure our stuff was delivered without damage. This included a giant 4 ft by 6 ft mirror. I tried for weeks with Goodwill, Salvation Army, Out of the Closet, etc., no one picks up; had appt with Closet; driver quit day before. Hunks is fantastic, responsive; got in 1 day; Josh is great, professional, reasonable, reliable, dependable. I have used 3 times now. Josh knows the job.
