Amanda is an ultra talented colourist and wonderful person. She’s extremely experienced but also is consistently up to date on trends and techniques so you’re getting the best of both worlds. She’s truly a blonde specialist and knows the exact tone that looks good on me :neutral never too orange or too grey. She’s fixed my hair many times when I tried to do It myself and when I wasn’t happy with another stylists work. I learned never to try and cut Corners or costs Amanda is simply the best. That’s why I travel from Toronto to see her! I Find my colour looks fresher longer with Amanda as she takes extra time and effort to make sure it lasts until your next appointment.

I could not have been happier with my experience at Colour Genie! I am naturally a brunette had been wanting to go much lighter with my hair colour for a long time but I was having a hard time finding the right person to help me with this. Amanda is the best colorist I have ever been to. I arrived as a brunette with brassy highlights and left with a beautiful soft sandy brown color and highlights. I look like I have a healthier skin tone and less pale. Amanda has completed so much work on my hair in just one visit but she gave me the choice of partial highlights or full highlights. Amanda is amazing!!! She is so passionate and this shows in her work of creating beautiful hair colour.
