This company may be the #1 contractor (yes, not just roofing company, but CONTRACTOR overall) that I have ever done business with. My wife contacted Compass to take a look at a wet spot we had on the ceiling of our sunroom. Mark came out promptly to inspect and found the issue came from how the sunroom was added on to the house. While many other, larger companies have trained inspectors to offer a "total fix" solution (i.e. up-sell), especially when meeting with my wife who is notoriously horrible about falling for sales pitches, Mark at Compass was 100% transparent and honest. He explained the problem and broke down a number of possible solutions at varying prices which ranged from basically re-doing the attachment work ($10k+), or simply performing some regular maintenance to mitigate the problem worsening (clean your damn gutters). He told us they offer this service for $100, but it's a very simple DIY project that should take less than an hour. Obviously we chose the DIY route, but there was a problem... A ice-storm was coming in less than a day, and we were going to be taking our 1-year old daughter into surgery. Mark did emphasize that the frozen precipitation could cause a more serious issue, but he understood our dilemma. After we parted ways, Mark called us back a few hours later. He was concerned with our gutter situation given the looming storm and REALLY did not want us to be stuck with a leaky roof AND a post-surgery infant all at once. So, he offered to come back later that very same day and clean the gutters out himself on his off hours! We were so grateful for his genuine concern and kindness. We insisted that we will happily pay him for his time, but he refused. After much back and forth, he accepted a small donation to his local church in lieu of payment, and we happily made it. The world needs more exceptional human beings like Mark, and we will happily be contacting him for any and all roofing/ gutter services from Compass in the future.

Called around for estimates for my damaged roof. Their rep Mark responded very quickly with the best estimate. He came to the house, got on the roof , and did a very thorough inspection. His knowledge and inspection procedure found an area on the front porch with water damaged wood. He told me up front about the possibility of some extra work, which to me was how professional companies operate. I hired Compass, they coordinated with me when would be the best time to start instead of just saying we will be here when a crew is available. Once started his estimated completion was right on time. The yards front and back were cleaned up better than when they started. They were very careful and covered all the bushes and flowers in the front yard. The roofing crew was courteous, professional and polite. NOTE: Mark had some pieces of wood and used them to repair the damaged water boards with no extra charges. His estimate was perfect for all concerned I have and will continue to recommend Compass Roofing to all my friends or anyone who says they need roof work done. Compass Roof took care of my roofing problems with promptness and courtesy! I called Compass Roofing when I had hail damage to a rental property I own. Robert and his team were professional, polite, reasonably priced and thorough in their assessment of damages to my roof.. (As it turns out, there were squirrels chewing the roof and getting into the attic!) Of course I was very worried about the damage,... however, ... because the Compass Roofing team were prepared to work, they took this problem off my hands very shortly thereafter. The result is No lasting damage to the structure of my rental home. The roof looks beautiful!, I felt comfortable with these contractors around me. I called on a Friday morning expecting to wait a few days for a response like the competitors. Not only did I get a human (not a voicemail/computer automated system) they were able to get out in just a few hours for an inspection of the leak in my son’s room on a stormy day. Mark called and offered a few different options to appeal to my unknown budget, from a quick fix for the continuing storm to a permanent fix. We went with the permanent fix. He called the house builder to get color matching shingles, and found a matching bathroom exhaust vent same day and dropped them off for the installer to install the next morning. The installer was there early and made quick work of the repair. Looks like the roof was never patched. Fast forward two days and I get a text from Mark on a holiday asking if the ceiling is still dry in my sons room. Absolutely phenomenal customer service, quality, speed, and price. I will never contact a different roofer.

We dealt with Mark Flanagan, he was absolutely amazing. Very attentive to our needs. He listen to our concerns and styles we were looking for. We were even able to upgrade from a standard shingle ( which we paid for) to a shingles that is storm proof labeled as class 4. Well worth it though. Which in turn it helped us drop our insurance tremendously! what we wanted was someone who helped and not just sold the generics. We even got copper gutters by Mr. Eric Buezos did the gutters and he was an amazing person to work with he manage to frame our house and it stands out from your regular cookie cutter homes! And after it was all said and done and clean up was completed. Mark did a final walk through and made sure we were happy! Service was amazing I really thought this was going to drag out for a while! I’m a Realtor an important piece of information when you list a home before you have a buyer and get into negotiations is whether or not the seller’s home needs a roof replacement. Compass Roofing assess if there is any damage free if charge, works with the seller’s Insurance and usually installs the new roof, if needed, within the week. Many of the seller’s didn’t need a new roof so we have a defense against any buyer’s home inspection if it says otherwise. However, if the home does need a new roof, we’ve added value to the home for the deductible. Better to know up front, rather than on the back end, when the buyer could ask for a steep discount in the price of the home or walk away from the deal. If the seller needs a new roof, I suggest my clients get two other bids. In every case, they’ve chosen Compass Roofing after receiving the bids.

We used Carey and his team at Compass Roofing through recommendations by our insurance company (Farmers) after we had a hail storm start a leak in our attic. Carey's team was very timely in their work and Carey himself personally saw to our needs, from ensuring the right stains were selected for our HOA requirements to taking the time to hand paint certain pieces of siding not covered by insurance! Compass Roofing put on 2 new roofs in less than a year of each other due to extreme weather in the southwest area of Fort Worth. Both projects went smoothly and efficiently and were carefully explained to me during the process. Scheduling was quick and the projects were completed In a timely manner. Robert A. dealt directly with my insurance company when additional repairs were needed. Additionally, I recommended Compass Roofing to a friend and they were equally pleased with their work and professionalism. Hopefully, the need for another roof will not occur for many years but I will definitely call Compass for all of my future roofing repairs.

We found Compass Roofing through a Google search and are so thankful we did! Mark Flannigan came out to inspect our roof and didn’t try to oversell anything and he wasn’t pushy. He pointed out the two potential causes (one being our gutter) and offered solutions on how to fix the problem- straightforward and no gimmicks! Great experience fixing a serious problem! I had two layers of shingles (the first was 40 years old) that were leaking. The stain and paint on my house was old and extremely faded, and some of the cedar trim had begun to rot. Compass replaced trim where necessary, stained/painted the exterior, and installed premium shingles after removing the two layers in place. They were easy to work with and did exactly what they said they would do. All work was accomplished in a timely manner, and everything cleaned well when they were finished. Based on my experience, I can recommend them.

This past spring I had hail damage that required a new roof, new gutters and downspouts. I carefully researched roofing companies in the area to hire to do the work. Compass Roofing and Construction had excellent reviews, so I decided to go with them. I was not disappointed. Carey took personal charge of the project. He was present when the insurance adjuster came out to look at the damage. Carey also checked on workers as they progressed with the job. He was very good about communicating and taking care of all the necessary details. The repair work was all done as promised.

After the atorm in 2016, my property was a mess. I was confused and didnt know where to begin. I was referres to Mark Flanagan by a neighbor He and Compass Roofing were outstanding. I worked with Rob and Mark on my project. I met Carey briefly... and he handled some things behind the scenes.
