I have been to Condesa twice for the same issue - stones falling out of their settings in my wedding and engagement ring. The first time they were extremely helpful and promised to "tighten everything up" so it wouldn't happen again. They also cleaned my rings before I collected them so I was very happy and hoped that would be the end of it. Then it happened again a few months later and the first thing David said to me was "oh I knew that would happen". I was not very happy to be paying again for what I thought I had already paid for, and I'm not entirely happy with how it looks either. The stone replaced looks like it's in much further than the others so it doesn't quite match up. David said this was because the holders come over the stone to keep it in place, but it just looks like a smaller stone than the others. They also gave it back to me without a cleaning which I've never experienced at any other jewlers before. I do think the quality of their work is pretty good and based on the many happy customers I'm thinking I am possibly just a one off. But given how much I spent on this, and to do it twice, I am not very happy and will likely find somewhere else in future.

I had a wonderful experience at Condesa Jewelry! I can't speak highly enough about working with David and how happy I've been with his craftsmanship. I stopped by there because I've never been not super happy with the setting of my engagement ring. (In fact, I often wouldn't wear the ring - I just felt that it didn't suit me.) David listened carefully to what I was hoping the ring could be redesigned to look like, and then he and I went back and forth via text with some potential design images that he generated using his software program. He made the designs such that the engagement ring would match my slim wedding band. At no time did I feel rushed throughout the design selection process. Ultimately, we settled on a design with a thin band and six-prong setting, which he did with only a one-week turn around time and for the reasonable price that he had quoted me initially. I was so happy when I saw the ring that he had made - I've worn it every day since and I love it!! I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have custom designs done - reasonably priced, professional, trustworthy, and excellent quality craftsmanship!! :)

I stop by Condesa to look for Stone Replacement and Missing earring replacement. It is a long story I lost my earring while on vacation and I was pretty sad. I came to the store with my earring and David provided me with a quote and it took a while for me to build the courage and decided to do that. It took around 3 weeks and the final job was identical to my original earring. Another time a stone came off my ring and it broke. David was going to a fair in the US and I had Cintrin I wanted to replace from my ring. He told me to wait that he was going to find a stone almost the same I had before. I was not disappointed and he delivered. He has done other works for me as well like resize rings, batteries for my watches and always friendly and honest price. Everyone there is friendly and I felt I could trust them. David has a lots of knowledge and expertise and I am definitely thinking on my next Jewlery project with him. I really love the shop and recommend it!

Highly Recommend! I needed both my engagement ring and wedding ring resized. Condesa Jewelry was close to my home. I sent an email and they responded within the hour. They messaged me the next day that my rings were ready!! When I picked up my rings I was pleasantly shocked at how beautiful they looked! My wedding band never looked so beautiful (apparently the person that I had make my band didn't finish it properly... it was always a little yellow looking for a white gold ring). My engagement ring sparkled like never before!!! The resizing was done flawlessly. The colouring, craftsmanship and fit is perfect. I also talked to David about making me a ring and he took time to talk about different stones and the estimated cost for the ring that I would like. I am confident that Condesa Jewelry does very fine work and will be going to them for any future repairs and custom jewelry.

I went to Condesa jewelry expertise for repair on my necklace. David was not there but Mia helped me. After she gave me a quote on my necklace repair, I told her I have a ring which is too big for me. The ring has stones all around. At different jewelry places, I was told they can make it smaller but stones may not stay where they are. Mia told me to bring it when I pick up my necklace so they can check for me. Next week, my necklace was repaired like brand new. I showed my rings( the one with stones and One was thick ugly ring with pretty bow on it) to David, and he told me he can resize the ring with stones. For other one he can make the ring thinner. Few days later I got a text from him that the rings were ready. I was happy when I saw my rings were perfectly my size and comfortable to wear. I am lucky to find this place. Condesa Jewelry is a little gem that I feel so lucky to have found.  I took my engagement ring to the shop as the centre diamond had become loose and required the prongs to be repaired.  David did an excellent job repairing my ring making sure that every little diamond on my ring was perfectly secured.  I was so happy with their customer service and their excellent work that I ended up taking a few of my grandma's old jewllelry to make it into a custom design ring.  I really enjoyed working with David and Mia so much.  They listen and truly care about their clients. My wife and I had a great experience in dealing with David. Over time my wife had accumulated numerous pieces of family jewelry that sat in box for years. My fiancé and I went to Condesa in search of our wedding bands. When we walked in, Mia, the store manager, was available. Mia is the BEST! She was so kind and patient as we explored and talked through all our options. There was absolutely no pressure at all. We were looking for bands that would compliment my engagement ring. Mia understood how special the ring was, as we explained it previously belonged to my fiancé’s Grandmother. Mia gave us updates throughout the whole ring making process as David and his team were creating them. Quoted $700.00 dollars for Sterling Silver hoops.This was rejected by me. $ 60. 00 worth of metal was not agreeable . I left disappointed for I wanted. to give my wife a Texaco copy from my mind to my wife for Christmas. I wanted to replace earrings that my wife lost due to masking during the Pandemic. I again made contact with Condesa Jewelry. I explained that the process the Mexican Advisor that the process be changed to make this process affordable . He agreed to reduce the price by reducing the circumstance half inch. Now the price would be $450.00. When I Received the product it’s was not to agreed scale. Next time I will go to Mexico. I don’t recommend this company, no case was provided. small plastics bags, this does not make a go presentation.

I have had jewelry cleaned, repaired and resized at Condesa and would highly recommend them. Their work is of superior quality! I can say this confidently compared to other jewellers I have gone to. My wedding band is a pave setting, over the years I have had diamonds fall out. I took the band to two other jewellers prior to Condesa. Each time the fix only lasted a short time and diamonds fell out again. Condesa did a beautiful and proper job setting the new diamonds in the ring and none have fallen out since they fixed it. Same thing with a bracelet I had fixed else where in the city. The bracelet broke again almost immediately after I had it repaired. I took it to Condesa and they fixed it properly and the bracelet never needed to be mended again.

Excellent service and a beautiful result. Was sent on a quest by my grandmother to find an in-town jeweller who could re-set this star sapphire ring (a graduation gift!)—she wanted to update the ring so I would enjoy wearing it more. Condesa (David (designer) & Mia) were clear, friendly, and upfront—I liked that every step of the process was explained to me and totally clear! They inspected the ring’s original metal content and gems to check that it was worth working on. I also really appreciated that David pulled together a 3D design mock-up and checked it by me before making the actual ring—it made me feel more sure that I (and my grandma) would be happy with what we were paying for!

Before I found Condesa, I went to a couple other jewellers whose ability to have gems cut was pretty limited (I had kind of a specific design for an engagement ring in mind). Condesa was able to accommodate all my ideas. Everyone who works there are total sweethearts. They were extremely patient and kind with me. And I honestly couldn't be happier with how the piece turned out. I mean, the thing is positively stunning. It looks exactly how I pictured it in my head. I’ve been going to see David for several years. My husband bought me some earrings from his store so when I had some work to do I went there. He converted a overly fancy pair of sapphire and diamond earrings into a modern, discreet pair….and used the diamonds for a necklace. Gorgeous. After lots of consulting and suggestions….I had no idea what to do with them! He has altered many rings and bracelets and fixed a pretty old (gold watch). Don’t know where he found glass for it! I’m getting married in September. My fiancé decided (with his Dad’s blessing) to use his Dad’s wedding band for his ring, and was considering using his Mom’s as my wedding band. In the end, he decided that he wanted to combine the two rings to keep them together. I did a quick search for artists in Vancouver, and Condesa was the only location I contacted. After giving us a breakdown of the best ways to combine the two types of gold and making a design plan, they did a beautiful job of integrating the rings together. The final ring is just gorgeous. My husband and I visited Condesa Jewelry Expertise a few weeks ago for repairs on a couple of items. Even though David was not available, Mia was most helpful, and shared the quotes for repairs promptly. We were both pleased with the quality of the work. At our next visit, my husband asked for his wedding ring to be redesigned, and is very happy with the result. We like the face to face consultation with David and his obvious pride in his craftsmanship. This place is amazing ! David was extremely nice. Three weeks before my wedding I had a bike accident and got hit by a car. My engagement ring got damaged. I was worried about taking it somewhere to be fixed since i have heard some sad stories of rings stones or diamonds been replaced I also didn't know if it would be ready for the big day. David and his team were very helpful they got it repaired and polished within a week ! It's like new again ! They are also very kind people and they are very professional ! The name of the shop is right on point !! Me encanta !!

I recently proposed to my fiancee with a ring that was my great grandmother's. The ring needed to be resized, and the band had worn down through regular use. Dave helped us and he was fantastic. He laid out our options, suggested which he would go with and why, and answered all our questions. Just two days later we have the ring back, it looks amazing, even looking for where the ring was adjusted we can't see any indication of the work, and it fits perfectly. We will definitely be going back to see Dave for our jewellery needs in the future!

I recently got engaged and needed to size down my ring about 1.5 sizes. I was a bit nervous to get it done because it’s a beautiful blue Montana sapphire, and I really wanted to make sure that the colour of the stone came back as it was - I’ve heard horror stories about stones changing colour due to heat. David and his team told me they have lots of experience working with Montana sapphires and they explained different processes of how they would protect the stone. I just picked up after 3 days - so fast - and it’s absolutely perfect.

My anklet breaks all the time. The first time it broke I went to the store and the customer service was TOP NOTCH !!! And they fixed it REALLY fast too ! They would tell you that It'd take about a week but then they'll message you 2 days later saying that it's ready for pick up. And they are willing to push it faster if you're in a hurry. My anklet then broke again, this time is a different joint... I messaged them and they offered to fix it for free T_T 100% recommend this store than any other !

David and his team at Condesa Jewelry fixed my wife's gold necklace, resized her engagement ring and made a custom wedding band for me. They are super easy to communicate with, set realistic timelines and delivery a perfect end product. We didn't even ask but they polished all our jewelry before returning it to us which was a really nice touch. It was the first jewelry shop I felt full confidence in whatever service they were providing. They are a great bunch and I'd strongly recommend them.

Update: had some polishing done today to our custom items from Aug 2021, and Mia took care of concerns with one piece that I had. They fit us in in a day when they were swamped, and did amazing work, with wonderful aplomb. Mia is an absolute gem and I'm so happy to have had the chance to deal with her. Aug 2021: David does lovely work and is easy to work with and communicate with. Just remember that custom takes longer and can get derailed sometimes, but in the long run totally worth it!!

Brought in a Chrome Hears bracelet with 2 links with bad soldering, porosity and cracks. Mia went through the whole process with me and explained how the previous jeweler did a poor job on the bracelet. Received my bracelet back within 4 days and the bracelet looks like new with an amazing job. The price is extremely reasonable and the whole team is amazing at what they are doing. Highly recommend Condesa as this is probably the only place that I can trust when it comes to jewelry repair!

I went in to Condesa jewelers to see if i could get two diamond bracelets joined together. David indicated that it would be a difficult job but he took it on anyways. I had to return after a few of the soldered joints came apart on the bracelet (2x). He was more than willing to re-do (reinforce) the bracelet; trying different ideas each time until it finally worked. David is friendly, cooperative, and very skilled in his work. I would highly recommend him and his team at Condesa!

Have you ever had the experience of taking an instant liking to someone? I found David very helpful, interested and creative. Later I met Mia and she too had good ideas and a perspective I appreciated. I had a vintage ring redesigned. David was efficient, artistic and able to readily revise and adjust designs. I have a beautiful "new" ring at a reasonable price; designed with an eye for quality and uniqueness. Condesa will be my "go to" jeweller and I shall spread the word.

This shoppe is amazing. I had two rings with seriously thinning bands. I gave David two other old rings I couldn't wear any more to use the material from. I was told it would be about a week. I mentioned one ring was my wedding band and left the rings with David. I got a voice mail message at about 4:30 pm the same afternoon saying my rings were ready. I picked them up the next day. Amazing service. The rings look fantastic. Excellent workmanship. I highly recommend them.

Seriously amazed at the work David and his team have done for me. I brought a few pieces in for repair, one of which was my grandfathers wedding band with unusual detailing, that he had to get cut off. The cut created a squished, uneven split. I had been wearing it regardless and the ring eventually split entirely in half. It now looks as if it'd never been damaged, and his pricing was reasonable as well. I needed my engagement ring re-sized and I wanted to re-design an old ring from my grandparents to go along side it. I received an excellent service and recommendations from David, who is a very experienced gemologist and designer. He quickly altered the size of my ring, and then provided design options for the new one via CAD images. Good communications throughout the process made me feel at ease and I am very happy with the end result!

My fiancé had my engagement ring custom made here and despite a couple of hiccups with post production alterations, I would highly recommend Condesa. My ring is beautiful and well crafted and David and his team were great; both with my partner through the design/production of the ring and with myself in our dealings afterwards. We were nervous looking for someone to do the repairs as the ring has some intricate detailing near the bend. I took a chance and brought them some necklaces that were broken and had been told by numerous jewellers that it could not be fixed . These guys were able to fix my old broken necklaces without any issues , they have great customer service and are very knowledgeable. I’m lucky to have found them they are a hidden gem for sure

I asked David to change the design on a necklace with glass beads my partner bought in Murano Italy . He was trying to find a silver cap for the necklace but ended up making one . Now the piece is much easier to fasten and less finicky . David did an amazing job and I would highly recommend his skills and experience .

David and the team did a wonderful job on resizing my wedding ring. The ring is white and yellow gold with a layered/beveled cross section. It had to be cut with metal added to make it larger but there's no perceptible seam and the ring looks like new.
