They promise to come out and then never show up. On the 3rd day of promising they arrived at 5pm on a Friday... then told us that it’s 5pm and they clock off at 5pm.... why even bother coming then? They then said first thing Monday so we waited and waited. At 11am I called the reception who asked if they had not come yet? She said she would ask them to call me. At 2pm I called again. She was now confused and could not understand why they had not called after she gave them the message. At 4:30pm I received a missed call while on another call. After listening to numerous poor excuses I asked to speak to the owner... I was told he had gone home already. Pathetic customer service. Would highly recommend that others do not waist their time.

Constantia Electrical has superb professionalism and great as resolving the electrical issue. An unresolved major electrical issue caused by the installation of DSTV of which they resolved. We had 3 previous electricians that were unable to find the issue which caused our main to trip constantly and believe me, my husband and I tried various things for the route cause. They have awesome listening skills, patience and understood our frustration regarding the constant problem which we were unaware would have caused an electrical fire. Well done ! Would definitely use their services again!

Over the years we have only used Constantia Electrical for all our Electrical requirements and will continue to use them. We understand the ups and downs of being in an Industry like their's and us being subbies in the Building Industry, sometimes we slip up too, however, their staff are always polite and will always explain why there may have been an issue. With recent load-sheddings and now lock-down, we totally understand the difficulties some companies are suffering and will continue to support Constantia Electrical. We got quotes from 3 other companies and Constantia Electrical was the best and most detailed. At the time of quoting they also recommended we source our fittings and fixtures from Plumstead Electrical and again these were the best prices out of all the places we had looked at before. Arranged the work to be done on a specific day and they arrived on time and finished the work by end of day. Very satisfied with the service and won't hesitate to use them again.

Saturday evening 22:00 we were quietly watching TV when the power tripped. I phoned Constantia Electrical Works for an emergency call out. Samuel responded within 20 minutes. We never ascertained for certain what caused the problem, but we nevertheless received prompt and professional advice and service. I LOVE people that talk the talk AND walk the walk. I cannot speak for quality of work, as I opted not to have the job done by Constantia Electrical. My experience is more about customer centricity. I did not recieve my quote within the agreed timelines as given by the company, quite a number of days after the fact. I was also promised call backs, to no avail. I have no reason to doubt their quality of work, but treating your customers poorly is enough to turn me away for good.

We’ve used Constantia Electrical over several years and highly recommend them for their excellent service and extensive electrical knowledge. Most recently, the team disconnected live wires and plugs during a renovation and then reconnected, thereafter. They also replaced a faulty dimmer switch and installed new lights. Always a pleasure and extremely trustworthy; our go-to electrical provider.
