I visited on a Wednesday afternoon. Staff was very pleasant and responsive to my needs. They explained how to arrange for documentation needed for future travel plans. I noted other, very critical reviews. Maybe those visitors didn’t see/use the intercom to request entry (shown at left in photo above). In my limited experience, in-person visits are preferable for routine business. Walk-ins are apparently readily accepted here. Staff noted that for the semi-complex trip I’m planning, my document requests should be initiated approximately 3-4 months prior to travel. They also verified that the pandemic has complicated some diplomatic channels, reinforcing my experiences with another embassy (that’s in San Francisco). I’m duly impressed at the respectful and informative tone of multiple staff here, including the consul (with whom I met very briefly for clarification of official processes). My visit here was very encouraging, and I look forward to my visit(s) to Bangladesh ahead.
I had a very pleasant experience at the Consulate General of Bangladesh Los Angeles. We went there for our passport renewal and all of the staffs were very helpful. We arrived on a Friday before a long weekend at around 12 pm when many staffs had already left for Jumma prayer. But still they managed to help us with our fingerprinting and the remaining procedures for the renewal. We also received our passport within 3 weeks which was a very reasonable amount of time. (Special thanks to Mamun vai for his cordial support) Also, during our visit we saw a lady who was unsure how to follow the steps to renew her passport. She had basic questions like how to go to the website, how to download the forms, how to fill them up, etc. But the consulate staffs were patient and answered most of her questions nicely. They even guided her through some of the steps to fill up the forms. It was very good to see such a nice gesture which is quite unusual in many government offices these days.
Having experienced multiple government agencies back home in Bangladesh, I would say Bangladesh Consulate in Los Angeles is undoubtedly the top notch agency. The service they provide within their limited resource is unparalleled as compared to anything I have seen from government agencies. The person who helped me with my e-passport was cordial, patient, friendly and helpful. He even came out and opened the restroom doors for me. I felt they are quite understaffed, yet they are very efficient in what they do. I saw him answering tens of phone calls and helping another person while helping me with the case. And yet no sign of annoyance or irritations. He had the same positive attitude to everyone. I would not be able to keep that cool if I was in his shoes. And I only had to spend less than half an hour here! Hats off to him and the whole Bangladesh Consulate LA team! And thank you for what you do!
After being refused entry on my flight for lack of a visa, since the visa on arrival apparently was discontinued without notice, I went into the Bangladesh consulate the next day, Monday, with my application and money order. I had called first when the office first opened and got a quick callback specifying money order application amount and documentation needed. I was also notified that due to Ramadan the office would be closed from Wednesday through the rest of the week. In order to arrive for the wedding I was attending I needed to have my visa by noon the next day for my afternoon flight. Upon hearing my desperate request the staff greatly expedited my application and had my visa ready for me by noon as promised. Outstanding effort on their part to assist me, and it is greatly appreciated.
I called on March 8th about 2 pm to find out if my Passport is ready to be picked up. Gentlemen answered my phone and I was not expecting any service as my previous experience was full of rudeness from the staff but this time I was amazed with the politeness and professionalism as well as helping voice to notify me that my passport is ready to be picked up. Gentleman took less than 2 minutes to check to inform me. I'm so proud of such a good behavior of my beloved country's consulate office. I thank from my heart to whomever made such a big difference in the system. I wish I got the name of the person who was such a Gentlemen. He deserved to be recognized to be an example. Please keep it up and make us feel proud of our country in this foreign land. Thank you.
Just wanted to express my sincere gratitude to the team at Bangladesh consulate General at Los Angeles. It has always been an excellent experience with various services that LA consulate provides. Recently, I visited the LA consulate office in order to compete necessary paperwork for power of attorney services. I was so grateful for the efficiency and responsiveness of everyone (local and deputed official from Bangladesh) particularly one outstanding personality, Mr. Ashik that I want to mention at this moment. He is always super helpful and professional not only to some specific person but also to everyone who is present there. Unbelievable service. I wish every organization would have someone like him. Keep up the good work LA consulate team!
I visited the office to apply for ePassport in January, 2023. The staffs were very helpful. I had a complicated case of lost passport and not having the number of the latest (but expired) passport. They sorted it out and I was able to apply. However, the application process (data input in computer) was not very efficient (the staff doing it didn't seem very well trained for the job). Also, as for the application fee, I got two slightly different figures from two staffs when I asked, so be sure to double check it. Regarding telephone response: It's very difficult to get hold of anyone in the passport application section. I tried probably 7 times without any success. Previously they were very quick to reply to emails, but recently I got no reply.
I came here with the whole family and elderly grandmother. The gentleman working here was so kind and helped us with all the paperwork and documentation. We did not come with any documents as there was so specific information online. They were very helpful and tried to get everything done in the same visit so I dont have to bring my elderly grandmother multiple times. I was really happy to get a great customer service experience from the Consulate General of Bangladesh. Things that can be improved: We called multiple times, never got ahold of anyone by phone. Another thing is the website, more detailed instructions and required documents/copies would be helpful and could really speed up the process. But overall a pretty good experience.
I don't know why people (specially BD) like to be so negative and ask for everything right away, I found the personnel in this office very much helpful. I met 3 personnel at the office throughout my process and every one of them I found polite and answering all my queries appropriately. They have even given me the information about how I could save the cost for urgent renewal by themselves which I was unaware of. You have to understand it's not them to setup the facility to provide you fast food service. I did not give the 5th star because I still need to call them up to get the updates (it's not their fault but the setup) otherwise, be appreciative and I guarantee you will get the top notch service.
I've had very positive experience at this consulate general office. This place gets very busy, especially on Mondays, but the staffs at the consular section are courteous and helpful. I'd like to specifically call out Mr. Ashik, who is extremely helpful and always goes above and beyond to serve the needs of the applicants. In general, most of the applicants (including myself) tends to have inadequate and incomplete paperwork, but Mr. Ashik always tries his best to help out by providing useful suggestions and dealing with utmost patience, which leads to a unique and rare customer experience. This office is a huge positive exception to the services that we're used to receive from government offices.
I see some negative reviews, and while can't comment on their personal experiences, mine at this LA office was above and beyond my expectation as a first-time goer. I really appreciate the employees' honest eagerness to help. I even saw some people coming in with bunch of issues/errors on their passport applications (and with some attitudes too), but I saw the employees trying hard to resolve them. I got my e-passport delivered at home in a total of 12 days after applying! 5-star for their cordial interaction and professionalism. But the website needs proper maintenance; some tabs and links simply do not work, so I had to give 4 stars. but Kudos to LA office team for their great work!
I recently sent a passport for NVR. I forgot to add passport pictures. Contacted the consulate and the officer told me to send the pictures separately. Eventually both packages were delivered. They immediately contacted me after opening the first package to alert me regarding missing documents. Next day they confirmed that all the documents are in place. I spoke to Mr. Mohsin. Made a request to expedite the processing as I have travel plans. He assured me that they will mail it back to me by Monday. This is service above and beyond any reasonable expectation. I have always found consular staff friendly, helpful and courteous. Keep up the great job!
I must say that their service was nothing short of excellent. Right from my initial contact with them over the phone, their professionalism and sincere eagerness to assist left a lasting impression. Despite my initial hesitation regarding using the postal service, they courteously convinced me to forego a 7-hour drive for the same service! Overall they excelled in completing the entire process seamlessly, resulting in an outstanding experience. However, as a feedback, the consulate should accept alternative forms of payment, particularly credit cards. In today's age, it seems impractical to only except cashier's check.
I need to fill out my NVR online but their website is down for weeks. What kind of people run this BS website anyway . So I went there to submit my NVR( hand written) form because online form was down, but this guys was nuts and said to me that they don’t accept form without a barcode at the end. I do understand that but this guys have knowledge about their website been down for weeks. When I explain it is not working, they replied to me that I need to go to a expert person.LOL. Guys are running this office have no knowledge and education. I’m really sorry for this comment. Some one has to fix this problem ASAP.
I actually have connections with the foreign ministry in Dhaka. But, I chose not to use it. I live in SF and had sent my passport for an NVR stamp. The past consul general, had got it done within two days and returned my passport just fine. I called today for a visa for my wife, and spoke with the visa officer Mr. M. He was very polite and professional and gave me options for us to follow. I told him that we needed to fly by the end of the week and he assured me we will get the passport back by then. I have nothing but positive things about this consulate. Kudos to the Bangladesh Consulate in LA.
They require an online application but the online application doesn't work. It's impossible to get past page one. Clicking on "Save & Next" does nothing. Edit: The reply here says to try again, however, I've been trying for hours every day for last week. I am not talking about momentary 404 errors or those times that the page takes forever to load -- this is specifically about page one: if you fill out the form on page one and click "Save & Next", nothing happens. It doesn't load (no spinning symbol), there's no 404 error, nothing. It's like clicking on a blank spot on the page.
Horrible Service, I had to go there to get a new machine readable passport, first of all the employees working at this consulate are very unprofessional it took them more than an hour to fill out one page of information into their computer system, I paid express fees to get the new passport within 30 days and now it's been almost two months and I still don't have my passport. The listed local phone number no one answers at all i have been trying since last week everyday without any luck. I guess I just have to drive down there and kick some ass. Horrible customer service!!!!
Despite a few roars of discomfort about the services of Bangladesh Missions around the world , I personally found the Bangladesh Mission in Los Angeles lead by Head of Mission, Ms Samia Anzum and her staffs specially Mr Habibur Rahman's service to the ex patriots of Bangladesh, extremely satisfactory. They all were very courteous , professional, and extremely helpful to the needs of ex patriots. Thus living up to the expectations of the people. I highly commend and appreciate the great services of BD Consulate in Los Angeles and wish all of them best of luck.
Just had my passport renewed from this office. They were helpful in answering all my queries and delivered on time. The whole process took about a month which was surprisingly short, at least it was quicker than what I anticipated. They answered their phone every-time I called. I don't understand about all the complains in the previous reviews. I don't know how their service was in the past, but I am quite satisfied with the service that I was provided with. Quick Tip: call around lunch time, you might get a quicker response on phone.
I have obtained tourist visas through the consulate multiple times at this point. I have to say it used be less organized, but things progressed and improved tremendously. I personally never had an issue with the communication here and always welcomed nicely. They have a very good visa officer, his name is Moshin, he is very friendly and helpful. I highly encourage do not pay attention to old reviews, I understand why people may have posted certain feedback but now the consulate has a new look and lots of new people working.
In-Person Service 5 Stars / Website ZERO Star I recently applied for the NVR visa at the Bangladesh Consulate in LA. In-person assistance by Mr. Mohsen at the consulate was informative, precise, and timely. However, the online application was quite confusing. Moving through the online application was quite time-consuming and frustrating at times since the web page continuously froze up. It took me 3 weeks to get through the Online Application. Mr. Mohsen gets a FIVE STAR and the lousy webpage gets ZERO STAR
I wish this place provided better professional service. Nobody answers the phone which is unacceptable. Unless you know the staff's personal number. The consulate needs better staffing. The service itself is alright when you visit in-person but the lack of communication and info on their website makes you question the visit. Of course, not everyone lives in Southern California. I've had delay in receiving my mail and probably would have a longer delay had I not called for it. Please improvize your service.
I applied for a visa 5 weeks for a scientific program from 1-6 Feb 2015 and still do not have it. I was invited by the ICDDR,B, Dhaka formally and my Institution does extensive work there and provides funding and training to Bangladeshi scientists liberally. Phone calls are not answered and emails bounce. The embassy in DC does not follow up either. I guess I must noiw make a trip from Seattle to LA, for God knows how many days. Unprefessional, and undiplomatic conduct.
I just called them to ask about my passport renewal situation. As a Bangladeshi, I did not have much expectation from them. But to my utter surprise, they picked up my call in the first dial. I told my full name and was responded immediately with the information about my passport. The guy whom I talked to was very respectful and helpful. I must say, this is one of the best service I received even on American standard. Good job Bangladesh consulate! Keep it up!
disappointed. service time longer that is unnecessary. I missed trip to Bangladesh as they had my passport and they would not respond either by phone or email. This is ridiculous, their service is so bad. this is an illegal practice of holding on to someone’ passport for this long. I never seen any unprofessional place like this. We may try bribing because it is works as Bangladesh in every government sector.so then we will get better service from them .
I recently got my passport renewed from this consulate. The reviews on this place did cause me some concerns but my overall experience was quite smooth. They answered all my phone calls, I guess I made around four inquiry calls, and managed to deliver within a month's time. It would still be great if they could come up with a procedure to send e-mail based updates to all users. Currently, you don't get much of a feedback once you send in the forms.
To those who gave one star, "What do you expect?" They are the government officials of Bangladesh, they have to maintain that reputation. When receiving service these same people expects superior customer service from others but when it comes to providing good service they are very shy, what a hypocrite. They differently deserves gold medal for the worst customer service. We may try bribing because it works in Bangladesh in every government sector.
I must appreciate the office personnel of the consulate general of Bangladesh LA. I sent my passport with lots of mistakes first for renewal and then to get a Bangladeshi visa after being a citizen. They called me several times, fixed my problems from their end, and talked like my relatives. Surprisingly they called me back then I left a voice message with no hope. I had lots of bad experiences with the DC embassy but the LA office is really nice.
On my experience they are very good customer service and helpful and Very Friendly. Last 06/18/22 was came to Las Vegas at Dhaka home’s office to help our community paper work and all other things. It’s was amazing experience with them. They are doing very well work. I would like to say that just give them time & be passion and need right paperwork to do the process. Thank you for Everyone at Consulate General of Bangladesh Los Angeles, CA.
Terrible service Phone calls and emails are not answered The level of incompetence from the staff is appalling Somebody needs to look into the functionality of this office. If the level of service is so bad then it's better to close this office and have people go to a different location. On a different note, I am really intrigued by the 5 star reviews. We must have gone to different offices or the 5 stars are terrible reviews.
The most stupid people are in this place working. No respect, no knowledge. They rush you in the phone. They dont mention their name. I will report this consulate to the proper management so they can hire a decent, knowledgeable and respectful representatives. Whoeve gave a postive review, are maybe their employees. What a shame! That explains why Bangladesh is a poor country. Full of self-ignorant, corrupt, stupid people.
Extra ordinary support provided by the team. The team came to Oregon to do NVR, E-passport, dual citizenship etc. I was really amazed by their cordial behaviour and professionalism. Deputy Consul General Waliur vai, Mamun vai, Ashiq vai and rest of the team, worked really hard. Consulate team finished 82 E passport and 90 other services within 1 and half days. I am really grateful. Please do come every year in Oregon.
Ekhane onek bhalo manush (there are amazing people here)! I had an urgent visa-related problem and they assisted me in a very timely fashion. I am especially very grateful to Sahed (sp?) for his professional response to my query and to the rest of this consulate for their communication and accessibility. The new location is also great with a wonderful cafe and breakfast place right next door. Onek dhonnobad apnaderke!
I don't even want to give them a single star. First of all, took forever to answer the call and when they did I don't know who the hell he was, doesn't know how to behave and talk. Didn't even listen to what I wanted to ask or say, he was screaming like crazy as if calling them for informations (which is not available in their website) was my crime! Seriously I just don't get how they qualify for this type of jobs.
PLEASE READ: People writing the good reviews are the employees. Please note they are extremely hostile and I will take all steps necessary to make sure they do not get away with their abhorrent behavior any longer. They seem to forget that you are paying for their services and that their behavior warrants termination of their jobs because they discourage people from entering their office. Its absolutely demeaning.
This is a message to the supervisors of Mohammad Mohshinul Hoque. Mohammad recently assisted my family with a visa situation. Previously, we have had bad customer service with the Bangladesh Consulate Office in Los Angeles. He had really great customer service, and we were highly satisfied with the way he handled our case. We appreciate all that he has done for us and want to send our highest praises about him.
I frequently see Bangladeshi expatriates are complaining against the irregularities in various BD consulates. Before going there I was bit scared. However, after going there I was amazed by their service. Me and my wife applied for e-passport from LA consulate on August 30, 2022. They were very cordial, helpful and professional. Really felt the Bangladeshi vibe after going there. Please keep up your good work.
I had a great experience in this consular office getting attestation of a POA. I emailed them my queries prior to my visit. They called back and answered my questions in details over phone. I found the consular waiting area to be well kept and clean. There was about 15-20 mins wait time before I got called into the service desk. The staffs promptly took care of my paperwork. Excellent customer care service!
The have my passport for nearly 3 months, I missed an important business trip to China as they had my passport and they would not respond either by phone or email. This is ridiculous, their service is so bad. I will involve US State Department if I don’t hear back. Easiest thing would be to decline visa and return my passport, this is an illegal practice of holding on to someone’ passport for this long.
We all used to praise this consulate. As someone born in Bangladesh, this consulate was my pride & joy. They'd answer the phone & get your job done. Now no one picks up the phone...Even the operators.. I've been trying to get hold of them for the last few months..No one responds to my emails or phone calls...I hope they look into it and change their behavior....They represent a race in a foreign land!
I have used the service provided by Consulate General of Bangladesh and I am extremely satisfied with the quality. I needed attestation for power of attorney at a high priority. Consulate General office (Ashiq bhai) responds were extremely helpful at every step and made sure it was done and delivered to us in timely fashion. The service I got was fantastic and taken with utmost care. Thanks!
Excellent service. My MRP was lost in the transit by FedEX. I got all the necessary help from the consulate officials to retrieve another MRP as soon as possible. You can always reach them via phone. They always try to provide you with the best possible advices, if needed. Their professionalism, service, and willingness to help other is second two none! I am very grateful for their services.
My experience with LA consulate was fantastic. My wife's passport was issued in 2 weeks. It was not even express processing! Both the officers whom we met at consulate were very cordial and we had a pleasant talk. Even applying for passport renewal was quick. We filled application online and we were in and out within 30 mins. I am very happy with their service. Thank you.
It was great experience to while I applied for passport renew at LA consulate during Covid. Execution and follow-up was awesome. All the people from consulate are very helpful and always available to help. I would like to mention about Mr. Ashik who is super helpful in numerous occasion to entire PDX community from Oregon. Keep up the good work LA, BD consulate team.
The consulate general Ashiq bhai showed a great level of professionalism when I went there to get my e-passport. I would suggest any Bangladeshi people living on the west coast to go here to get their work done. My e-passport paperwork went very smooth and I am glad that we have a consulate general who walks you thru the process as it can become stressful.
I got my NVR in 4 business days and everything was Ok. I handed them a return paid envelope. Many, many Thanks and appreciate to that employee who rang me before he send it to me, so I was able to track my package. Tons of bad reviews on them. Come on guys, this is a government office and you know how it goes, when we deal with a government employee.
I heard from many people about the excellent service of the LA Bangladesh Embassy. I did not hear it wrong. The quality of service I got from them went beyond my expectation. They reached out to me a couple of times in regard to one of my issues and they did their best to solve it. I appreciate their service. Thank you and best wishes!
Amazing experience Alhamdulillah! It took less than an hour to complete all the formalities. Also, I have received the Passport in timely manner. I must mention the name of Mr. Ashik of consulate office, whose earnest cooperation, hospitality, and expertise made everything very smooth. Greatly appreciate the LA team ! Good luck.
It has been always a great experience with all services at LA consulate for the last several years. Folks from consulate are very helpful and always available to help. Specifically would like to mention about Mr. Ashik who is always super helpful to our Portland community from Oregon. Keep up the good work LA consulate team!
I was so happy with the service. I lost my passport and in a short notice I needed to do my NVR. I talked to Mr.Mohsin and he was very helpful. I submitted all my documents via email and went to LA for half day. Mr. Mohsin and all other staff helped me get the NVR as early as possible. Thank you for the wonderful service.
I have submitted an application for birth certificate in early February & now it’s April. Still waiting, no update. Couldn’t get any reply with multiple email, can’t reach over phone- either it’s not picked up or operator ask to call later! Birth certificate is now becoming an urgent situation. What should I do now?
I had a very good experience with the CGofBangladesh at LA. Had to reach out to CG office for two purposes: 1) NVR: received in a week 2) e passport received in two weeks on urgent basis Just fill out your application properly, add all the necessary documents as mentioned on website, you are then on Safe hand!
They renewed our Passports via mailing all documents. It was really helpful and time saving! BUT***** only think I will suggest to The Honorable Consulate Genaral to hire professional employees those who know how to TALK and WORK professionally!!!!! Please don’t put our Bangladesh down! Good luck …
C'mon people, don't be so rude. I have renewed my passport as well as my wife's passport without any issue. Every time I called got professional response and to my knowledge they are trying extremely hard to provide good service. Let's keep our frustration aside and rate what exactly they deserve.
Amazing service. I have been to over 10 different BD Embassies/Consulate Offices and this was by far the best experience I ever had. The staff were very professional, friendly, well mannered, and eager to help. I was done with my e-passport application process within 30min without any issues.
I called to the consulate office on December 27 around 1430 PST and I have received very pleasant experience. The person received the phone was very helpful and cordial. He answered all of my questions in professional manner and provided me a lot of information regarding my query. Thank you.
Worst experience I ever had in any government facility. If you call no one pick up the phone, when you get there wait at the street and no one opens the door or let you go inside even though they are open. Am been waiting outside for like more than 30 minutes. This is how the treats you.
They consistently changed what they were telling us, it took them a very long time to get back to us, never called us back when they said they would. Had to book a same day round trip just to get our passports back, without the visas. If there was a 0 stars I would give it that.
Really satisfied with the services we have been getting past 20 years. These people genuinely wants to help and addresses each and everyone’s individual needs with patience. People at the Front desk are very friendly and helpful. Thanks for your services,we appreciate …
The service was really good. Ofcourse it took little time because of my papers incorrect spelling, but Mr. Ashiq helped us a lot and solved our problems with care. Even after we left, whenever I needed any informations, I contacted him and he gave the necessary informations.
They might need little bit more training on customer service but overall I'm impressed how fast their service was to get my NVR. They probably need to upgrade their website since it doesn't work perfectly but it does the job. Assalamualaikum and I'm proud being a Bangladeshi
This massage for “Nazmul Islam Bokul” He’s a very friendly person and heard worker he tried to helping me out thank you so much for your service. And all of the staffs and admin are very friendly, professional and helpful. I appreciate that thanks all of you guys.
I do not understand what kind of office is this, employees are so uneducated im sure they did not study enough to do this job please hire new staff who can speak fluent english and can have great personality with good behave looking forward to hear some good news.
Bad attitude, disrespectful, service time longer that is unnecessary. Because 6 people working there and I am the only customer in two hours but still they hang out me 4 hours. They don't answer any phone calls, they don't reply any email. Totally horrible place.
Great experience at Los Angeles Consulate during our e-passport enrollment to delivery. I felt they are little understaffed in the passport related works division. But they were working really hard to provide us service and answer calls from all over the states.
They never answer call. Terrible service, they don't even know how to behave with people. I called them 10 times for an urgent information but no one answered. Government make foreign reserves from us, and don't even get minimum service. And no one care for it.
It was an excellent experience. Everything went smooth and professional way. All task done within a hour. I applied for E-Passport, Mr. Ashik collect my documents with care and Mr. Habib processed all other tasks. Received E-Passport within 26 days.
Calling for last 3 days, morning and afternoon, no one pick up the phone. I am not sure why they are even there when cannot answer a phone call. They should just close this office and take all these lazy unproductive employees out of foreign service
Just called for some help about dual nationality & i don't know who answered my call. Whoever is he , he was a very stupid and unrespectfull guy. I am really sorry to say that they are very ignorent ppl may be and they should upgrate this service.
Excellent service!!!! I did passport renewal one time and NVR for my kid in another time. Both of the times I have good experience with them. May be this is the only BD consulate office in US who pick up phones regularly and act professionally!!
I must say their service is much better than NY BD consulate office and much faster from their side. They are much more cordial, responsive and understand the needs. It is the Bangladesh passport office itself that makes all the delay.
The worst bengali man I have ever encountered works here at the front desk. They rarely pick up the phone and when they do, they hang up when they can't understand a question. All the bengali's that work here need to be fired ASAP.
I received my renewed my passport in November 2021. Due to a server issue the passport office in Bangladesh, my passport got a bit delayed while printing. However, the officials in LA Consulate really helped through the process.
Such a bad service and irresponsible employees I had ever experienced in my life. People are extremely irresponsible and rude, they are not ready to listen to the customers. Employees do not know how to talk and how to behave.
They came here in Utah for providing their service related to E passport. For student like us it was very helpful. I have got my E passport in less than 1 month after giving the biometrics. Their service was very impressive.
I don't know why some of these folks are negative. Regarding my daughter's NVR, the staff answered all my questions politely. They delivered her "stamped" passport on time. Keep up the great job. Bangladesh is proud of you!
i had some queries, and though they had to tell me to ultimately call the dc embassy, they kindly talked to me with as much advice as possible....... a far cry from the call i had to endure at the dc embassy
I have great experience at the LA consulate thus far. They always answer phone calls and does walk-in services without any major waiting time. Everybody was very pleasant and helpful. I wish them best!
Brother Ashik has been always helpful. Even if it’s after hours, he picked the phone calls and provided information. Thanks for your tremendous efforts to get the passport of mine in a very short time
The gentleman who helped me, named Ashique, he was very polite, gentle. and very helpful. To me, he is an asset to the Bangladesh Consulate Office. I am very happy with his explanations and services.
Super rude and unprofessional. I guess they like to think they are king. I wanted to travel Bangladesh but later I decided to travel India. Much better professional and friendly environment!!!
We have been there multiple times for urgent and non-urgent services. People working there are very helpful and kind. They try their best to make things done. Overall Extraordinary Service.
Very bad service. They don’t pick up the phone . If picked up the phone they are busy with there own conversation. Don’t know how to work unprofessional peopleAnd very rude behaviour
I loved our consulate service. There service was quite efficient and friendly.special Thanks to Mohammed Nazmul islam And Salute all of our consulate team members and best of luck..
He is simply outstanding! His dealing with the the guest is gret byat. He retreat people with respect and try to help people at his level best. I wish his success and progress.
Fast and convenient. Just make sure to complete your part by promptly following the instructions and give the consulate a call once you see the tracking showing delivered!
I haven’t seen any more unprofessional place then this. Cant provide service on due time.Dont know what they are doing. Everytime it gives me trauma to visit this place.
Very efficient and cooperative staff who enabled us to achieve our objective in the shortest time possible. Keep up the good work and many thanks for your help.
Friendly staff and very quick response to queries both over phone and messenger. Also helpful and quick service when you go over there for passport biometrics.
Really efficient and super helpful. Especially got help from an agent name Ashik Mahmud. He helped me like an angel. So many thanks for the help and support.
Never answer phone, not sure how they keep their job. This really affect the reputation of Bangladeshi people. Management needs to take some serious action.
Very few employees, and the place seems busy receiving incoming calls and responding to voice-mails. No prior appointment required. Their service was good.
This is my second times, I have visited Consulate General of Bangladesh Los Angeles. All the staffs and admin are very friendly, professional and helpful.

last 3 days trying to talk never answer the phone looks they are closed or sleeping their office hours.please go back home.should put 0 star .
Could not expect more. The people here are generous and kind. They realized the urgency and worked extra mile. 5 star is still not enough.
They don't understand what kind of grave danger they're putting themselves in!! None of the phones are answred & no respect to any people.
Service was impressive. I wanted to renew my passport and it took short amount of days. Those guys are very friendly. Great place.
