The food & service was poor, looks like there is a change in management. We would frequent it often, but now will not go back. Management was not apologetic & appeared entitled when informed about the poor quality of the food & not the right order. To your response let me please inform that when I asked the girl serving for veg options, she was not sure, so she got the chef, who confirmed that there was a mistake in the menu & one of the burger should have makers as V Due to my sensory issue, I requested you to please have the service door not banging, which was ridiculed right in front of me & continued with the loud bang noise, which should never be the case with any kitchen service doors. You could have moved us away on another table. We requested chips on the side, as the sandwich dnt come with chips we were informed, we clarified 3 times when the girl asked, so that we could share it being a vegetarian. You suggested to take the plates back & get the chips out in a seperate bowl, even after we said the chips are cold, you dnt offer to make fresh ones, only a small few of them in the portion. We eventually left the chips on our plate uneaten. We politely reiterated things to the serving girl each time she dnt understand & checked with the chef or yourself & we even politely mentioned to you at the time of payment & you dismissed everything saying that the chef is excellent & our service is great. So as a paying customer we were not even acknowledged of any grief that this might have caused. Not all customers will have the same experience & few of us are differently abled & need to be heard & actioned, but just saying sorry & not doing anything about it. I've been a regular customer of Corner Cafe 26 for about five years. I keep coming back because every experience has been consistently positive. Despite enduring floods, Covid, Delays with renovations, and other personal circumstances, the cafe still stands strong. The staff always makes a great effort to make the place feel like home. The staff greets me with a smile and is very accommodating. The food, cooked by Yan and the other chefs, is always delicious. However, their French toast stands out and is unmatched by any other cafe I've visited. What sets Corner Cafe 26 apart is its amazing customer service. Even when I had an issue with a different dish, the staff quickly addressed it and ensured my satisfaction. Their coffee is always great, and the baristas, Carol and Sarah, are experts at making delicious coffee. Everyday, especially on their busiest days, like Sundays, the waitresses - especially Luna - are friendly, efficient, and welcoming. I've seen them handle difficult customer situations gracefully and professionally, which shows how much they care about their customers. It's evident that Corner Cafe 26 takes pride in exceptional food, customer service, and ensuring that every visit is a positive experience for everyone. Horrifically overpriced considering the questionable quality. I ordered a Vege Burger, this came with a side salad and a portion of chips. what i received was: two slices of evidently the cheapest supermarket bread tomato, lettuce, 1 slice of tinned beetroot what could very loosely be called a 'veggie patty' some sort of crumbed, indistinct, uniform veg paste. about 10 chips and a handful of leaves that even a cattle farmer would struggle to call a salad. To be fair none of it tasted bad and with a combined cost of ingredients of under a dollar they really did quite well, if i payed $6 for this meal in a backwood truck stop i would think that i got what i payed for what is completely unacceptable is to charge $16 for a dollar store mess on a plate. I will not be eating here again and will caution everyone i know to avoid eating here. I gave 2 stars instead of one because the large coffee was indeed served in a very large mug, and this pleased me. If you want a coffee in an enormous mug and you are not hungry this is the place for you.

Abysmal service and unprofessional management. I ordered 2 cups of coffee to have at the cafe (they also have a take away booth). 20 minutes later, no coffee but 3 other tables of customers that came and ordered after me were served. When I advised the owner/manager of this I was told that they were very busy. I said that them being busy isn't my problem - I've been waiting 20 minutes for two coffees and watching other tables get served before me. The manager said that if I didn't like it (who would?!?) I could leave since he doesn't have to put up with crap like that. Now, I don't mind waiting when I can see that a cafe is busy as this one was, but 'busy' means everyone waits equally NOT that one table waits 20 minutes and isn't served while one that came in 15 minutes later gets their order. It would be understandable if we were in an out of the way table, but the manager/owner had to walk past me to serve each and every one of those other tables. Needless to say, I won't be going back for more of that treatment.

SERVICE Friendly Menu and water upon arrival DRINKS Great presentation and aroma with coffee Delicious Chocolate milkshake FOOD Steak sandwich Spaghetti Bolognese Delicious fresh and full of taste. They have a good rangebof bread choices also. Which is a nice touch. My steak sandwich was of generous size with crispy chips and a fresh garden salad with french dressing. OVERALL The staff jog around in an effort to be prompt. The food certainly is made with passion and pride. The atmosphere has soft music and great food. Sit in or outside Table service Attentive staff Definitely try this cafe, its worth the time and the money. Well done Corner Cafe 26, I will be back.

Update : Since our first visit, we have tried to visit twice, unfortunately both time were disappointing. 2nd visit waited at the door for 10+ Min, told we had to wait for a table, which wasn't a problem. Then 5 more Min and we were told that the kitchen is too busy and it will be 50+ min for food. 3rd time we stood at the door for 10+ min and no one came and greet us. There were only 3 staffs at the front (1 making coffee, 1 at counter and 1 running around). We just stood there and not sure what's going on. Sure the food is good, the service is appalling and should just not cheap out and employ more staffs... ___ First time visit and pleasantly surprised. Tasty food with generous portions. It took a while for the food to arrive but we got there during a busy time. Overall a good place to try.

The food was amazing, the coffee was amazing; however, their timing of delivery was off. We went here for breakfast. My partner received her food five minutes before I did, and our coffees were delivered after we had started eating. The overall presentation of the cafe was very warm and inviting, we both enjoyed our time here. The service was exceptional. I don’t like mushrooms, but they came with my meal (big breakfast), and the employees were concerned there was something wrong with them… there wasn’t. I’m certain they actually care for the customer, which is nice. We will return again.

I came here with 2 others for a light breakfast and coffees and chose to share a meal with my partner. When the waitress asked if we were sharing the meal and I said yes, I was thoroughly surprised and impressed when she brought out our single meal divided into two plates! In a world where places shun you for taking up 3 people's worth of seating and only ordering 2 meals, this was a fantastic display of great customer service. Highly recommend!

I was glad i accidentally stumbled into this lovely cafe. They have my favourite coffee bean - Bellissimo, so the coffee was great, and came in a pretty cup! The staff were very attentive and even asked if i had any food alergies and checked to see if the food was ok, and it was very good. I have the crispy bacon omelette wrap with Vegemite! I particularly liked that they have a little library! Wonderful place to visit if you are in the area!

However, I was disappointed to see that the takeaway window had been removed during the renovations. I think the takeaway window gave the cafe a bit of street appeal. Ate here once before and food was okay. Today the egg and bacon dishes tasted like they had been cooked on a grill covered in rancid, burned grease. Pancakes were slightly mushy and uncooked inside. Coffees were fine. Waitress gave a 10% discount but $18/ea is still too much for bad food. We'll probably stick to coffee only from now on. Owner was polite and asked the waitress if she'd given a discount when she heard we were unhappy, but we were already half way out the door.

i absolutely adore this place!! been coming here for years now and the coffee and food is always reasonably priced and the service is always warm and welcoming. i genuinely love coming in before school (and now uni) and having a sit down coffee whilst going over my notes as a weekly treat for myself; furthermore there's never any rush for me to leave as they are endlessly accommodating. we stAn carol, she's my fav barista for sure <3

Decided to go for breakfast on a Sunday morning. As soon as we entered the premises we received a friendly greeting. The team were very friendly and helpful. We were brought a bottle of water once we were seated and placed our order. The breakfast was served a short time after ordering. The coffee was great and one of the best I have had. I would highly recommend a visit to Corner Cafe 26 as it is both good value and great service.

Went for brunch and ordered a large flat white and truffle scrambled eggs. The staffs were so accommodating. They were also apologetic since it was a busy hour. Although I waited for my ordered to be taken and be served, it was all worth it because of the kind service and most especially for the food and coffee. One of the best coffee shops in the neighborhood.

Had breakfast today and I won't be back. Coffee was bitter. My breakfast had a clump of hair in it from a cleaning cloth! I sent it back and was offered a refund, and a replacement meal. It still put me off my food! The table next to us had water dripping on it from out of a light switch, which seemed hazardous. Big meals if you're hungry and not pet friendly.

Big breakfast comes with a free coffee. This cafe sells the best large mocha in town. It is nice and cozy, the staff are friendly and modest and the service is attentive. U can sit here and watch the world go by tucked away in your little corner as it is on a junction. Other menu items are reasonably priced. U can hold a decent conversation as it is not too noisy due to the layout of the place

Never had a problem with this place. Coffee is around the best in the area - pretty awesome. Food pretty nice too. All those 1 star reviews are a bit susipicious to be honest and just makes me wonder of the calibre of people who leave them. I've worked retail before and there's a lot of arrogant people out there who think they're entitled to special treatment for just existing...

Delicious healthy food! I had the slow cooked beef over salad, which was fresh greens and roasted vegetables. I could eat here every day. Husband loved the mushroom croquets.

Haven't had food here, but was taken aback by the manner of the owner. Maybe it's down to her hesitant command of the english language, but she spoke to me in an overly familiar way, verging on insulting. As a result, I have not been back. The coffee is neither better nor worse than anywhere else. There is a cute beagle sitting outside though that redeems the place :-)

Absolutely awesome little cafe if you want a nice place to eat a well priced meal and get a solid coffee (try the affogato, it's gooood) lovely environment, friendly staff (if I bit too quick to ask if we are ready to order repeatedly haha) can't get over how well priced everything is for how high quality it is. 10/10 coming back whenever I'm in the area.

Great little Cafe on the corner, food was great, service is incredibly friendly. Only unfortunate thing is there's a set of traffic lights right outside the main doors which is rather loud but it's not that big a deal. The quality of food and service make up for it. Just paid $9:90 for a simple ham and cheese toastie on plain white bread, the kind of sandwich you’d feed to a hungry child that would cost next to nothing to make While I’m here might as well comment on the interior, ugly outdated green walls, an empty dirty fish tank. Don’t go here if you’re after an actual cafe experience

The team at Corner Cafe 26 are always incredibly attentive and the linguine carbonara was one of the best I've had. The pasta was hot which is a must, the bacon and mushrooms delicious. Just an all round great dish. Well done guys for making a good customer experience!

Food is amazing here. Tastes good and great presentation. Nice big cafe with street parking. Their menu is varied and comes fairly quickly. The people there are very friendly and work so hard. Good place to meet at Indooroopilly without having to go to the shopping centre and it’s walking distance from the train station.

Food was very good but the atmosphere not so much. Got a table and was waiting for a while,meanwhile people that came after me ordered and got their food. Once i got the food i could feel the pressure of trying to turn around the table so other people can sit. Would recommend that you organise the service a bit better.

Staff was friendly and offered very good customer service. We had a hot mocha and a hot chocolate. The size is very decent for the price and location. The mocha was pretty good. Hot chocolate is normal. Meal was fine but took a bit of time to prepare. Overall, we had a good experience here. Will be back for coffee.

Hidden gem in Indooroopilly and Taringa! Very reasonably priced little joint. Coffee was delicious! They use belissimo so the quality of coffee won’t disappoint. Food wise, portion was larger and ingredients are fresh. We will certainly come back. Service was lovely and friendly.

I tend to visit this cafe most mornings between university and work. Always good service and very good coffee. I occasionally have some food also, which never disappoints. If you’re in the area would give it a go. Only limitation is Parking nearby.

Popped in here on Sunday morning for a lazy breakfast. The cafe was quite busy, but the staff were very friendly and quick to get us a table. The serving sizes were generous and the variety of options available was great. Will definitely be back.

Now this is a busy little hub on a Saturday. I called in for a coffee and the delicious breakfast smells were making me hungry. Coffee was great and judging by the amount of people here, I'd say the food must be pretty good as well.

Great coffee; the best in the area in my opinion as it has a well rounded flavour with no unpleasant bitterness or overpowering fruity flavour. The staff are so warm and friendly too. Haven’t tried food yet but looking forward to.

GREAT coffee, but ALWAYS slow for take-away coffees. Most visits (including wait to order the coffee), it takes about 15mins. Need more staff on taking orders/making coffees to help manage the rush, that they always seem to have.

Very sunny place with leafy outdoor area, great ambience. The steak i had is tender and succulent. Perfet cafe worth to go.

Coffee and food so good. Not expensive either. Bit of a wait but didn't mind as they let us know. Definitely will be back

Love the coffee here and the beef brisket eggs benny is to die for.
