Love the gas prices here but I just don't like how on certain days at random it gets waaaay exaggeratedly packed for the gas. A lot of the people have no driving manners and I'm pretty sure they don't even know how to drive, yet they do. Sometimes it gets annoying when the gas pumps act up either because of the: receipt part not working, the card scanner part doesn't allow you to put in your card, or just the pump is closed off. The new indicators that show you which pump is available was a waste of money if you ask me. They don't really help. But hey a lot of these people on Earth seem to think the more technology the better, jokes on them I say.
Has two automatic car tire air pump side-by-side that are located next to the Tire Center (toward the side of the building). Air pump is great since you basically key in the desired tire pressure (typically 35 PSI) and the pump will automatically pump up to that level if tire inflation is low. Car's tire pressure for each car can be found on the inside chassis part of your car door (when opened). No need to bring your own air gauge to read the tire pressure beforehand. Air pump cord is long enough to stretch to all tires location without having to re-park car.
This Costco gas station has the lowest price gasoline in the area, even among all the Costco in South Bay. There are alway long lines but since there are eight lanes with three pumps in each lane, wait time is usually not that bad if you come on weekdays. I like their vacant/in-use indicators showing which pump is being in use and which one is vacant. Of course you need to be a Costco member to get gas here, but the savings that you would get can easily offset the annual membership fee, especially when the gas price is now at record high.
Gas is now below $5...Finally! I find its easier to enter the gas lines if you come from the store entrance vs entering from the streetside entrance. The streetside gets backed up and it can be a cluster trying to get through. No matter what its busy during peak hours. Either purchase gas in the early hours or towards closing. Gas Station Hours 6am to 9:30pm. Plus the overhead green/red lights are a great addition to tell you if the pump is either occupied or not. -renaygarseeya
Cheap gas! When I came it was $0.50 cheaper than the Valero nearby and $0.60 cheaper than Shell per gallon. Also, the pumps go 3 deep which theoretically move the line faster. I say "theoretically" only because people may not see the front 2 bays open up. And if the middle bay opens up then you will have to parallel park to get into the space, which can be pretty hairy. I still give it 5 stars because the gas is cheap and there are a lot of pumps available to move the lines.
Good gas, low pricing. The lines have been growing because of the excellent price. They are doing some work on the station, and it is open, but it is causing more wait time. Although the construction looks like they may be putting in more pumps, I hope! Only two grades of fuel here, regular and premium. The hoses are long enough to reach the far side of the car so don't worry about what lane you end up in. Pumps fill fast and staff are walking around ready to help out.
This place needs oshiya for cars. The entrance is woefully inadequate. Cars line up for a block or more. Customers don't seem to know how to merge in so as not to block the entrance. Many wait to move until the entire gassing queue leaves--holding up those behind them. But it also has lower prices than, e.g., the Great Oaks Costco--today by $0.06 per gallon. That means a lot of people will favor this spot.
This location does not flow at all!! People seem to not move staying in one place causing more back ups. Then you have the people that are just inconsiderate and blow past everyone and try to line hop. They recently tried to regulate only entering from one direction which was a complete failure it just confused and frustrated people more. The only place I have ever seen a pump down!
It's been a lot faster since they added the 3rd pump. A sign says if you need assistance filling your tank if you're ADA, honk your horn for help. I've honked the last 3 times I've been there and the guy doesn't come out of the hut. I went over to the hut the last time I filled up because there was a problem with the pump itself. The Costco worker was on his phone in the hut.
I always pump gas at Costco. Even if you don't have a membership, buy it just for the gas and I'll explain why. I own a 2011 honda van and it holds 20 gallons. Currently, gas at my costco location is $2.25/g compared to the next cheapest is shells @$2.59. Do the math, from empty to full I save $6.80. Pump at Costco 8 times and the membership ($55 per year) plays for itself.
Best prices on quality gas. Don’t worry about the lines, they move quick. Also, don’t worry about which side your tank is on. I own a van and the pump reaches to the far side of my van with ease. Do watch for drivers if you pump on the inside lane as you may make an unintentional target of yourself. YOU NEED A COSTCO MEMBERSHIP TO PURCHASE COSTCO GAS.
I love getting gas at Costco because instead of paying $60 to take full I pay $40 and that's worth the drive plus I get a lot of looks and people who are trans am enthusiasts my cars are celebrity not me shopping Costco get your gas in Costco what are you waiting for all you have to be as a member of Costco and you can get gas when they're open.
Not sure if the wait is worth the pain. But if you happen to be there and see no waiting line, wait an you will get 20 CT discount per gallon compared to other gas stations. As a trick, the lines with the deposit to the right have less waiting cars even though those pumps get a longer hose so you can fill your left tank as well.
This is one of the Costco that has gas station. If you,d like to fill the gas you should enter from parrot street, because there are too many people and they often times blocks the other side of the road to prevent vehicles for gas is blocking the road. Remember do not enter from Burke street! Click like if it’s useful :)
Lines, lines for days. They move quickly enough, just wish jackass with the trailers would keep to the far right pumps instead of taking up 2 or all 3 in another lane. Costco needs better crowd management at these pumps, take a page from Oregon's busiest Costco fuel stations, have someone directing traffic already.
4* One of the two best-priced Costco gasoline stations in the Bay Area--from the North Bay area, to the peninsula, to the South Bay area, with the one other best, also a Costco in San Jose (5* for Manteca and Turlock). 5* Customer service returns. They truly follow the 100% customer satisfaction spirit.
The gas station at this place is really good pricing and parking space. You gotta go get gasoline in the morning till the afternoon, avoid from 4-7pm daily because it will become very crowded. I used to get gas in the morning and rarely have no traffic. Good place to get cheap gas.
Best gasoline prices in San Jose and the South Bay area. From 0.25¢ to 0.60¢ less per gallon than adjacent stations and whole area! There are 3 fast fill pumps per lane with hoses long enough for both sides of your car! Just avoid afternoon rush hour & Sat-Sun if possible!
I like this Costco location, it seems to have many interesting selection of liquors, specially Cognac and wines. It is always crowded at this location regarding either weekend, holidays or weekdays. They could use a larger parking lot area, high traffic most of the time.
The lines look long, but I find that they move pretty quickly, especially after they expanded and added so many more pumps. The pricing is very competitive, plus we enjoy the money back each year (due to exec membership), so Costco is our "go to" for gas.
This Costco gasoline has 24 fueling stations. The gas is the cheapest you will find in the area and there isn't too much of a line in the middle of the day. If you need diesel, this Costco gasoline does not have it. NO DIESEL. #Costco #Gasoline #Cheap
I started purchasing my gasoline from Costco Gas Station approximately a year ago. I'd always thought that it was too far away, so I'd opt for the corner store for a quick fill up. A family member informed me that Costco Gas is cheaper cost
Excellent prices as in all Costco gas stations. Fast pumps. Many lines, each line with three pumps mean that you’re in and out quite quickly. They stay open for an hour after Costco closes so you can finish shopping and then still get gas.
This Costco gas station it's pretty easy to get into it's right on the outskirts of San Jose kind of heading out of town towards the 101 area and sandwich between the 87 freeways.. During the busier times when the gas crisis had started,
Lowest priced gas around! Lots of pumps, great use of the displays to show pump availability. You won't get credit card scammed - a Costco worker walks around. Lines go fast. The only way to get better is if the gas was tax free ☺️ …
A little bit cheaper gas than other gas stations. The unfortunate thing is that you must have the cosco membership card and use only the debit card. Plan a trip to get do some shopping at cosco then also get some gas. Sounds reasonable.
Good costco shop to buy whole sale large groceries . Not for small groceries shoppers The day i went , was very worst traffic and parking problems. There road signs and parking slots needs to be improved. This costco has Gas Station.
If you don't mind a lot of bad drivers that cut in front of you even after you honk at them, or if you don't mind long lines, go here. I'm never going back to this station considering great oaks is closer to where I live.
Why don't Costco build big parking lots and why is the gas station so close to the warehouse why doesn't the gas station have a big exit so we don't have to wait in line to leave I could design a better layout for Costco
Much cheaper than other gass stations, you must have Costco membership, but you can also use a Costco cash card which is same as gift card. Downfall is that it's busy so long lines, and they close when Costco closes.
Well, let me start by saying that Costco gas is cheaper than outside. You would need a membership though. This particular gas station is the least busiest of all Costco gas stations around the San Jose area...
It's Easter Sunday. Past 8am and there's a lot of cars come by to put gas . Just unfortunate that pump gas stations all lanes are and no update advisory given . Don't know what time it's going to be open.
The pump attendant at this gas station was very prompt and detailed to respond to my needs. Everyone wears their smiles to greet you! They have a high quality of facilities at their side. Nice service to you!
Senter Road Costco is very fast and efficient. There are 3 service bays in each row, which allows for the queue to move quickly. Just the gas makes Costco membership worth it. The rest is icing on the cake.
This location has three filling stations per line making your wait reasonable. Also visiting late evening has little or no wait time. Place is always clean and staff is present should you need assistance.
There are 8 lines and 3 pumps for each line. Hose can be extended so I can get gas at any lanes. Price for premium gas is close to the same price of 87 gasoline at Shell. Waiting time is about 5 - 10 min
Very bad place! You have to have the member card to get in, so my 3girls and I have to wait outside, wait for my husband done the gas and parking then show that stupid lady we do have the member card!!
Busy but lots of lanes so it moves quickly. No mid grade gasoline. Save a few bucks over the big corporate stations but Rotten Robbie and AM/PM are competitive and may be more convenient for some.
It's always at least 50 cents cheaper per gallon here. Must have Costco membership to fill up. Lines can get crazy long and the traffic at the intersection is bad at rush hour and weekends.
Most of the time there's a pretty long wait, but savings outweigh the cost in time. The queue comes from both sides and doesn't really extend far but at least there are 3 pumps per aisle
If you have membership and need low cost and quality gas then this is it. Depending when you get gas but be prepared for a long line. I prefer to go during the evening to avoid the wait.
low price in gas as always. With the new additions of stations the lines are going much quicker than before. No more American Express yay :) Thank you Costco and keep up the great work.
People are easy to please clients, not annoying. I was here last week with my boyfriend, and the support we've had has been outstanding. I would recommend this spot to all of you.
The lines were not bad I believe I was in-and-out within 10 minutes for Costco that is definitely not bad and everything was well maintenance and very nice the staff was friendly
Busy stations. But fast as there are three pumps per line. Entry and exits are easy. No need to mingle with shopping crowd. Accepts visa cards and has tap-to-pay enabled.
This place is crazy busy on the weekends with outrageous, impatient drivers and chaotic traffic. It's best to avoid these times. Go on week days and avoid the headaches.
It's a gas station but unlike most costco gas stations this has 3 pumps per line so traffic moves a lot faster, thanks costco for your cheap and high quality fuel
Gas prices great and it depend on the week or days. I love the longer hose that you can pump either side of your car .Location were cleaned .Membership only.
Prices are always pretty low compared to shell chevron etc, and their gas is top tier gas too. Getting a membership for the gas alone is well worth it
This is my first time at this gas station, and I was not disappointed by their great service and affordable offers. It's been a wonderful experience.
Gas always low price just wish cars would park in the spot right or someone say park right not sticking out where others can't put gas. …
The price is good but I will never go again because it is extremely busy and takes a very long time to get in and out. Try QuikStop instead.
Entry is constrained like most COSTCO pumps. Leads to road blocks due to waiting vehicles in peak times , which is mostly through the day
With the exception of the line, everything else is perfect, price, pump speed, fuel quality. What else can I ask for from a gas station?
Great prices, much less than $5 per gal for regular 87 gas, long lines, crowded but more than 20 pumps, so it's fast, short wait time.
Cheapest gasoline for miles. Usually a wait. Try going early or late, as the hours for the pump are different from those of the store.
long lines, ppl don't know how to merge to the next pump or they block the passing lanes between pumps. but all costcos are like this
Fuel is quite cheaper compared to other gas stations, but mostly on weekends and evenings it will be pretty busy, payment is seemless
Plenty of pumps, so I don't have to wait to long. Easy to fill up on either side of the pump. Always well maintained. Great prices.
Their gas seems to be one dime cheaper than other Costco I usually go to, so every time I passed by I'd like to get my tank filled.
This place is well laid out to get gas even when the lines are long and the prices are mostly better than anywhere else in San Jose
Great price for gas if you already have a membership. Lines usually not too bad when I fill up, but there is usually a small wait.
My go to place for gasoline. The gas stations now supports NFC so you don't have to insert credit card into the machines anymore.
Competitive gasoline prices and convenient hours (longer than the store hours). Efficient set up for quick and easy fill ups.
Costco gas I liked it, it's cheaper than other places, and waiting time is less because they have multiple gas fill station
the cheapest, that why you shpuld expect to spend 10-25 minutes in line. just enough time to make you car cabin more clean)
Cheapest fuel around but be prepared for a frustrating wait as many drivers appear not to know how to reverse into position
Significant savings on gas, you need a membership to fill fuel out here. The best time to go to avoid lines is around 2 pm
Not too long of a wait to get gas. Prices are a little lower, but you can get comparable prices at local (cash) stations.
Costco gas has good prices, but you might have to wait in line for 15 minutes. They don't windshield cleaning materisls.
Very nice price for gas and store was good as well and I recommend this store for people who buy a lot of stuff …
The only Costco gas station I know of that has 3 pumps per station. Even if there's a line, the wait isn't very long.
Costco's gas has always been and will always be my favorite because their gas is lower than anywhere else the best
Very good prices. The line is long but the workers assist to make the traffic flow smoothly. Very kind staff
Awesome convience after adding the remodel and adding the new pumps! Getting gas is now so easy and FAST!
Though its hard to locate, even when you are at Costco. services are better with 3 station at each bay.
3 gas pumps per line. It moves pretty quickly. If not the lowest gas prices in San Jose, very close!
Cheap gas, but long waits. Only worth the time if you drive by one, or need to do Shopping anyway.
I met Burt Reynolds and Gil Gerard at Costco gas stations on different occasions. Magical beings.
It’s always difficult to get in or out. Costco needs to do a better job to control the traffic.
Great gas prices! Plus there are red and green lights so you know when a pump is available.
Waited till the line thinned out. It always gets crowded at 5 till they close the station.
just correct your gas station schedule because online it says it's open and it's not done
Great price, avoid the lines by going 30 minutes before closing or right when they open
Lines move fast and everything looked very clean ..and like always, prices are great!!!
Great value! Lines are long but move pretty quickly since there are 4 pumps per line..
Very fast. In and out in ten minutes even during the busy hours. Prices are also good.
Clean and efficient. Great pricing in gas. Lines were not as long as the peak hours.
to get gas and wait a long time worth it if u live close or have alot of free time
Good place the gasoline is more Marata than the rest of the ones in the community.
Since the upgrade, to three pumps per line, everything is moving pretty quick now.
Wasn't too busy at this time but I expected the price of gas to be better there.
Good prices, fast pumps, long hoses, easy in and out. Sadly, no diesel or dep.
Great place to get gas. They have the three row pumps so the line goes fast.
The best place to get gas. It's very efficient and the prices are great.
Good price but lines always long and they close at inconvenient times.
Best price, but very long lines and people are slow and inconsiderate.
Nice place but no one seems to be wiping them gas lines every so often
Always crowdes but efficient line management. Best gas price in town.
