"The masala mutton biryani was very delicious"
The bakery is great with a variety of fresh cakes and breads and will return for this. We had breakfast which really was average. Eggs Benedict with salmon was served a fresh side salad and two very sadly poached eggs. Tramezzimi overly spicy. Service is also extremely slow but not due to lack of staff...maybe the kitchen
So I stopped by early this morn as I had jus done my rounds on my security guards and the stomach was pinching. Only to find Country Bake open at 6.30am. Boy was I happy. So I got in n ordered me a brekkie n it was soooo worth it. Flavorful
Service was good & waitress was pleasant. Food was well presented but terrible. Tempura prawns were fried, oily& raw which threw me off completely. My baked potato with cheese sauce & a side of spinach came with baked potato & spinach & when
Lovely coffee and bakery spot in Durban. The atmosphere, decor and setup is amazing. The staff here is very friendly especially the old Indian gentleman. Love the menu, very Monday my friends and I head over here for the Marvelous Monday
The masala mutton biryani was very delicious. Also had the Koesister and a fruit loaf takeaway. The biryani is a Friday special. I recommend them. The portions are good. Price is around R110. The fruit loaf unfortunately wasn't the fresh
Stopped by Country Bake on a Friday morning, a sunny but chilly day. Upon entering you are met with a wonderful aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and baked goodies. After being offered a table we opted for a couple of cappuccinos , which
Durban, a city celebrated for its exquisite curries and unique culinary adaptations, never ceases to tantalize the taste buds. A prime example of this culinary innovation is the incredible Masala Steak Sandwich, generously oozing with
Wow, what an amazing bakery and eatery! Everything we had was super delicious. Food is not overpriced, but prepare to pay a bit more for the freshly squeezed juices. It's a friendly spot where people meet up and chill by indulging in
Old time favourite. Wonderful coffee and treats. Marvelous Mondays are appreciated! New seating area is refreshing and inviting. Would want to spend hours reading, playing games or catching up with family and friends.
Wonderful breakfast, lovely Sunday morning experience. The waitress was very friendly and made sure we were looked after. Great menu, with choices from breakfast and lunch meals. Must try items from the famous bakery.
A hidden Gem! If you enjoy sweet treats you'll love this place!! There's a variety of pastry treats, pasta. They make delicious Alfredo Cool place for solo dates, coffee dates, etc there's also an art space …
I was so excited to be finally going to this establishment as it's been on my go-to list for a while now. Sadly, I was disappointed. Country bake was definitely not my cup of tea. The
Placed a bulk order and service was excellent My order was packaged very neatly and ready on time. Thank you so much to uncle Yusuf and the team, the buns were delightful
This place totally blew my mind. I had the simply eggs on toast from the menu along with the sweet French toast. The eggs are free range and are really wholesome.
Good service from Clifford. This review went from 1star to 3 star because of his service. We ordered mocca cake. Looked good but was dry. Like really really dry.
Country Bake prides itself on healthy foods, however the Health Start breakfast came with canned fruit instead of fresh fruit. The portion sizes were too small.
This quaint bakery has freshly made breads, pastries and bakes. Supplies sour dough bread, keffir milk and is gluten friendly Coffee blend was beautiful!
Lovely little place. Fantastic Chai tea latte. We had scones and cream and although we got served a half a scone (1st time ever) it was actually enough.
Loved everything about this place.. unique and beautiful.. stunning eye catching decor.. not forgetting the delicious tasty food …
Lovely coffee and meals were delicious. The pastry table looks absolutely inviting wish I could of fit in more to eat and to taste them all
Having fond memories of Country Bake's famous cottage pie when holidaying in Durban, we set out on a Saturday morning for brunch.
Service: Average. Waitress didn't seem (visibly) all that interested in what I was saying. But her speech indicated otherwise.
Popped in for Sunday lunch. Parking available on the street outside. Tables available on the curb outside and inside.
Freshly baked breads, cakes and more, a bit pricey with the mealie bread, clean with friendly helpful staff More
I enjoy this shop but every time I buy a frozen pizza it just falls apart.Great cappuccino and home baked pies.
The new barrister, Doctor, is amazing . Literally I only go for his jokes and amazing coffee
