Being at Courageous Church I have received the courage to live again. I have received the courage to love again. I have received the courage to be free from all the torment, grief, and pain I was suffering from. I found courage in Christ. Courageous is a place where one can find the courage to be authentically who God created you to be, safety, family, freedom, and experience the genuine love of Jesus Christ! Why Courageous? God desires that His children live their lives courageously because of the victory through Jesus Christ! Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” We desire to see Courage rise in the hearts of all people through the love of God, faith in God, serving others, and building community. We are a Courageous Church for courageous people!!!

Courageous Church is everything I needed and more! I watched before coming to Tampa and the presence of God is real when you first step foot in the building. From the greeters, to the people that serve coffee, or the people that show you to your seat and the children’s church volunteers! Everyone’s smile is beautiful and they make you feel like you’re right at home! Everyday I build new relationships and gain a new family member! You can tell the Pastors are genuine in everything they do. I love that they serve with the team, they do a great job with leading by example! This is truly a family without borders! Finding a church home takes patience. I have been on search for a new church home for over a year until I met Pastor’s Onterio and Crystal. They are candid and raw with the spirit. The Sunday worship and messages reflect their spiritual gifts & talents. They preach the bible and unpack the scripture intentionally. The church members and pastors live out the Courageous core values and mission. I am attracted to the diversity and culture here. I’ve visited many church’s and have found my church home. Thankful for the Pastors listening to God to move from Texas to Florida so my fiends and I can worship and have community together in the same church.

Since the moment I stepped foot at Courageous Church the atmosphere was so warm, friendly and welcoming! I am so extremely grateful to have found a community of believers from all different walks of life that love Jesus and our city so much and are excited about seeing God move and do amazing things in us and through us. The leadership of this church is also so exemplary! Pastor Onterio and Pastor Crystal truly lead by example and challenge us to grow deeper in our faith always. Seriously so blessed to be able to call Courageous Church my home church and may God continue to bless this ministry!

The absolute best church in Tampa Bay! I feel so blessed the holy sprit led me to Courageous church! This church has been everything I have been praying to God for. The Pastor and his wife are so real and authentic and love the Lord so much and it shows in everything they do. I literally drive an hour to get to this church every Sunday. I’ve loved my experience since my first day. The fellowship is amazing, worship is SO SPIRIT-FILLED, and the pastors are wonderful. God definitely has His hand on this house. Oh and my favorite thing is how diverse it is! It’s the most diverse church I’ve been to in my life.

The atmosphere is amazing! It’s Bible teaching and love giving! I feel like it’s family reunion every Sunday. But it doesn’t just do at Sunday. Wednesday morning prayer and other functions throughout the week to keep you filled! Thank you Jesus for Courageous Church!

My 19 year old son drove from Orlando to Tampa to attend Courageous Church. He love it and drive back the following week for their baptisms. That is about 200 miles round trip. When your 19 year ravens about a church you know they are doing a lot of things right!!

Couragous is not just a Church, it’s a family. The abundant love, support, and generosity has remained consistent though my transition from a guest to a faithful member. The Leadership is amazing and the presence of God is felt when you walk though the door!
