Truly AWFUL experience buying my first car. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP IF YOU CAN. I had been inquiring via phone about a ford fiesta over several weeks at this dealership and last weekend called in the morning to check if it was still available as me and my father wanted to view the car. We arrived later that afternoon and the sales man told us that he would only take the car out for a drive if we we serious about the purchase. I think my father and I were taken aback by this, I mean why would we come all this way not to test the car? Throughout the whole experience of finding out more about the fiesta, the man was both incredibly rude and patronizing to me and my father. Due to COVID I desperately need a car to get around and had to think whether we would walk away because of this sales man (who btw did not even introduce himself to us) or whether to grit our teeth and get on with it as I needed a car. I chose the latter but honestly the experience with this sales man left much to be desired. He also didn't honor a £95 discount that was agreed on the phone as management had changed their mind. Having brought the car home, I've now noticed 2 faults with the car (one wheel has lost a lot of the air since being driven home and was pumped up before we left) and an ill fitted boot cover at the back that the sales man took from another car to fit in my one but doesn't actually fit properly. I am DREADING calling them back to fix this even though it should be under the 3 month warranty...

Avoid this place. FRED is extremely rude and talks to you like thrash if you ask him any questions or raise any concerns about the car you are after. I bought a car from him in the end as it was priced reasonably and wasn’t available locally and so was in a desperate position. I hope they get rid of Fred. PLEASE AVOID guys. Yes, Fred replaced new brake pads, tyres and discs free of cost but only after great difficulty and persistence this was done with Fred being extremely rude and patronising throughout. And, this was required anyway - who buys a car with dodgy brake pads, tyres and discs? TELL ME. I'm not the only one that has left a negative review - check out other reviews. It doesn't matter when the review is posted - it doesn't change how rude Fred is, or maybe this review will be an eye opener for him to change so that nobody else has to go through what I, my father and brother in law experienced with him. He was aggressive in his approach towards my father even. so please guys AVOID this place because of FRED (who has no friendly customer service skills) and only because of him.

Just bought my first car from Cranham car sales- I found the whole experience stress free from leaving the deposit on the car, to picking up the week later. Fred has been very helpful the way through. Easy and professional service- even gave me back £20 as he hadn't had time to put petrol in. Very pleased with my new KA- highly recommend. Bought a beautiful low mileage auto Fiesta for my step-daughter with a three month warranty thrown in - she is very pleased with the car and excellent sales and service from Gary. Definite recommendation - it seems most of the cars are locally sourced from main agents rather than bought at auction, so full history and mileage documented.
