"This is a great social spot, yes there can be numerous issues but it’s usually managed by parking authority and police doing drive by’s, overall I can see how the residents would be upset"
"It's small, but cute"
"A really beautiful park, which is situated on an embankment, overlooking downtown Calgary"
"Awesome park, it has playground, tennis courts, baseball field, lots of picknick table and breathtaking Calgary downtown view"
"Little and clean park"
This is a great social spot, yes there can be numerous issues but it’s usually managed by parking authority and police doing drive by’s, overall I can see how the residents would be upset...give it some time and everything will subside and the hooligans will find a new place to hang out. It’s clean and there’s rarely any garbage. A lot of families interact well with everyone that’s there. This place has great stairs if you want to train as well
It's small, but cute. Has 2 baseball diamonds benches and tables, plus it's just off the Cresent ridge and stairs. So you still get some privacy if your trying to just chat, but still active enough people are always walking by. Ideal for a meet up for a date, workout, or just to relax and look at the view
A really beautiful park, which is situated on an embankment, overlooking downtown Calgary. The views are spectacular, especially around sunset. Unfortunately I've been forced to leave, due to the frequent, excessive marijuana smoke that ruins an otherwise great family environment.
Awesome park, it has playground, tennis courts, baseball field, lots of picknick table and breathtaking Calgary downtown view. Only issue there is that there is no parking and street parking is limited to permit holders or limited areas with maximum 2 hours only for daytime.
Little and clean park. Great city and mountain view. Perfect for walking, dog walking, running, roller skating. Has a free tenis court, basket ball and football field. Short walk from the river and and China town. On top of the hill from the riverfront. Has a picnic tables.
Nice views of the downtown skyline, 24/7/365, just not when it's too foggy. It's quite popular but most visitors seem to be in and out fast, especially on really cold days. Bring a good camera for sure. Oh and there are no public amenities here, such as restrooms.
Outstanding views of downtown and the river. Picnic tables offer comfortable seating for a coffee/meal while enjoying a pleasurable viewing experience. Lots of space for kids, Frisbee, or exercising the arm with a baseball/football etc.
Nice place to hang out and relax, during these times when there are not a lot of allowable options to visit with a friend. Excellent views of downtown from the south side of the park, lots of green spaces in which to spread out.
nice area, the community centre is really well maintained and has a nice little garden and arena / rink area
Dog-friendliness
There is a large open space where people bring their dogs to play (medium to small sized dogs)
You'll see a great view of downtown. Lots of people jog up and down the stairs and along the path ways. The only downside I have is the washroom, it's clearly unmaintained. Otherwise, it's a nice place to chill with friends.
Tennis courts have slight cracks, but none that affect play. Otherwise great condition. Secluded, quiet, away from houses and cars. A good place to play. Can't comment on crowdedness as I was there early morning
The view is beautiful during the day. Probably more beautiful during the night. The only thing bad about this place was the parking. I have no idea where the parking is, or if there even is parking.
Great assistant vice principal, helped arrange a drop off of equipment for filming of a movie. Helped get cars moved and a place to park my equipment, all on her lunch break.
Best close up view of Calgary downtown core. Close enough to see everything, yet not close enough to touch. About a 15minute walk to EauClaire if you take the stairs
It's okay but the gravel generates a lot of dust so kids always end up dusty after playing. You need extra clothes for your kids to change into after playing.
I grew up nearby to this park, and while the gardens aren't as nice as they used to be it is still a great park to have a picnic and have a game of frisbee.
All I can stay keep an eye out for the steep steps, they killed me!! General good place for walking and exercising. Take a stroll and grab a coffee...
Clean and Pristine! Very nice for taking a walk. You can see beautiful houses, lush greenery, and the most beautiful view of the city! Check it out!
Great experience visiting the park and get a great view of down town calgary from the park. Nice and clean with a friendly community environment.
This place has an amazing view.of the downtown . Perfect place to chill as well as excercise . There are places to sit and paths to walk and jog
He's a great playground, skating rink, community center, curling rink and is located close to crescent ridge overlooking the city skyline.
The Environment is Beautiful and Peaceful but the Tennis Courts needs Renovation... but can still manage to play on them (3courts) …
Best place to view downtown but will not recommend to see new year eve firework from this pion as you can’t see Calgary tower from here
My family has been going to this park since the 1960's. A great family park for picnics in the summer or anytime the weather is nice.
Gorgeous place and amazing memories. The view is very mezermising. Definitely a good place to hang out, walk and even play sports at.
Nice park I play tennis in throughout the summer. Right next to the downtown overlook for anyone wanting a pretty view of the city
Great park, sufficient amenities, great view of Calgary and the mountains, great sunset locations, plenty of trees for shade.
Baseball, hockey, a dynamite playground coupled with the best view in Calgary make this a reason a 6th star is needed!!!
Not a very well maintained park...however with some tlc from friends it was a beautiful spot to get married at! …
Best spot to look at the skyline. This is the first place I take all my friends visiting Calgary for the first time.
Lived here for 10 years. The sunset with the city offset to the side, makes for a lovely walk or a sit on a bench
Lots of good trails around this park in a quiet neighborhood, you get one of the best views of downtown Calgary

Amazing view of Calgary! A must stop for anyone visiting Calgary who wants to get some great pictures.
The views from here, no words to explain it. You'd have to check me here experience it yourself.
Always fun to bring visitors here, the view is great. Road was blocked off for people to walk.
Great place for a walk. You can take amazing photos of the city. There is also rafts rental.
There's closure on the road at night. You'll need to walk a little bit to get to the sight.
Good park for the kids. There are a couple picnic tables located around the park as well.
I love curling at this club! The food at the concession is incredible! I love their soup
An old part of calgary but the houses are being rebuilt to have a new look for the area
its a nice view of the city from up top of trail but very nice park in the summer time
I went to skate here and the rink was nice! My only problem was it was a little bumpy.
Nice little park with softball diamonds, outdoor rink, and a great view of a downtown
Close to downtown, the tennis courts are in pretty good shape. Not too busy either.
Amazing view. Downtown, River, stampede grounds. Lots of mosquitoes though haha

A very good park for workout plus a beautiful view of Calgary's downtown
I like to go for walks through here. It's good for me and rather scenic.
Very nice, clean park with an excellent view of the downtown cityscape.
One of Calgary's better inner city parks. Always has something going on
A nice small park near the hill side with amazing views of downtown.
Simple park split into small sections with a nice modern playground.
Great kids playground. Not far enough South for the views though.
Great views, fairly ample parking, you can bring your doggos!
A really great park for small children lots of things to do
Beautiful scenery and dogs welcome a real Calgary view spot
Beautiful place for walk, run with great view of downtown!

View is amazing! Park could require a little more work
Probably the best hangout and scenic place in Calgary
Terrific to overlook the downtown skyline from here!
Love those tennis courts. Great park. Easy to park.
Small and cute. Good for picnic, flying kites.. etc
