SCAMMERS. Nothing but scammers. I had insurance with red river mutual, which I was talked into by Stephen from cross roads insurance. He was never very informative or informational about anything. He talked me into a policy that cost $380 a month. Months in, I decided to close my company down, I asked for months for my policy to be canceled and just got ignored. Resulting in me paying over $1200 of insurance when I wasn't even operating the snow removal business anymore. My policy was finally canceled in August. NOW THIS IS WHERE THE SCAMMING COMES IN! 5 months later!! They have taken another random payment of $360 with absolutely no warning, resulting in NSF fees for me, and taking the last of my money until payday. PLEASE if you're a small company save yourself and DO NOT work with these guys, they will smooth talk you into a policy, and then ignore you to steal money when you ask to cancel, and then months later they will go INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT without permission and take your last dollars.

As a broker, this business leaves a lot to be desired. When cancelling a home Insurance policy we were told no worries, there will be no more payments coming out of your account and you will be getting a refund, likely a cheque in the mail. Then, lo and behold, money withdrawn and when calling for an explanation, my daughter was basically told she was a liar and that no one that SHE (the manager) had trained would ever had said such a thing. When also told that she would now be short on other bills for the month, not their problem. Very, very poor customer service and integrity. Use a different broker there are lots of good ones out there, this is not one of them! ******************************************* UPDATE: The office has contacted us and the above issue has been resolved very satisfactorily and I will now be changing my rating for them to five stars. Impressive.

After speaking with Crossroads, I am not banned from purchasing insurance from them. I have renewed a new policy and I am glad that the situation has been rectified. I believe that having customers be aware of auto-renewal policy or to offer an opt-out (one year only) policy would make things much easier. Very friendly customer support though. Thank you. -- ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW 1/5 Stars -- Terrible company, avoid! Decided not to renew policy at the end of the year. Crossroads stated that they sent registered mail regarding a "cancellation form" and therefore renewed the insurance, without my consent, and then stated the account had a "non-payment". No registered mail was ever sent, nor was this "cancellation form" discussed at the time of signing the policy. Get your insurance elsewhere!

I have been dealing with Cody Malcolm of Crossroads insurance for the past 3 years. I cannot provide enough positive feedback on how he has conducted his business with me. He is professional, knowledgeable, adaptable, very prompt in returning messages but even more importantly he always provides a personal human element to each interaction. As a commercial provider he has exceeded my needs for information and products but he has also taken the time to assist me in my personal home policies. He is always pleasant to deal with. I maintain a small list of contacts I would refer to family and friends and Cody would top that list. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars I would. I have been dealing at Crossroads Insurance for many years...and particularly with Tiana M. Every time I had insurance or MPI-related questions, Tiana provided detailed and immediate information...and also took the time to discuss options and additional advice. She is extremely professional and at the same time makes the transaction fun and enjoyable! She is super friendly and makes you feel at ease with any transaction you need to complete. She is uber efficient and genuine in her role as an advisor. I have recently moved and, even from another province, she is quick to jump to my assistance to help make the transition seamless and painless. I wish I had a Tiana at my insurance location in my new province!!! 6 Stars!!!

When I went in to get set up for Drivers Z, the staff were kind and helpful. The atmosphere was clearly welcoming, and Benjamin (the person who assisted us) was extremely affable and helpful. He guided my dad and I through the process quickly and efficiently, answering all of my questions and reassuring me about things I wasn't sure about. He was very easy to get along with and went above and beyond to make sure I was all set up and ready. I would highly recommend coming here; it was honestly a highlight of my day!

They refused to mail our abstract no matter how many times we try to ask. They kept trying to send us away to other place "it's easier going else where. You would have a wait here". He tried telling them we understand there is a wait and want it mailed to our home address out of province. Very frustrating services. it was like talking to a brick wall.

Crossroads insurance has been my go to insurance provider for as long as I’ve lived in the area and service is great. Today when I got there I noticed the signs as you can see in picture, but also I noticed that the curtains were almost all the way down and you really can’t see if there’s the maximum amount of people without opening the door.

Nothing but great service. The home insurance renewal advisors shop for better coverage and rates when requested PRIOR to renewal, and do what is best for your interest. They offer a handful of insurance companies to quote with. If you have questions they are easy to talk to and friendly service. Their manager, Nella, was also very helpful.

I always renew here. Staff is generally fast and friendly. However, when I went in today, no one greeted any of the 7 people who came in (they just awkwardly looked around and tried to find a place to sit/stand). Additionally, when I had my photo taken there was no counting down, and I expect it will look as bad as it felt.

We have dealt with Crossroads Insurance since opening our business in St. Vital in 2018 and have always received wonderful service. During the Covid-19 pandemic and reduced office hours, they were able to assist remotely in a professional and timely manner.

I would still not recommend Cross Roads. Ran into issues when we were first getting house insurance through them back in September of 2015. First it took them three weeks to get our quote with an average latency of 3 days between emails. It
