Just realized I was reviewing the wrong park. Ahh, but if you want to check the one by Arbour Lake School: "Nice, fairly new playground with rope based climbing equipment, two saucer swings, slides and climbing walls. The grandson calls this one the "climbing" park and loves it. There are soccer fields beside it and it is part of the Arbour Lake School field. It's within walking distance from us which is always a bonus when you are trying to burn off energy from a three year old." Crowfoot Park is basically soccer fields but quick access to the YMCA, the library and the area high school.

Crowfoot Park is a great option to bring out the family dog for a game of fetch! Seemingly endless fields to enjoy, on what grounds used to be considered the outskirts of town, to enjoy. Although coyotes can be heard here at night, they are rarely seen during the day. Bring the family down here on a weekend and take in some open air! #world9time #CrowfootPark

Crowfoot and it’s surrounding areas and communities have been home for the past so many years. Love the place, the open spaces here in the North West in Calgary. Great parks, access to bikes paths, the river, shopping areas, crowfoot shopping has all the things one would look for. Superstore, Safeway, Coop. Etc.. overall a great place. A beautiful community.

Nice mountain view. Not really a park park. Great place to cut through to get somewhere. Or walk a dog. Or watch little League. Not really a destination. Access to library not great. Need to walk far west or east. Can't go as crow flies. High school field so lots of cars when school going in or letting out.

Great for an afternoon stroll, a weekend walk and jogging, biking, rollerblading in summer and sledding/tobogganing during wintertime with enough snow. The main pathways are well maintained. There is free parking in several areas where you get access to the park from different parts of the city.

Nice clean park with great views!
Dog-friendliness
Lots of dog walks here! Great place to bring your dog for a walk.
Picnic area
Trees for shade and not to many people. Great place to sit and have a snack/meal.

  • Carina Kwok

This is a large open space conjoined with a sport field for the nearby school; a pair of baseball diamonds; and walking paths. Sadly, the paths don't circumnavigate the park so you have make your own way around half of it.

  • Fezii

Great little spot for walking, jogging, or just hanging out. Situated between residential areas, so is easy to get to by walking. Crowfoot plaza is right around the corner so if you get hungry you can always pop by there!

  • George Daly

One or two stop shopping for families. Lots of free parking. No traffic tie ups. Buses and trains come here. YMCA and public library nearby. 3 or four Starbucks'. Rona now a Lowe's store. Cineplex 12 theatres etc. etc.

  • Mike Auer

Nice facility but parking is horrendous. Be prepared to fight people for a spot in a tight congested parking lot. Better to just park up the hill at the baseball diamond or the school.

  • Fatemeh Yousefzadeh

Not very big, quiet and you would have a good view of crowfoot village, library and MELCOR ymca, no playground, no picnic area and no restroom

  • andrew Hoard

A great place to work out and ride bikes. Shown in my photo is the beautiful Chem trails that the government puts in our skies …

The park is 99% not used. A waste of space being maintained by the city. The library is great. Just finished their renovation.

  • Jake Patey

Great Mntn view. Trees, hilly, ball diamond, school fields. A walk thru park not one you really go to.

  • Adil Dhanani

Great bit of open space in Crowfoot. Fun sports complex in the summer and sledding hill in the winter.

Used to be a really nice park, then some clipboard toting engineer left a school in the middle of it.

This is a common park you can walk, run and bike. There are not many wild animals nor birds in it.
