They aren’t terrible, but with rent increases over 20%. You’ll quickly get priced out unless you have a lot of disposable income. CubeSmart found a way to further exploit the renters market. Additionally, during the freeze in February 2021 we received no formal communication about a flood that had happened in the basement (where our unit was) until two weeks after showing up to access our unit and being told that it was inaccessible without providing any details. So; maybe think twice about renting here!

I rented a 10x10, climate controlled, drive-up unit for a single month while I looked for a place to live. The facility was very clean and easy to access. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would rent a space here again if the need arose. A couple of things to be aware of: 1) the keypad for opening the gate is tricky to reach, so prepare to either climb out of your car window or leave enough space so you can open your car door to get out. 2) parking can be tricky around the back of the building.

NOT a place I would use again. Since we started here (in 2019) our rate had almost doubled from $170 a month to $290. Once you get set up in the unit they Jack up the prices cause they know it’s a hassle to leave. We set up autopay and had a credit card expire. We went to the office multiple times to pay but there’s never anyone at the desk to take the payment. Emailed coordinated times to come and even they they weren’t there. This is a SHADY business.

I’ve been renting from CubeSmart on Burnet Road for about 5 years now. I have work files stored there that I continue to use from time to time. The staff and General Manager are very kind, the space is always clean and has music playing so that it’s not creepy while I’m working. I just rented an additional unit and they gave me a great price. If you need to rent some space, they are really awesome and they have locations all over town.

Good security, but try to get a unit on the 1st floor. 1 (out of 2) elevators was always out of service and made it inconvenient to navigate to my unit on the third floor due to the many other users trying to get to their units. Also, the moving carts are completely abused, some of the wheels were literally missing and they make horribly loud noises as you attempt to drag it all the way to your unit.

Esther, the general manager,, is an incredibly professional representative of CubeSmart. Her kindness and compassion for ultimate customer service and satisfaction were like none I've ever experienced before. I will not go to any other storage facility than CubeSmart ever again in my life after my visit with Esther!

The property manager... With so many natural disasters disturbing the normal operations Cheryl went above and beyond accommodating us! Covid, the Texas freeze (which really affected our building extensively!) and all the other unexpected delays Cheryl was on top of it and made sure we were happy!

Took 40 min from initial inquiry to getting the keys to my unit. The workers were extremely helpful as there was no one in the office & I was able to rent a unit in no time. The first floor has plenty of dollys and we were able to move everything in my apartment in a little over an hour.

Customer service was amazing. Kudos to Cheryl Tinsley for doing a great job. No hassles, clean, climate controlled and well maintained facility! Easy in and out experience. Great management too! Definitely at the top of the list for future considerations of our storage needs. Thank you!

Jeff, the young man that works there, is a super star when it comes to customer service. He explained everything thoroughly. The move in and move out processes were easy. Social distancing was not an issue there at all. I would definitely use this place again. Way to go, Jeff!

I gotta say it - this is a fantastic storage place and the staff is super helpful. Extremely clean. It easily accommodates an 18 wheeler moving rig so don't be afraid if you need this place for temporary storage while you look for a home in Austin! Bravo, people.

The office staff is nice and friendly. As soon as I reserved a unit, I received a call confirming my reservation and was given information, I would need to make the process easier. At move-out, they were also nice and accommodating.

Cube Smart off of burnet is the place to go. Decent prices,very secure and clean facility,but most of all the staff was amazing. Sheryl was awesome , very professional , very knowledgeable, and just a great person over all.

Jeff was the manager on duty and he was amazing! Quick, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They upgraded my space at no extra charge and the first month is free! Love the location, love the space, love the climate control!

The one month free is a bait and switch because once you pay the fees and insurance it is not really free. Why do we pay the insurance? I do not own the building- the owners should absorb the insurance risk!

BEST LOCATION EVER! My company rents from this location after horrible service from a competitor. Staff member Cheryl is absolutely amazing! She and the whole team go above and beyond for every customer!

Facility is fine. Only complaint is them increasing my monthly rate halfway through the year, knowing it's not worth the hassle to move to a different storage unit for the second half.

Great facilities, nice staff. But in the course of a few years, I went from paying a little over $100 a month, to $150 or 160. One of those price increases came without notice.

Some problems getting in because one elevator wasn’t working and it wasn’t clear to me what to do if unit just had a green seal tag on it, but Cheryl was really helpful.
