DO NOT RENT STORAGE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR STUFF STOLEN. Two men in a black chevy silverado USED A CODE to get in and take my travel trailer on May 31st. I did not discover this until I made my pre-setup visit on June 25th. Their max insurance payout is 2k, which is a total ripoff (and mandatory to pay each month). The person in charge kept having typos, so the incorrect amount was sent originally so I was expecting more. The storage place refuses to accept any responsibility, even THEIR code was the one used to get in. No attempts to find out who based on the code and description and car and time they took the camper based on security cameras, so don't expect that to help you either. I did everything I could to make sure my camper was secure, even without having a 'secure entry' at the storage place. Never renting with cubesmart ever again. EDIT TO REPLY TO CUBESMART RESPONSE: I already did that whole thing and nothing was done by customer service other than to pay out the tiniest insurance claim that barely covered what I paid into for storage and "mandatory" storage insurance. Seems like Cubesmart should be at fault here. But I guess we'll see...

Onsite management team quickly responded to questions in a friendly informative fashion. We were compelled to move because large segments of the Austin community and our Condo Association were not following CDC guidelines. Our condo association experienced people coming over the wall and breaking into cars (on video with audio). These same people destroyed the community mail box system twice. Strangers started using the pool of our gated property. Items were stolen out of our garage while my wife was unloading groceries from her car. After deciding to retreat to our second home, we also decided to move our storage locker which contained business files. Sad decision after the years of positive service by the management of CubeSmart. Great management, great company.

These are outdoor storage units Rented a space back in October, asked if they flood because how onion creek can get. Was told no flooding due to their location. Moved in with alright rates. Put our things in there no problems. Went to get some things out on a rainy day. Found that water does flood in from side unit and another place. Also water seeps in from roof as well. Tried to file a claim at their insurance you have to get. Was denied l. Told it’s all surface water. Which coming from roof/ceiling is not surface water. Some things are now ruined and can’t be replaced. This is poor storage unit quality and I suggest you don’t store here to avoid having things get ruined too.

To be totally Honest. It was Mike who helped me when I signed up for my unit on Wm Cannon near the 35 in Austin,Tx. He was so helpful for the time (over a year) that I had my things in storage. He was always pleasant, well informed, and helpful. As I am a senior citizen, I would be proud to know , if he were my son, that he conducted always in such professional and friendly. He always remembered me on sight when I came and we we could sit a d talk a bit. Very good choice for someone to represent you company. Storage unit was ok but a little rough around the edges, but then it was the first time I had ever found the need to use one. Thank you for being there.

This location is absolutely awesome! The prices you see are truly the prices you get, and their customer service is impeccable. Not only did the manager, Gilbert, take his time explaining everything in great detail, he allowed us to view multiple units to ensure our items would fit. He also provided us with extra discount options, that weren't advertised. I've had issues in the past with other storage companies and always left feeling unsure. This time was vastly different. I feel safe with the security and the staff. Great Job Gilbert....great job!

In a post CoVid world where there is 100% automated service and ZERO ACTUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE it is refreshing to meet people that still take pride in being of service to the Customer. I cannot say enough about the patience, kindness and service extended to me by Monique & Felipa at the Cube Smart @. 1905 William Cannon. I found the property to always be clean and the Staff to always be helpful and friendly. GREAT JOB Ladies!!

Our camper was stolen from the Cubesmart storage space in Austin on 1905 William Cannon Drive on July 7, 2023. There have been multiple thefts at this location. This is the second incident for us at this facility--our old camper was stored there and was broken into. The management is not taking steps to secure this facility. DO NOT USE IT.

Felipa was so friendly, kind and helpful with my questions and concerns upon me moving my stuff in the storage. She also a bilingual I saw her speaking to the Spanish customer answering questions, it definitely a perfect location for her bilingual. She made me feel very welcome and taken the time to take care of me. Thank you Felipa!

Came in and was greeted by felipa who was a great help on finding a storage unit for my girlfriend and I… she then went out of her way to show us the way to our unit and gave it a clean before we stored our items. No - they're not the cheapest storage in the area, but I was able to get a space reserved and rented so fast, I was in and out in under 10 minutes. With other places I've used before, I was in the rental office up to an hour just filling out paperwork. This rental company is doing something right to make it this easy.

Ive had a great experience with cube smart so far,I booked my unit online,I received email immediately with my gate entry and code for the temporary lock the hat was on the door,upon arrival I opened the unit and had a courtesy bag inside with my new lock and key,great experience,same day

Cube Smart has screwed up, every time I store my car, they are trying to charge me late fees and I paid up front and they still can’t get it right. I’ve showed them the bank statements and they still can’t get it right. I’m in South America and I don’t want these problems.

Expect to be "nickel and dimed" to death! From the admin fees to the required insurance to the special locks they MAKE you buy that only work on their specific doors. Total BS. What I expected to be a $53 charge quickly added up to $120.

I have tried calling from out of state on and off for hours on a Saturday. The automated phone system is malfunctioning. Please try simply answering the phone! It’s important I talk to a representative.
