CubeSmart is a national corporation with a $4B+ valuation, and yet when a woman drove through the side of our storage facility with a moving van, it took them over eight months to repair the building - leaving a plywood wall instead with builder grade home doors that were never locked. Often I would visit my unit to find homeless people sleeping on moving carts in the elevator lobby while charging their phones. Meanwhile, they completely repainted the entire building and replaced the access code readers, bragging about these upgrades while there was still a massive hole in the side of the building. The “climate control” here was a joke, with thermostats slowly creeping up over the years until it was often more comfortable outside of the building than inside. I believe the last official word from the office was that temps in the 80s during the summer were considered climate controlled. I began my lease here at under $300, and at the time of moving out my rent had skyrocketed to over $600. All this for the same sized unit in the same broken, poorly secured building. All of this plus multiple instances of being locked out of my unit have led me to vow that I will never rent a storage unit from CubeSmart ever again, and I will recommend none of my family or friends do either. It is not surprising that the office of this building could never keep a regular staff of employees - it was managed like a Flint, Michigan Taco Bell.

Excellent customer service! We went in during a "rush" period and Tori was able to assist all of the customers in a courteous and professional manner. Her sweet and caring demeanor adds that personable touch. She showed us several different unit sizes that were available so we could select the best one based on our storage needs. We also really appreciate the on-site moving truck they offer, which took that worry off my to-do list. The entire process was a breeze. Thank you!

Although this is BY FAR the priciest place in the area, it's conveniently located and has been home to our Holiday decorations & family heirlooms since 2014. Upon this latest & most outrageous rate increase, the front desk manager 'Joy' was able to negotiate the rent down a little for us! Now I won't have to move all that stuff to the newer competition in the neighborhood!

CubeSmart is the BEST place to store my items safe and secure. They always keep the entire place clean. And their customer service is without a doubt the best, both at the call center and in person at the facility. And the discount prices are great, too. I’ve used other storage companies and I’ll never use anyone else now but Cube Smart!

I wasn’t aware of the 30 day notice to Terminate my unit but I emailed the store and the General Manager Steve was very helpful and responded to my emails super fast ! His customer service is impeccable and I would definitely rent from them again ! They deserve more than 5 stars

The staff is nice. But the prices are crazy and when I tried to change to a smaller unit, they couldn’t help me with pricing so I would have basically been paying the same for less space. I went to a different storage facility and am now paying $100 less a month.

The young lady at the desk on Monday 8/22 of the Jacksonville store in Riverside, was so accommodating to me because I lost my keys. She went way out of her way to cut the lock and get me in. She was cool, calm, and totally competent!! She deserves a huge bonus.

Feel free to use this place if you want your rent raised every few months to 50% over the agreed upon price at move in and prefer to not always have elevators available to you while moving trucks are unloading other people's stuff. You'll love it!
