I wouldn’t call me a total dental phobe, but oddly the older I get, the more I loathe the thing we all gotta do: go to the dentist. It takes time, effort, anticipation of shame/pain. I have been going to Dillard Dental for about 6 years now, and I adore everyone in the clinic. Dr. Dillard is fantastic, but I LOVE Brennice and Grace. Brennice cleans the barnacles off these ol ivories so fast, zero pain, no judgments. I come out sparkling white in under an hour. I have a very unpredictable work schedule, and Grace always accommodates the craziness. I learned my insurance has also not been super easy to work with for Dr. Dillard, but I would not have known; her office takes excellent care of that with zero surprises or noise to me. We live in East Nashville; we have options for dental services closer to home. But we would drive to Indiana if need be to get same care we get at Dillard! (please don’t relocate to Indiana!)

I love this office! They are all so sweet, and go above and beyond. The office itself is super clean and inviting, too. Brennice did my initial cleaning and was very gentle, so it was a great first experience. Dr. Dundon helped me find the right treatment that I truly couldn’t find at another dental office (I tried many), and also referred me to the best ortho surgeon to remove my wisdom teeth. And, of course, Dr. Dillard is absolutely wonderful! During my last visit, she (along with Emily and Hillary) made a little teeth shaving (yuck) as easy as possible and kept me laughing! They knew I was nervous, and went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a team that truly cares about your oral health and smile!

I have a very bad history with dentists. Because of that, I put off going to the dentist for a while. I finally decided to stop putting it off and get some work done. I'm glad I chose Dillard Dental. Everyone at this office has always made me feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed. They explain everything in detail before beginning any work, and they make sure you understand what's being done. They even texted me the day after getting a crown to make sure I was feeling okay and there were no problems. They also have a sort of in-house plan that includes 2 cleanings a year and a discount on any work performed, which allowed me to afford the work without having dental insurance. I cannot recommend Dr. Dillard enough.

I wanted to try what I thought might be a better dentist after reading several great reviews about Dr. Dillard but that’s not what I got ....I am disappointed in the overbooking of appts causing me to get my appt pushed forward, numbed then I sat in the waiting room for a bit having to get shots again because of having to wait. The manager of the office is really great but I don’t care for the way Dr Dillard handles business. Additionally her shots are the worst of any dentist I’ve been to and I was happy to be done with my treatment. On a good note the one who did my cleaning was better then anyone prior....So, get your teeth cleaned there if you want, the dr doesn’t do those....

Best Dentist visit ever! It had been a year since I had a cleaning and Julie did an *excellent* job getting the sad coffee stains off of my teeth. I really appreciate her thoroughness. And a great big THANK YOU to Dr. Dillard for suggesting that she soften the mamelons on my front teeth. It's something that I should have done a long time ago, as they were pretty pronounced, but wouldn't have even thought was an option unless she suggested it. *Big* improvement on my smile in just a few shakes. WIN! Dr. Dillard was so personable, professional and efficient. And for that matter, everyone in the office was quite pleasant. I'm glad that I switched!

Dr. Dillard, Brennice, Lisa and the entire staff are beyond excellent. You will be in such good hands if you choose this office for your dental health. I live twenty minutes away and near several dental offices, but I happily make the drive because the staff will make you feel comfortable and like a top priority! I notice myself getting better at my white coat syndrome and feeling more confident in my ability to achieve my dream smile due to the kindness I receive in their office. Dr. Dillard has worked with me through thick and thin. She is the most caring Dentist I have EVER been to. I have panic attacks, while she was taking care of an issue-she picked up I was having difficulty and stopped the procedure and calmed me until she could continue. I appreciate her and will not go to an other Dentist. Dr. Dillard's staff is awesome, very personable and yet professional. I am in a process of fixing teeth and the work is beautiful! Has always the best for years! The doctor makes sure there's not any pain, and explains what's going on during a procedure. COVID safe protocols are in place, and are adhered too for both the staff and patients. Billing is always explained, and continues to be accurate after the insurance pays it's part. Great, competent staff. They work well together, and are accomodating to patients. Good environment. Clean and up to date facility. The ceiling TV's with free movies to watch during a procedure are pretty good! And, the bring a pet to work day is rad cool!

The staff is so friendly and helpful. I had a crown replaced and Dr D did such a great job: didn’t feel a pinch of pain. If I had one wish it would be getting rid of having the “Covid protocol” of stopping everyone upon arriving - then requiring everyone call first and then wait in our car until they call us in. I know they think this is a safety precaution (that has no scientific basis IMHO) but I can’t help but wonder if they have considered just how unwelcoming this seems? Plexiglass still as a separation barrier, really? Seems so inhumane.

I really loved my time with Dr. Dillard! She was so engaging yet real on my dental needs. I left feeling relieved and with my anxiety lowered. I also felt she lives with integrity when it came to what I actually needed and not just saying I needed this or that to make more money. I also love the precautions taken for COVID-19. I would definitely recommend Dillard Dental Services and I'm not paid to say this. Been a Patient for 4 years, decided to have some extensive work, crowns and veneers. Dr. Dillard reviewed all the options available, cost, timeframe etc. to complete such. They were excellent to work around my business travel schedule. They addressed the concerns I had and completed the job in a professional manner. I only wish I had done all the work earlier !! They did everything I asked. I have a few other matters that I want addressed, will be seeing Dr. D for those dental issues also. They did a great job for me !! Thank you !!

I’ve always been terrified of the dentist and have had horrible experiences but coming to Dr Dillard has seriously changed all that. It’s a small privately owned practice run by people who actually care about the patients more then the money. I’m a single mom on a budget, and I was able to pay for a lot of dental work I have been putting off because I couldn’t afford it. Dr Dillard was willing to work with me (and my schedule) so that I could get it all done! She’s amazing and I would absolutely recommend her for any and everybody!

Superior service. Wonderful staff. If you do not have dental insurance-yup-there is an affordable plan for anyone! State of the art technology. They snapped pictures (and x-rays of course) of my teeth and showed me on a monitor directly above my chair-I need not move!. With detailed explanations, viewing my teeth and gums, I was informed on all issues and resolutions. I very much appreciate being actively involved in the process with the information provided. Very grateful to find this dental office. Now they have me for life!

I have been seeing Dr. Dillard for years and she has always been professional, honest and straight forward. Recently I have begun seeing her dental partner Dr. Dundin. Dr. Dundin is a former Army dentist who instantly sets you at ease with her skill and humor. I had a difficult and painful tooth that she worked on diligently to be sure that I was comfortable and pain free. All the staff and Hygenists consistently go above and beyond to see that you receive the highest of dental care on an individual basis.

Everyone is very professional. My tooth was fixed quickly and painlessly. On another note, although, they seem to be taking the virus seriously, with checking temps before entering the building and a health questionnaire before your appointment, I did see someone on my way out, waiting in the waiting room and without a mask. It surprised me since there is mask requirement inside the office and they are supposed to make you wait in your car until they are ready for you. Not sure what happened there.

I've been going to Dr. Dillard for several years for myself and I love her, so when I needed last minute care for my daughter before she moved away for college, we went to see Dr. Dillard. Not only did she get her in right away, she spent several hours helping us getting everything taken care of at the last minute. Every single person on her staff is amazing, her prices are reasonable, and her office really has a great atmosphere. Dr. Dillard is wonderful, and I highly recommend her!

I am a Travel Respiratory Therapist and I am only in town for a few days between assignments. The people that work at Dillard are some of the best and kindest I have ever seen. They usually am able to fit me in when I am home. They are so professional and courteous whether it is a teeth cleaning or having a cavity filled. I came in this week for an appointment and all Covid requirements were being observed. I was expecting a rather painful and lengthy visit as I was having two crowns and a filling. The service was quick and relatively pain free. Their use of the most current photo equipment gave instant 3-D imaging of my teeth. It was amazing. I go back for my permanent crowns next week. This was my most pleasant experience in a dentist's office I can ever recall. It was for only a cleaning and x-rays, but the hygienest was the most gentle I have ever had. I've never had a complaint about any previous hygienist. This one just happens to be gifted with steady, firm and deliberate hands. I am every dental office’s worst nightmare. I’m a big baby, hate needles, and horribly claustrophobic! Not the kind of hang-ups that make for a happy dental experience. I’m a new patient, I had a cleaning schedule for March then developed a tooth ache, they got me in the next day and did the cleaning and initial consultation and found a loose crown and just glued it back on, very pleasant, I highly recommend them!
