DSW is great for their physical store, however I tried ordering through them once online and my experience through them was horrible. First of all, it took more than 2 weeks for the shipment to arrive. By then, the need of wearing this evening gown shoes has passed. So, I would have to return it no matter what. The shoes were never worn. As I read through the documents on return instruction, they asked me to use the return label in the packages to send it back to the warehouse, but did not give me an option to return it at the store. I followed the instruction, as they received the item; they charged me $9 for the return in shipping. When I called the customer service, the person was extremely rude and said, DSW never said you have to return to the warehouse, and if you do not want to be charge then you should just return at the store. Yea, right, I live 5 minute away from a physical store, if you actually DID indicated “customer may return items at a local store”, you really think I wouldn’t do it!!!?. Thank you for the terrible and useless customer service, ambiguous uninformative information and misguiding instruction on your return requirements, DSW. Sorry, I certainly will NOT purchase through them again online!!

I'm not sure how to describe this DSW. It's more of an old, dark, warehouse feel? Very cluttered and outdated? Not at all like the DSW's I'm used to. I was really surprised, because for the area, I expected something else? I mean, it's located directly across the street from a Ruth Chris?! However, the inventory was still comparable to other locations. I bought 2 pairs of the same shoe a day apart. But was charged 2 different prices. The older sales woman was VEry rude when I inquired about the price difference to my sales person. She rudely went on to defend the price difference with such a dismissive attitude coupled with an excuse that didn't make sense. (I don't even remember her reason now.) A gentleman, I assume was the manager, overheard the exchange and came over. He looked up my account, saw I purchased the same shoe the day before and corrected the inconsistency. Thanks to him, I was able to purchase my shoes.

Ordered a pair of shoes through the DSW website for in-store pick up at this location. Got an email a few hours later that my order is cancelled because they don’t have the shoes I wanted available. Called the store to see if they had the shoes available in a different size or color. After being put on hold for about 15min, I was told that no, they did not have the style available. Was super bummed but decided to stop by the store that evening anyway to see what else was available. Upon getting there, I immediately found the shoes I was told were “not available”. Not only were they available in the exact size and color I ordered but in two additional colors and a range of other sizes as well. Pretty disappointing knowing that someone whose job it is to help customers, left me on hold for 15min and didn’t even bother looking for the item I asked about. Terrible customer service.

Be sure to sign up for their free rewards program (bag giveaway specials and discount coupons) and make a beeline for the clearance section for shoes and bags in back of the store.

If they don't have my size in a particular style, at least I can see and get a feel for a shoe before ordering it online at their website.

If you have special shoe needs they carry brands from $ to $$$ like Dr. Scholl's, Naturalizer and Taryn Rose.  Just keep in mind, available sizes vary so you might end up getting it from their website instead.

Great for shoe needs all year round from rain boots, sneakers, leather pumps and summer sandals and even leg warmers which I bought here before a trip to Tokyo, Japan in the middle of winter.

If you only have one thing to start with for a SoCal makeover, besides a pedicure, cover your feet in style with some snazzy shoes from DSW.

DSW used to have great shoes for affordable prices. Since the pandemic they have fallen off. The men selection is way better, when it comes to athletic shoes. Sizing is hit or miss, and their clearance section is a rip off. Even with a coupon you aren't saving much. Amazon has had womens New balance and Steve Madden for way less. Even Nordstrom Rack has better pricing. It's ashame as the coupons they send me aren't enticing after seeing the prices. They used to have a very large public restroom with several stalls I believe and since COVID WON'T let you use it even after you've spent money. Bending down to try on shoes is hard with a full bladder. The outside strip mall may have one but who wants to chase down a bathroom when they are too greedy to let you use theres.

I've been coming here for years and usually buy all my shoes from DSW online or in-store. I love this particular location because it is in a nice convenient area easy parking and lots of shoes to choose from. They also have a great clearance selection. Not only do they sell shoes but also handbags, accessories, wallets, socks, leggings, hats, and a few other random things. The service is, 9 times out of 10, excellent. I've come across some very friendly and helpful customer service representatives. However, I've also had mean ones too. Since I order so much online, sometimes the shoe just doesn't fit and I have to return, which could be a headache. The line could get long if you come during peak shopping hours too. Pretty much the only place around to buy shoes, around Marina del Rey anyways. They have a decent selection but need more dude shoes. The store is pretty large but womens shoes takes up about 75 percent of the store... kind of reminds me of my closet at home. Go to the back corner to the left and find the sales and clearance on mens shoes. 50$ for chuck taylors oy....Same price as Amazon and you dont have to leave the house. They do have a rewards program here that my wife enjoys, she gets a lot of coupons

Great variety of SHOES, socks, handbags, belts and more. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Parking lot which can get busy. Use your coupons if current. They don't except your expired coupons per my experience. Update there system with your current and correct information. They send out birthday discounts. Thursday went again to this great store DSW SHOES used our discount. Awesomeness. Today I went back and could not believe it. Found my size great deals as usual. Love this store.

I was here on an early morning shopping trip. I asked the cashier if I could have the code to the restroom, she told me it was out of order. I saw someone come out of the restroom and there was no sign on the door saying it was out of order. This was ridiculous and I was making a purchase. In addition, the quality of the products are not very good. I think it is time for this store to close, the products are substandard and the sales staff are rude. DSW how far you have fallen

Customer service is non existent at this location. If shoe sizes get mixed together it's your responsibility as a shopper to find the correct item and then wait in line again to make your purchase. The benefit to coming to the physical is that I could find a brand that fits well. Now I can make the purchase from another company online rather than support a coming that isn't going assist it's shoppers.

I love this store. What's not to love about a shoe store? DSW has great variety, from slippers to thigh-high boots and everything in-between. DSW is housed in a conveniently located, stand alone building with a large, free parking lot as part of the Marina Villa Shopping Center. My only complaint would be that its not one of DSW's larger stores. More small to moderately sized as far as DSW stores go.

Its the worse shoe store for men! Everytime I make a visit to DSW Marina the men shoes are less and less choice for men and don't look for a deal in the clearance department because their is nothing their...lastly I was never greeted or asked if I need any assistance! It appeared to be a shoe store for women mostly! I had no use for the 30% Off I received in the mail A waste of mail

It is not the staff’s fault that they have long lines. It is management’s fault. They refuse to hire enough workers for this giant store. If you want to shop here, you can save a couple of bucks, but you will end up spending more time standing in line waiting to pay than it is worth. I wish I had a business where people stood in line for 15 minutes to hand money over to me!

You cannot possibly go wrong if you are looking for some athletic footwear. They have a huge selection for men, women and children. There are not as many handbags as there used to be at one time, but the wide selection of shoes makes up for that. My only complaint is that there was no restroom, which is something to keep in mind if you bring your children with you.

This is a clean and neatly organized store. The shoe clearance area has a great selection of shoes. The shoes are not all over the place. Nice shoe collection throughout the store and at reasonable price. I found a cute evening clutch purse for that night out on the town. The staff is very polite and helpful. Happy shopping …

Excellent location, outstanding service, reasonable prices, very large selection of shoes and other merchandise. This is my first time shopping here and I bought a very nice pair of shoes for $50! I was very pleased with the wonderful service that I received. I highly recommend giving DSW a try.

This DSW location had the worst customer service after I visited different locations in deifferent cities and states. Pretty dirty store too. It seemed like they did not have enough workers who could provide better service to their customers. Pretty horrible. Very disappointed.

Employees stocking the shelves weren’t quite friendly or helpful. The gal who checked me out was, however. Able to look up my account and apply a $10 credit. I am very satisfied with DSW’s selection and frequent the store when I am shopping for new shoes.

Came here to make a quick return and parked at 7:59. Walked out, got to door at 8:00 and people obviously still in the store, person working talked to me for a minute on how they were closed. Could’ve done the return in the same amount of time smh.

This place is good for finding sporty shoes or high heels. They have a good name brand sneaker selection but the rest of the dressy shoes are similar to Payless shoes quality with not enough assortment for flat shoes.

Customer service is non existant. One of the employees there gave me and my boys the nastiest stare down. (My boys were not running or touching anything, they were behaving themselves) I was appalled by her behavior.

I love the variety of brands and sizes they offer here at DSW- VILLA MARINA the staff is pretty helpful especially the manager Yadira and the associate Crystal. The associate Julia not so much!

Prices are okay here, you can find some great deals from time to time. Parking is free, store is pretty clean, and staff is friendly. Usually not too crowded which is always a plus for me.

I haven't been here for years, but it still seems pretty much the same. Good selection of shoes, although not as many wide shoes as I would like. Came back again and found a decent pair.

The sales associate, Crystal, was so nice. It's a self help shopping experience but she saw I was not moving well and tried to help me the best she could. I appreciated her kindness.

Pretty big DSW, with good clearance sales in the back of the store. Literally, rows and rows of shoes! If you want an even bigger selection, then go to their online store.

This is very good to shop shoes for new & current styles with her reasonable price. The only reason I give it a 4 stars was because they always don't have my size.

You need to be a member in order to get discounts and while there are sales in store they don't tell you what's currently on promo, you have to check your email.

These shoes are defect. One shoe is slightly taller than the other and causing me blisters. Nowhere when I bought the shoe, was it marked as defect.

Always a little chaotic and no enough tellers so sometimes a long wait to pay but otherwise a place to find a large variety of well priced footwear.

This store had ON running shoes. I couldn't believe it! I love those shoes! The store was clean, organized, and relatively well stocked.

This is probably the smallest DSW location I have ever seen. They carry only 3 or 4 styles in wide widths. Very disappointed.
