I order a shoe in their Brodie Lane store after i changed the address to Mopac store, everything was done online. I received email notifications that it's on the way even though I changed address. I never received a notification that there's a delay on the shipment so I decided to call after 2 weeks of waiting where it should just be 3-7 business days. The Manager on Brodie Lane store told me he had to reprocess it again and it should come thru the store in Mopac by the next week after addressing the concern. 2 weeks passed no update and no notification so I call the Mopac store and was directed to the customer service. The order was lost and they had to reprocess it again and was promised for another 3-7 business days. I was just awarded for $10.00 credit. Waiting for forever and will just award you $10.00 credit? very disappointing and frustrating. 2 weeks passed no news for my shoes yet. Call the store again and was able to speak with the Manager she reprocess everything and assure that it will be taken care of. I received an email that it will arrive Mon or Tue this week. Guess what they deliver it to my old address I told the Manager that I want it delivered to the store specifically so I could pick it up. The process was very sloppy and no one took care of it not until I keep on calling to make a follow up. Now another problem is who pick up the shoe. I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP AGAIN WITH YOU GUYS!!!! You made a very bad impression and your work is very sloppy !!!

I am very disappointed in the DSW Arbor Walk. I purchased a pair of Steve Madden sandals online, even though they were on sale they weren’t cheap. I put them on at home and walked around for a few minutes and they felt great! I was excited to wear them to work the next day and walked outside to my car and still they were great. I got to my office and started walking from the parking garage to my office and the shoes started falling off my ankles. The shoes have two elastic bands and the band across then top of my foot caused the shoes to “flip flop” and the band at my ankles kept slipping off. At that point, I was already committed to wearing them but they annoyed me and everyone in my office all day because of the “flip flop” and slipping off my ankles. When I tried to return them the store would not take them back because I wore them outside. How the heck was I supposed to know this would happen if I only wore them inside my house? I was willing to negotiate for store credit but no they would not budge on anything except exchange for a pair just like that. Uh duh why would I do that? I ended up donating them so I hope they do good for some one in need. Since DSW already had my money they didn’t care, they were not willing to listen to me and understand the issue I will not be shopping at DSW anywhere ever again.

I received some running shoes on Saturday. I tried to run in them on Sunday. They were terrible and unsupportive. I attempted to return today(Wednesday) 3 days from time of delivery. I was refused the return. The reason “these shoes look worn”. I responded that they were for the 1 run I attempted in them in order to know that I would be able to run in them properly. They stated “Sorry these look worn this is store policy.” I’m not sure what sort of training is given to management these days but unfortunately this is why Amazon is putting places like this out of business and why they have lost a customer in me today. I will be getting that return (I will just have to put in the additional work to call customer service and get a label and mail them back) however this has been a massive time suck and here is the question I cannot seem to understand with regards to their policy. How do you know if a running shoe will work if you don’t run in it?

I live about 30 mins away and called the DSW by the domain for a very specific shoe and color (Marc Fisher Bryte in Nude). I was told they DID have them in stock in my size. So i loaded up my 3 kids and drove the 30 mins in rush hour just to be handed the right shoe in snake skin. When i told the employee that it was the wrong shoe, he made it spund as if i had given wrong information. I told him that was NOT the case, Nude and Snake Skin are very opposite of eachother and i was very frusterated with being given false information. He said well they are sold out everywhere so you cant order them or go anywhere else for them. If that was the case, which it appears yo be, then the lady om the phone should have known that too. Driving 30 mins, 8 months pregnant, with 3 kids was kind of a big deal. SO FRUSTRATED!

Been buying shoes here for years, spend probably around $800-1,000 annually for me and my family, but won't be going back. Bought a $100 pair of Vans shoes earlier this month, they felt alright in the store, but I wore them ONE TIME and within an hour my feet began to hurt really bad. I tried to return the shoes and they won't take a return or exchange because "they were worn outside", because the sole had a small bit of dirt around the side. Buyer beware, they expect you to wear your shoes for hours in their store or inside your house if you want to make sure the shoes don't hurt you. I bought two $120 pairs of Saucony shoes here four months ago and those have worked out great, but I won't be coming back.

Just left this place. I was looking for some formal comfortable shoes, That have to withstand at least 15km of walking daily, so after I could spot a employee (15 min, no one asks you anything) I requested a pair of shoes with these specs, she was very nice but did not have idea of men's footwear, so she called the floor manager, I explained what I wanted, and she just named 3 brands. So I asked what model of these brands have the specs that I'm looking for. She replied "I dont know, these are the top brands, it will be trial and error" honestly worst customer service I have had in a while. I wanted to buy 200 dollars shoes and no knowledge and effort to help me find shoes.

While I was being checked out at this store today (around 5 or so) an employee shared her frustrations about being forced to stay an hour later than scheduled, and in response a manager told her that she was going to have stay even later. This practice is not technically illegal in Texas, but I find it completely inethical nonetheless. I told the manager that "somebody should let her go", and she condescendingly replied that "in retail, we stay until the lines are done". This is a policy which sacrifices the dignity of the employee for the mundane convenience of the customer, and a customers first policy always means employees last. Sincerely, a former customer.

This used to be one of my FAVORITE places to shop for shoes. My last several visits have been sub-par, not pertaining to their selection (which is great) but the staff. It's almost as if they are avoiding helping you, and even this most recent visit for example: I came in with a specific style, sold by DSW, and the employee responds "I don't think we have that here, but you can go check on those back 2 aisles for it." This is why I asked you for help! Or at least options to get it in the store??? I am hoping that in the future I will be able to revise my review for higher stars, but as of now, they need to brush up on courteous customer service!

I ordered a pair of Ralph Lauren shoes and it came in as a different colored than ordered. No big deal, I'll return at the store. Got there and since I had bought the shoes on a gift card and threw it away after purchase it was returned to that gift card. Ryan the store manager went over and beyond to fix the issue. After 30 minutes in the store ... He told me let me handle this and he did. I got the return of the gift card from visa and he also gave me a gift card to DSW for above the amount I spent. Not only is she INSTRUMENTAL in HELPING you--she KNOWS her merchandise and her feedback Is OUTSTANDING!!! When u are shopping with someone who is 90yrs +++-to be able and make HER EXPERIENCE great--with RESULTS--Claudia has to be "juggling" lots of things....she even offered us her "Personal water bottles" for our thirsty palettes.....(something the store SHOULD provide in hot climates!) Thank u for HIRING SUCH PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES AS CLAUDIA ROSE....can't say enough GREAT THINGS about her.

It is such a hit or miss at any DSW. If you have no concern for price it is okay, there are some shoes that are dramatically different pricing from other retailers. There is a great selection of shoes in any size you could want. It can get overwhelming with the amount of shoes in one place. However some of the shoes are not that great of quality which is unfortunate for the store. The sale section is there all the time, and sometimes you can find a really good deal other times it is usually a bunch of unwearable items. The staff is very nice and helpful though.

Really irritating when your looking for some shoes and the app the employees use to pull up exactly what your looking for and tell you they don’t have it but the store 25 miles away does. Then you drive 25 miles on a toll road getting 10 mpg the whole way to arrive and not only do they not have it and you spent 20 bucks in toll and gas to get the bad news. The girl at the other place didn’t know how to use the app right and in your size and color those shoes are 50 bucks more. Insult, injury, lime, coke, shake and serve neat.

OK now I KNOW that some locations are definitely better than others. The South Austin location is amazing; they had brands I'd never even heard of before and I'm a long time customer of dsw. You guys, do yourself a favor and make sure you are going to different stores! I made the mistake of only going to one location for many years.... I got these amazing tennis shoes by gola... Yeah, I'd never heard of that brand, but I have been complimented all day on my new kicks!!!

DSW has great shoe selections. Just make sure that you do not go shopping during your lunch break if there is a big sale happening!! There were 22 people in line at a constant for about 25 minutes and there were only 2 (and sometimes 3) gals checking people out. They were working as fast as they could, but had about 5 or 6 workers out on the floor. There were patrons complaining in the line during their wait...it was a pretty long wait.

Worse DSW . I placed an order for curbside pickup and when I get there turns out they don’t have curbside pick up. I called to make sure I wasn’t overlooking it and the girl on the phone confirmed they didn’t have curbside pick up even though the email says otherwise .The lady on the phone picked up the phone but didn’t answer I could hear everything they were talking about for like 5 min until she finally decided to say something .

This is a great DSW location. Always well organized and the staff is very attentive. DSW in general offers great deals on quality shoes. They offer a range of offerings from cheaper shoes to ones with real leather that will last a long time. If you don't find what you like in the store but order something while there, they will ship for free! They also give you $5 on your birthday so sign up for their rewards program!

Besides being very pricey, the customer service is very slow. 3 people as cashiers, one completely free and refused acknowledging that there is a line there. The other 2 talking for about 15 minutes with one customer about a particular transaction. When we finally got acknowledged they opened a second cashier with a very unwelcome face and attitude. The manager was one of the 3 there (Good luck!)

My wife made me go with her this time because she's tires of bringing me shoes that don't fit. My problem is wide feet so it's tough. The clerk referred to it as shoe heaven. I told her that this is an oxymoron for men. But I did find a decent pair of dress shoes and wonder of wonders they still had the exact same model of tennis /running shoe! I picked up an exact replacement. Score!

I am a taller than average person at 6' 9" and like to try on before I buy and do not have time to shop on line much for shoes .. It is hit and miss when it comes to finding my size of 14 or 15 depending on brand.. But no luck today. Lots of selections for the average Robert or Larry in the 8 to 11 sizes and prices are average for what I see. Stop by next time when in the Domain area.

I stopped in here today to buy some casual footwear. They have a wide variety of merchandise for men, boys, women, girls, and children. The staff is helpful in answering your questions and locating appropriate merchandise. However, you must select and try on the shoes yourself. Not a full-service establishment. They have markdowns and sales often and you can find good value here...

Very unorganized and unprofessional. Ordered shoes to be picked up within two hours and didn’t not get an update. After 24 hours I called and sat on hold for over 30 minutes while 3 people passed the phone around asking me the same questions. By the time someone finally had an answer she told me they didn’t have the shoe in the store and that she could not cancel my order.

Prices here are higher than they are at the actual stores or online (non sale) prices. Price tags even lie. For instance, a pair of Bezees say that they are normally $69.00 and on sale for $59.99 but, on Bezees, they are $59.00... it’s just .99c but they actual make you think you are saving. Not a single sales associate asked me if I needed help.

Wanted to give a big shout out to Destiny for her excellent customer service skills. It’s rare these days that anyone goes out of their way to help and to do it with a smile. I wanted a pair of shoes but couldn’t find my size. She located them in the store and brought them to me. Then let me know about a coupon to save money. Thanks, Destiny.

Literally the worst experience of my life. I ordered online for pick up and they didn’t even have one of my items in the state i live in. In conclusion I never got my items so i asked for a refund which they said they were going to process and it would take 3-5 business days… not an issue, but now its been 2 weeks, no email nor refund.

It took them 45 minutes for them to give me a pair of shoes that I ordered a day prior to pick up time. Apparently, they had been picked up by someone else and they didn’t have them prepared like the email initially stated. Makes you wonder if they ID people for pick up orders? Anyways, slowest service I have ever experienced.

I am very disappointed: ordered shoes online, one shoe was stretched/worn , then I had to invest time, chat with representatives and they sent me another pair where one shoe was different color than the other. I went and returned that to the store. I got zero refund because I kept the original pair. So much time waisted.

It's okay, but every time I visit I cannot shake off the feeling of "so many shoes, so little choices".... Only a limited number of quality shoes and the prices on those are like anywhere else ($100 for a pair of Birkenstocks, for example). The only way it ends us being better if you receive one of their $OFF coupons.

This store has a huge selection of shoes and boots for both men and women. They also have a mark-down section in the far back of the store. Their return policy is easy, too. I like that you can see, feel, and try on so many shoes in one place because it's hard to know what you're getting when you purchase on-line.

I love DSW. They have an outstanding selection of all types of shoes, in all colors, and so many great brands. They are always adequately staffed and the clearance section seems to always have a great selection of shoes. You can also find some amazing deals on a few handbags in the clearance section as well.

I got shoes that it turned out were too small, Tommie helped me to get it sorted out! I walked in so anxious I had wasted a lot of money on shoes I wouldn't be able to wear, but she immediately put me at ease and handled it. I was so grateful for the way she ran things. I have been purchasing at the DSW store on MoPac for years but Gabby stands out for her excellent customer service.

I came here to exchange some shoes that were poorly made and shipped to me. They made the exchange very smooth even when there was an issue reapplying my credit. I didn't like having to be inconvenienced by doing this, but I do appreciate their help and was glad I found some shoes that fit my needs.

I'm a fan. When I need shoes I make the rounds of the local stores and shop the clearance racks first. Have yet to not find something great at a great price. Staff is always friendly and do their best to keep up with the customer needs and store cleanliness. You have a loyal customer in me!

Fair prices, friendly staff, a nice selection of women's 10 and 11 size women's shoes which is great. Honestly, I was impressed with all their cute socks. Better selection than Target which was my go-to. Would recommend. But don't pay full price - they have loads of coupons.

I'm sure a shoe lover would be in heaven here, they do have lots of cute shoes (mostly high-heeled). I don't wear high-heels so my selection is limited but they do have a really awesome clearance section.

Meh, it's alright. Nice and clean but didnt really have anything I was looking for. Still had a good cross section of mens sizes and styles. I did find a few styles I liked but a size 13 is hard to find.

I came by at 10:00 doors locked. Luis came to door says store will open at 11:00. No sign on door... Says they changed hours because of construction... If that be the case at least put sign on door?

Good selection of all types of shoes. Head straight for the clearance in the back and if you don't find anything then wander the many rows. You can almost always find a good, if not great, deal here.
