This was my first visit to this location and I must say in all the years I’ve shopped and DXL and CM this by far was my worst customer service experience. There was a lady that greeted me upon arrival and that’s where it ended. No one ever came by to checked on me to see if I needed any assistance. I needed a pair of gray slacks which (on my own) I was able to find with a great price. Had I not needed the pants I would have walked out of the store. I walked around a little bit towards the male salesperson just to see if he would at least notice me. He did, asking "you doing ok". Honestly it didn't feel sincere, more like it's his job to ask. Once I got to the checkout I was finally notice. The lady that rung me up didn’t ask if I needed anything else. Just asked for my phone# for the rewards. Lastly I notice on my receipt it said Christopher assisted me with my purchase. Let me be clear, NO ONE assisted me while shopping at the store. I assume Christopher was the older male working and he didn’t as much say goodbye, thanks for coming in, as I walked past him leaving the store It’s also important to note that I was once a “first assistant manager at two DXL/CM locations in Los Angeles and Rockville Maryland, so I totally understand AND HAVE always appreciated the great customer service they typically provide to their customers. It felt like they didn't think I was the type of customer that was there to buy. I know this is not indicative of the type of service DXL gives. All customers whether they look like they are buyers or not are to be tried the same. I was in the store on Saturday evening 2/1/19 between 7:30-8:00pm

went to purchase a dress shirts due to an issue with leaving mine at home, experience was ok while picking the shirt out and getting the right size, but after leaving i went back in to see if they could steam it since i had to wear it immediately, it seemed like a bother for Nina and after her lack of wanting to help me she said it'll be a $6.00 charge. so after spending $115 for two dress shirt and taking up maybe 10 minutes of her time, she couldn't be bothered to do a quick steam to get the wrinkles out and was to busy sealing packages..... i told her if she didn't want to do to just say it instead of being lazy and not wanting to go the extra mile to help me out. this will be my last visit to DXL, it was my fault for forgetting my dress shirt but customer service is very important to me and it's what separates businesses.

Overall, pretty darn good, not cheap, but good. The best part is probably that they have suits, sport coats, and blazers which you can actually wear in Phoenix and are stylish. Too many stores which sell big and tall sizes only stock terrible bland black and polyester suits with full linings in plain solids. As if just because I'm big doesn't mean I don't want to be stylish! The staff is usually pretty good too, willing to help and usually fairly knowlesdgable. My only complaint is that virtually every collared dress shirt they sell in non-iron and the formaldehyde coating used on many non-iron shirts causes me to break out into a painful itchy rash. I also have found non-iron don't breath well or wick moisture away, not great for Phoenix. They also have a good selection of stylish casual clothes.

Most important part of my experience was the staff; specifically AJ. I immediately was brought to exactly what I asked for. When I asked for a sport jacket he didn't try and sell me a suit. Excellent service; not like Mens Wearhouse where I practically have to argue with the salesperson to get what I want. Fortunately I won't have to shop there any longer. Fantastic choices at DXL. This not a big and fat store - there's a ton of selection for big dudes who don't want to look like they're wearing a carnival tent. Nice, high quality clothing. Have a big waist and need some big pants - boom they got you covered. Big shoulders and tall, but smaller waist? Boom they've got you covered too.

Great selection of clothing and accessories for the big guy. Reasonable prices. Only downside was that the sales associate that I had asked for assistance from, seemed genuinely annoyed that I had the nerve to ask for help. I needed a size that I wasn't able to locate under a brand that had way in the back. I was able to find something that worked, however that associate just kind of wandered off.......the gentleman that showed me to the dressing rooms was very polite, courteous and engaging. When I went to pay for my selections, I was waited on by the first associate. Now, she was very interested in getting my information and signing me up for some "savings" club......

My big, adorable guy is absolutely NOT a consumer and hates to shop. For years I've had to buy clothes for him and bring them home for him to try on, this drill has been a real drag for both of us. A friend told me about DXL.... Praise the Lord !!!! Dragged my guy there, kicking and screaming. To his and my delight, we discovered that the entire store was stocked JUST FOR HIM. I shopped and put combinations of outfits together and he was happy to try everything on. My advise is definitely to try each item on ...we found that sizing varied depending on the manufacturer (label). Pricing is moderate again, depending on the label.

The staff here are amazingly helpful and for the most part the clothes are good quality. I only have 2 complaints about this store. The T-shirts fade very quickly(3-4washes) which is surprising when you consider the cost. The second complaint is about the shorts. I fail to see the logic in carrying shorts from size 38 to size 60+, but not having the inseam be any longer than 12 inches.You have nailed the "BIG" part but the "TALL" is questionable. Great store otherwise I'm just stuck wearing pants all summer till I find a store with a reasonably length pair of shorts.

I went in to buy a shirt and came out with an entire experience. DXL always has better and more true to fit clothing and came through again. Nina came over and made me try on a smaller size, which I told her, I don't like them tight, but after listening to her, I realized she was right. She also suggested I try on another shirt which was a better fit and looked better on me. I ended up buying both, and told her, that if I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely be buying more. Thank you DXL for always coming through.

The sales people are always most helpful. They give you some time to look around. I appreciated the sales person came to the dressing room door,asked if I needed anything which I asked for a different size. She went and got it hung it on the door for me and helped another customer. When she came back informed me they didn't have the size in the color I wanted,and said if I wanted she would have it sent directly to my house. Its always been friendly helpful service,and just want to make your shopping as easy as possible.

First time customer here. I gotta say, I'm extremely happy with everything about this place. If you pop in, ask for Cindy, she's incredibly helpful and helped me pick colors for my suiting as well. They offer 1 business day shipping on items they don't have in store so don't be afraid to ask for something in a different color, they might have it and you might be able to get it sooner than you think. 10/10 going back to this location place. Pants sizes start at 42 as well just fyi! Enjoy my dudes!

If you're a big guy, it's the best place to shop. Staff is helpful, friendly, and not pushy. The prices are high, but all brand name clothing is priced that way. Although their house brand is priced a bit too high. It's nice to have a one stop shop. Only problem I have is with the website and reward system. The two don't work together, period. And the fact their highest tier reward system doesnt include Jean hemming but pant hemming is just irks me to no end.

I DO NOT like shopping. Nina was amazing. She helped my wife and I pick out my first suit. Nina mad the entire experience so fun. I never felt pressured to buy something I didn't need. The store is filled with great stuff of all kinds. I never thought that I'd be excited to go shopping, but I can't wait to go into DXL Camelback again. Nina even told us about the rewards program. Thank you Nina and DXL for a truly great shopping experience.

DXL is pricey, but really not more so than other big and tall stores. It comes with the territory of being overweight. The salesperson who assisted me (Christopher according to my receipt) was unfailingly kind and helpful. I'm also pretty sure he was a wizard because every item I looked at, he took a split-second glance at me and told me accurately exactly what size I needed. He even picked out my dress shirt size on the first try.

I needed a blazer, a pair of pants, and a nice dress shirt for my school pictures and Christopher was so nice in helping me find exactly what I needed. As a bigger guy, it can be hard and stressful for me to find the right size clothes but Christopher made the experience so easy for me. I will be coming back to DXL to buy clothes and if you ever do go here to buy clothes, I highly recommend asking for Christopher to help you out.

I brought my husband in today to shop for a suit for an upcoming wedding we are attending. Nina made our shopping experience so pleasant and easy. He isn't a big fan of shopping, but this experience really made him feel so comfortable, and he loved that the store was tailored to his size. Nina took measurements and had him looking and feeling great in his outfit. We will definitely be back for more clothing in the future.

Nice variety of plus size men's clothing, many styles missing sizes 4x and 5x options. The store is well organized though, things are easy to find if they're in stock. There is a clearance room in the back that we did find some items at 25% off. They offer alterations on clothing as well, and you can pick it up in about a week. Expensive though- it was an additional hundred dollars to adjust/ tighten 2 shirt collars.

The store is beautifully laid out ,very up scale feel.The fact that this store has clothing that is very cool and made for bigger people is so awesome since most places selection for big and tall make you end up looking like your grandpa. The only draw back is the pricing here is prohibitive as most items are very expensive. Their HB brand is the most affordable,but also the least "Cool" if you get my drift.$$$

Horrible customer service. My husband and I came in to get him a whole new wardrobe and the staff member that was there did not acknowledge us. She was too busy flirting with a different customer. We tried getting her attention and she kept ignoring us. If you come in to shop and the staff member has long braided hair don’t expect a great experience she will ignore you and you won’t get any help at all.

2022 DEC update today I bought some normal jeans but you have to order them to the website still a great store I want to really like this store; but they no longer carry ANY 'normal' jeans! I shopped there in March 2020 and EVERY pair of jeans in the store were 'stretch' of some kind. Even the Levis'! After searching we found two pairs of old inventor 'normal' jeans in the 'back' room I bought one.

Employee / manager that help me look for a suit when it was clear he didn't have what I needed he suggested she was a retailers of feature in they can call custom made suits for someone that might work on some form of commission based salary that is incredible service he also helped me with jeans and some Polo stuff will be back in the summer to buy his Callaway men's shirts from them

I shopped on a Sunday and unfortunately found out that one of the two salespeople called in sick so the only salesperson was "stuck" basically being a cashier. Fortunately the store is laid out very logically so that I found my size in pants and other needed clothes. Prices a bit higher than excepted but my size is bigger and I cannot find clothes anywhere but big and tall shops.

The ladies tbere were so nice to me! Tbey were very welcoming when first walking in. The place sounded so lovely. Tbey helped me find what I needed and set me up an account with them. Management made sure to tell me about there app which I did not k ow tbey had. Also was given a pamphlet for future vists. I would recommend this place to anyone that has any doubts or questions.

I seriously thought Phoenix didn't sell anything larger then an XL sized shirt. So glad I found this place. The staff was point on, even got my son and I a water and put my name on the changing room door. I'll be back and back again! Thanks for having a store where us bigger guys can feel comfortable in and the personal touch was great! A great selection of clothes too!

Great supply for big men Casial or dress harbor bay great prices Looks good reasonable cost Plus major brand clothing however Pocket t shirts and there polo style Harbor bay are reasonable and are good quality. Far as the staff excellant people They go the extra mile to please.... If they dont have your looking for They can order and have to your Delivey to yo in days.

Griselda is such a joy to work with... I can call ahead and she starts putting clothes together for me. She goes the extra mile too. What I don't like, I quickly bundle up and chuck it at her face... It's more of a training tool really, she enjoys the extra attention. You can't go wrong at DXL, you could but sales rep like Griselda keep you looking good. True that.

I’m changing my store I normally go to bell but this location the worker I only wished I knew his name helped me find jeans after realizing I’m not the right size and need to go bigger he comfort me him being big&tall himself made me feel comfortable talking about sizes just an amazing experience even the register lady was lovely helping me exchange items

DXL is always great no matter which store you goto. At this particular one their service is very above par. Plus unless you qualify for a recurring role on my 600 lb life on The Discovery Channel you will likely wear the one of the smaller sizes they sell. These are not fat cloths made out of bed sheets; they are well made stylish and good looking!!!!

My husband and I are always pleased to find the largest selection of clothing to fit our youngest son. 15 years old and nearly 6'4. Of course he wants something stylish and yet comfortable and you are our one stop shopping place. Thank you DXL just wish we didn't have to travel 3 hours to the nearest location. Very busy in the store. The staff were all busy helping customers and doing a great job. Sometimes juggling multiple customers. Rod was helping me and others as well as answering questions from other team on top of navigating through a stubborn computer to order items to complete my sale. Great customer service all around. That's why I shop at DXL.

The store was set up beautifully, especially the second time when the cool new mannequins were set up. The staff was welcoming, without being pushy. I was shopping there for the first time for my husband’s birthday and found several shirts (dress shirts, t shirts) that he really loved. That’s his new place to shop now, when we come to town.

First time in the store today and I'll definitely be coming back again. Chris the Clothing Manger was very friendly, competent and helpful. He took good care of me and got me what I needed. My size shirt wasn't in stock so he ordered what I needed and had it shipped to my house. Again, great experience and I'll definitely be coming back.

Spent thousands here in the past few years of shopping was always treated well until a recent visit to this store. Store manager treated me like a bum and tried to accuse me of wearing and returning worn and washed clothing and wouldn’t back down from her accusation. Won’t ever be back to this location, hope her boss reads this.

Went there (DXL) after a horrible experience at Mens Wear house. Nina walked over and asked us if we needed help, and let me tell you this girl knows her stuff! I am bigger than the average person, 6 foot 3 inches, around 300 lbs, my belly is a lot like a Santa Claus, and I need shirts that are big enough and long enough. They have 2xlt here, and they go bigger. Walk to the back of the store, and check out the clearance section. I found some really good deals here.

Wonderful place and very nice collection for big boys with sizes going Upto 7xl also. Very supportive staff and the place is very well managed with various types of clothing placed appropriately. Really liked the collection and the cost aspect also very decent. Must visit place for any big boys needs.

Always shop here always had great service above and beyond even but this time it was very disappointing i wasnt dressed like i normally am usually dress pants and dress shirt today not so dressy and well i was ignored and no one helped me after 15 mins waiting will not be shopping here anymore

Nina was absolutely fantastic! I have a wedding to go to on Sunday and needed a specific color button up shirt, she helped me within minutes! The store is perfect for finding my size. I'm 6'3" 410lbs with a tall torso so it's really hard to find clothes in my size, but they had no problem!

I wear a 1XLT. I shopped in your store for 45 minutes. you have next to nothing in my size. I found one shirt and bought it. YOu are obviously only interested in the fatties of the world. Take the tall out of your name. It is a fraud.

The store is so size inclusive and the inventory is huge. There are as many styles and brands as any larger department store. To be able to shop without the disappointment of never finding the right size, makes it actually enjoyable.

It was only one person working in the store. I had to wait 5 to 10 minutes twice just to get into a fitting room and now I am standing at the checkout counter, I have been here for 10 minutes and no one has shown up yet.

They've always been super helpful at this store. I'm usually in a couple times a year (being a big AND tall guy), but especially after Christmas doing exchanges and spending gift cards. Great service and solid products.

A great haberdashery that has clothing for big and tall men. They have clothing on sale and I went on a weekday when it was not crowded. The fitting rooms are large and the store layout makes it easy to find your size.

This store was massive and had a wide variety of clothing. There was everything and every designer. The changing rooms were clean and tidy. The employees were very helpful and courteous.

It’s a huge store with a good selection of big OR tall sizes. Big AND tall sizes are hard to come by. STAFF IS GREAT. The offer help but if you don’t need it they don’t hover.

I've finally made a purchased here. Some simple t-shirts but was definitely worth it. It's some times hard for me to find t-shirts for a big guy. Definitely recommend.
