I have never been so disappointed in a city in my entire life. Tonight, 10/28/2023, some sort of parade was happening and something was happening at the civic center and all the roads to our hotel were blocked. When asked, the police had no idea what was going on or when roads would be open or how to get to our hotel in a different way. We could not park our vehicle, could not understand why the roads were closed. It took almost 2 hours to get to a point I could walk from our vehicle to the hotel while my husband continued to try to find a place to park. There was no mention on the news about such activities and being a guest in your city I feel slapped in the face. Think about your visitors before you completely close down downtown Dallas again, especially with no warning. This really leaves a negative impression with us and I’m sure we’re not alone.

Mike Rawlings is a typical, regressive Democrat who wants to ignore the racist, bigoted history of his party and try to hide the racist roots of the Democrat slave owners by moving civil war monuments. They're monuments to what YOU believe in Mike... Dividing the citizens into labels and groups... And reminders of why Americans rejected regressive, Democrat policies like slavery, segregationism and opposing the Civil Rights movement. The mayor's office is wasting mine and your tax dollars defending illegal aliens who shouldn't be here according to Obama's law of the land. Can we get some sanity here? Or at least sue the city for the money they wasted illegally and unconstitutionally?

Buddy you live on the Plano, north Dallas area, you are rich and stupid at the same time, what's your agenda for the black community pal? You have been in office for 7 years, what the hell have you done for your black voters, you beg them to put you in office and now you are ignoring them, you surrounded yourself with a lot of black slaves who do what you tell them to do, which you are telling them to shut up, keep your mouth shut, but you can't make me shut up......what are you going to do to reduce the amount of homeless people here in Dallas and as well as people with mental issues....

I think the Summer Reading Program was a great ideas! But my nephew goes to receive his rewards for week eight, on Sunday at 1 P.M. when the library opened only to be told that there were no rewards! How can you build up a child only to knock him down! I think the rewards for the rest of the program should have been closer to Dallas not everyone can go to other cities and send money for fun!!!!!!

Mayor Johnson, Please! Fix our city streets. We live in this beautiful city but our vehicles are being torn apart by bumps and potholes. McKinney, Lemmon, Oak Lawn, Inwood, Preston, Cedar Springs, Lovers, Mockingbird and downtown. They're crumbling! Show some pride. Fix our streets. It's embarrassing

Impartial "consensus" sessions, blocking entries to city council sessions when the attendy appears educated, makes this man as much a fraud as the other fascists he claims to despise. I would rate no stars but it would not let me post when I tried.

Dallas is a liberal, dysfunctional city awash with an idiotic city council. Need I say more?
