Really, really poor experience with the staff here. Incredibly rude and dismissive. Do not go to this car yard, support the other surrounding dealerships that were so much more pleasant and had incredible customer service and who are happy to answer questions. I found a car I was interested in earlier in the week and called ahead explaining I would be coming on the weekend to view it. The car was advertised as doing X amount of kilometers and when I arrived I was told it had actually done an extra 30,000 kms due to the odometer being replaced "but legally they couldn't advertise it as that". My partner and I were asking questions around documentation to ensure it was legit as if we were to sell the car down the line it may look bad as we aren't a dealership. We were just trying to cover our bases. The man that served us was incredibly rude and condescending to our questions and incredibly dismissive (how dare we not know the ins and outs of a car, right?) I was then told I couldn't drive it unless I was fine with it having an extra 30,000kms on it as it "isn't worth my time" as other people were interested in the car. I explained I couldn't make that call without taking it for a test drive as the car is no longer what I thought it was but i would still like to try it. I was then told that that wasn't an option and that was that. He completely wasted our day as we had to drive 1.5 hours to view the car only to be told no and made to feel like absolute garbage in the matter of 5 minutes. The man was a complete joke and someone I never want to come across again. I really hope the owner sees this review as this service was unacceptable and completely uncalled for. But something tells me nothing will happen. All this review will hopefully do is warn others to not waste your time with them. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP.

Really really poor service. I came in looking at a particular car they had and when I asked to test drive it the guy said he would only let me once my finance was approved. In his exact words “you gotta see it from our point of view. There’s no point in you driving the car just in case your finance doesn’t go through it will just be a waste of my time”. So, if my finance went through and turns out I didn’t actually like how the car drove or felt, then I’d be approved for a car I didn’t like on top of having that mark on my credit file which may affect me when the time came to get a car I wanted? Yeah cool mate. Good luck.

Poor customer service here. Salesman was more interested in talking to customers about anything but cars instead of helping potential buyers. Not allowed to test drive a car unless you commit to paying a deposit or to buying the car. Bit hard to do that without knowing how the car drives. I understand covid rules and regulations, but do not see the difference in letting someone sit in the car for a length of time touching everything checking it out, to taking it for a drive. Big time waster, would not recommend looking at cars here.

Ben was an absolute legend, answering all my questions honestly and even crawled under the vehicle for me to check a question I had. He was also honest about the all flaws the vehicle had so I knew exactly what I was getting. He answered all my calls and messages through the process, even days after I had bought the ute and he had no obligation to help me, but he did and I am very grateful. Cheers heaps Ben! Highly recommend Ben at Dan Evans. I approached this dealership late on a Friday afternoon about a particular car I’d been searching for, called within the hour and took time out of his Sunday to give me a video demonstration. By Monday afternoon he had a car carrier ready to take the vehicle up to QLD but unfortunately due to my own financial situation I couldn’t complete the purchase. Genuine guy and very thorough at his job.

I bought a car of Michael from Dan Evans motors he wasn't pushy was very helpful after receiving the car there was a small problem with the car Michael promptly got it looked at also helping me out with a loan car so I could continue to work I highly recommend Dan Evans motors as they were very thoughtful and prompt about my situation trying to achieve an outcome for me

I can’t believe how much of a pleasure it was to buy my new car from Dan Evans Motors. I know car salesmen get a bad rap, but these guys are unbelievable. No continuous pressuring phone calls. And all cars are roadworthy and ready to go at time of purchase, no having to go back in a week for pickup. I am recommending them to everyone.

Would not let me test drive because I wasn’t trading my car in or couldn’t say I was 100% buying the car after the test drive. Horrible customer service!!! Don’t bother. You can go to several other dealer ships and be treated 10 times better. Try fern tree gully used cars or fisher rogers used cars. 10/10 service!

Don't bother going here, wouldn't let us test drive a car unless we were will to buy it there and then. We were planning to test drive a few cars and buy the one that we liked the following week but he said "No, if you're not ready to buy it now I can't let you drive it.

Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere. Very abusive staff who are pushy and will tell you what you want to hear to get a quick sale.

He is very very rude & clearly just after your money! Doesn't care about the customer at all. Try to avoid at all costs.
