I placed an online order for click and collect on Tuesday. Did not get any communication at all that order placed, received etc. Chat on Thursday with 'M' who apologized system issue and confirmed delivery will be there Friday to collect. Having no e-mail/SMS, chat again Friday 'R' ask me to call my Click and Collect point. C'twon confirm no order delivered there yet. When told 'R' said will organise delivery today and update me on progress. Later Friday again reached via chat 'I' who was very cold and defensive saying 'getting ready to de dispatched' "limited information" can not give update! So, it's very messy way they dealt with these small order!. End-do not know when order will be there to collect ....... ****** After too much of dramas, one of their online staff managed to deliver at C'town shop on the very last moments on Friday with a 20% discount code on next purchase. So to be fair, updated my review from 1 to 4 .

I will give you one star. Gave a bike for service 7 days ago. No slip given with any details at the time bike was given. They were supposed to call next day to discuss the parts that need to be changed. One week later no call has come. No phone number listed for the store to call. No email to reach. I tried the chat function on the website where the rep took the details and told that someone will reach out soon. 24 hours later, no one has reached out. Again tried the chat. This time the rep gave a phone number to call, but it doesn't work. So they are trying to pass on the message to get the store responsd. Not sure how. If this is how you are running the service side of the business it's really appalling. You lift your service then I will consider lifting the stars.

I recently had a terrible experience with Decathlon. I had placed an order for a product on their website and after 3 hours I received an email stating that the order had been cancelled without any explanation. When I tried to contact the company to find out why, I found that they provided no means of direct customer service. Just a silly dysfunctional bot to reply back with canned replies! How disrespectful. The only option was to send an email, which I did but I never received a response. The company's complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction and poor communication made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Terrible terrible customer experience. We went to get goggles for our two kids. Most of the goggles were out of their boxes, all unorganised which made it a nightmare to match the product to the price and product details. After spending a good 30 mins fitting the googles based on comfort, at checkout the goggles prices didn’t match up and were $20 more than our expected price. So we had to go back and start from scratch to find the right goggles. Took 4 tries at checkout. Staff said customers make a mess and don’t care about putting things back in their place and don’t have enough staff so constantly reorganise shelves. Frustrating experience.

Great store with a good selection of sports gear and clothing. They also offer $10 vouchers when you become a member (minimum spend $100). Unfortunately, when I went to redeem the $10 voucher at check out, it had a 401 error. When I spoke with the manager on duty he said that he cannot honour the voucher and recommended me to contact the "online team". Interestingly, the decathlon website has no contact number or email. I also noted that other people were having the same issue and the staff were telling people they cannot honour the welcome voucher ether :(

I order supporting wheels and they not in good condition- I have contacted them via email for replacement or some solution as no phone number available. its been a month and I did not hear back from them - I cant use product which I bought and they mentioned on website that -"why we dont have ph number " is because response times are improved dramatically" - is this jock? - I really need answer for faulty product I bought - this is zero star service I ever received - unsatisfied customer My order Number is 80781

No refund for a torn piece of wear, reason because we removed the tag, customer agent asked what if it is from a different brand. Great service. This will be our first and last experience with Decathlon. Thanks much for your reply although without solution. Replying to the answer. Firstly the cloth is torn. Not sure how you will re sell this. Admitting this was a mistake that we chose to cut the tag without inspecting the material in the first place.

Nice and well docerated. Cooperative staffs. Free TT trial, lot of sports items, just obe place with your all desired items. Football, cricket, badminton, table tennis, billiard, basketball, cycling, fishinf, rugby, trekking, tennis, and almost every sports items you can get here. If you wanna buy some dresses, you will get thus shop as an authentic place. No matter what you are thinking, just come here and geam your desired items. Just awesome

I love Decathlon however the last time I visited I felt the store was messier than normal. I was specifically looking at beach footwear - sand shoes and jandals (aka thongs). The sizes were all jumbled up with lots scattered on the ground. Still a great store where you can *mostly* grab items at a good price. I do recommend still shopping around as some of their competitors have better pricing - eg. camping equipment, swim goggles, etc.

Bought a pair of soccer boots and shin pads online with expensive shipping fees. Their bad inventory management system meant they didn't actually held the boots. Instead of asking if I still wanted the $5 pads wit $20 shipping fee, so they simply cancelled the boots and shipped the pads. But I would've never paid 4x the cost of the pads in shipping fees. When I complained, they kindly offered to send me a return form at my expense.

Online shopping experience with this place was amazing, my best advise is if you're buying a roller blade, go a size up or even 2 to be comfortable! Had to go back as they were tight and my foot did hurt. They helped and i got a 2 size up roller blades and super happy with everything i bought from the guards, the speed of delivery to exchanging the roller blades to a bigger size! Would absolutely buy anything i need from there!

Staffs are very friendly here. I do not remember the name of other staff whom I meet on Tuesday. They were very friendly and helpful. Today I meet Laura, Behesti and another guy in reception. They all helped me to get the equipment I want, organised my deliveries . Five star customer services from each and every staff I meet there. Especially Laura and the team Thank you so much. I will be back again.

Super impressed with our first ever visit. What a range of products! Walked in to get a swimming costume… came out with snorkeling gear and an archery set!! well done on the archery setup area… got a purchase from us! Prices were great and the voucher to sign up was a nice hook and bonus… served by Ismail to help us with a few questions… great service. Very helpful. Will be back!

You must be a member to pay. If you don’t want to create an account, you need to wait for the one person that is doing other things to check you out. He didn’t realize we were waiting until 10 minutes after and asked us to wait another 5-10 minutes. I understand that loyalty programs make money out of people’s data but this brand should reconsider the store experience of its customers.

Plenty of good collection with sports equipment's and jackets . One stop place to shop for outdoor activities. Best price available compared to rest of the market. Update: I had issue with the size of the jacket that i had purchased, but decathlon made sure that i got the right size even thought it was out of stock. Best customer service. Really appreciate the staff support!!!

Manager of the store is amazing once he got involved things started to happen hence increasing the rating to 4 from 1. Leaving old feedback so that people can understand how bad was initial experience. Pathetic customer experience we purchased a bulky product and facing some issues in retuning it or getting repaired totally nightmarish experience. Will never shop here again.

Experience is so ………bad! My online order was been placed last month! And I haven’t received any dispatch email! The worst thing is the only one way to contact is by email! And no one response! I called Shops in Auburn. And they said there is nothing they can do, they are different departments! In summary, I don’t have anything update at all! And it seems no one can help!

Awesome place for purchasing all your sporting needs. A huge variety & competitive prices. After visiting various Decathlon’s overseas it was a nice surprise to find the one in Auburn. There should definitely be more of them, maybe in the North West or Inner west of Sydney. The staff were very helpful & friendly. The self checkout is super efficient

Used the click and collect service, which showed that items were available and in stock in Auburn. A day or so later I was notified that it would be delayed by up to 5 business days for them to get the items of the shelves. After I sent an email asking what was going on, they simply cancelled my order. F minus for customer service and honesty.

Lots of stuff, but annoying checkout process. I need to type in my email address and tap a bunch of buttons on a dopey touch screen to buy something? So, it's a system that inconveniences the customer for the benefit of the store -- gathering a nice juicy mailing list. I get it, but I don't like it.

This rating for Decathlon online orders. I have placed my order twice and both time they refund me due to items not available. However when ordered, items were in stock. Each time they said " we take these matters very seriously", but dont think they care about Customer satifections or frastration.

Laura had the best customer service and enthusiasm I’ve seen in a long time! My partner and I each got bikes and she made the whole experience fun and exciting, helping us with everything we needed with a big smile and great energy! We will definitely be back, 10/10 …

Today the staff was helpful. It has a lot of things for a picnic and camping. Sports as well. I didn't find all I want and I need to go to another store in Sydney and if I order online the things will come after 2 weeks!

Bought shoes online. They arrived with no box and a security tag still attached. What kind of business operates like this. I now have suspicions the shoes are not genuine. No contact number or online response.

Huge parking lot, convenient location, large selection of sporting goods, camping gear, clothes, bikes etc and everything in between. Competitive pricing and good quality. Came on a Friday and it was quiet.

The click & collect service is time wasting. They share the point with the return/refund. Took me more than 30mins to just collect a pair of boots. I wish I could rate even lower thank 1 star.

I have been to Decathlon in India and was excited when I knew it opened in Sydney. It has a good range of sports equipment. It is a great place for kids to spend their time too.

Got misled into signing up to their membership for new member voucher. Turns out you have to spend 100bucks at least. No where in the "marketing" was a mention of such a gotcha.
