Buyers beware. If I could give zero stars I would. We bought a Lexus CT200h from them in November and we are still dealing with the fall out. They told us the vehicle had a full Lexus service history, up-to-date service etc. This was not true. The ordeal started when I heard a squeak coming from the car on the drive back. I called the dealer and asked what it was. The dealer told me "Lexus cars make that noise, my dear.". I wasn't happy with the dealers response, so I did some investigation with the help of Lexus Croydon. They found out that the service was over a year old, the shock absorbers and compressor are broken, the shims are missing from the breaks and the catalytic converter lock was missing. All in all it's over £4000 to fix. The car was only £8450. The dealer refused to uphold the warranty so we had to send it back. By this point, I had left a bad review on Google. When I called to arrange pick up of the car, the dealer said they would not collect it, we had to deliver it back to them (over an hours drive away). They also insisted we remove our last review or we would not take the car back. This is illegal as we were in the 30 day return period. The man I spoke to was aggressive and accused me of trying to be 'clever' when I said "I'm only calling to discuss return of the car. I'm not discussing the refund or the review". The dealer hung up on me after shouting at me. The dealer seemed to be far more civil when my husband called him back and reiterated what I had already said. At one point the dealer even tried to insult me to my husband, but we were recording the call on loudspeaker and told him I could hear him. The dealer quickly changed the subject and asked my husband why we don't like the car. We had already explained via the finance broker about all the issues, so I'm not sure why he needed this explanation. If you have to buy from Dev Cars, I recommend recording ALL conversations with the dealer, because they say a lot of things to try to get you to buy the car. Get the car thoroughly checked out, and don't let them bully you or talk down to you if you find a fault. UPDATE: They're trying to say they in their response that don't know me and I have put my review on the wrong site/dealer. This is not the case. I have all the receipts etc to prove they're just trying to hide from their dodgy dealings. The car in question is reg FL12 FVF. Finance provided by CarFinance247 broker. If you bought it, good luck to you. They sold you a lemon.

This was most frustrating car purchase I have experienced. I paid for the car as normal with a debit card, and thought that was the end of it. WRONG!!! I was then contacted by Dev Cars a month later whilst on holiday saying the transaction did not go through due to an error, and that I needed to make another payment. After checking with my bank and enduring numerous calls from Dev Cars I made a replacement payment via faster payment. To my surprise, however, two days later, my account was charged with the original payment which pushed me heavily into overdraft, as the transaction is now charged twice to my account. Dev Cars could not explain why the original payment which was said to be dead, was and charged to my account. Although they refunded one of the payments after almost 6 days, they refused to give me any compensation for inconvenience caused.

It might be a little difficult to find the right door, can be missed easily. You have to look for the name on one of the windows. It is best to contact them prior visiting and provide few details on preference and expectations. We went to see specific one car, luckily they were able to communicate clearly about the car over the phone and shown on time. The customer service is fantastic. We found them very transparent and trustworthy. The area is very specious with lots of options to view. There are different ranges of cars of various make and model. They hold the cars with certain standard which assures the good value for the cars as a Customer. There are various options colour wise too. Tgey are flexible for test drive. We are satisfied to deal with them, hope you will have the same experience

Bought 2010 Toyota iQ from Dev Car Sales. funny knocking and screeching developed from brakes . Turns out the knocking was the brake callipers which had been filed to enable brake pads to fit. Brake pads were loose. Reported this to Dev Cars before 3 month warranty expired. They advised that warranty only covers engine and gearbox as stated in receipt. This wasn't a warranty issue this was a safety issue. They were not interested. Cost me nearly £600 to rectify. Garage who undertook repair could not believe Dev Cars did not accept this was a safety issue and should have paid or contributed to the repair. Very Unhappy. Buyer beware.

Found the car I had been searching for at Dev Cars. From the first contact to completion fantastic communication. The dealer was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and able to answer any questions. Stunning car exactly as described, priced reasonably and a very good deal with part exchange on my car. Was able to arrange to view and test drive at a time convenient for me. Relaxed atmosphere and definitely a stress free and personal service. Absolutely no pressure and no issues. Overall an excellent buying experience. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this dealer again.

Ignore what they tell you about a 3 month warranty, you have at least 6 months by law. Contact citizens advice they will tell you. Bought a Bmw 5 series from this garage, took it to a bodywork specialist to cost scratch removals. Found out bodywork was damaged and badly repaired all over. Would have cost me over £2000 to put right. The dishonest owner would not give me a full refund back for the car. Took him to small claims court and got my money back that way. If you want to buy a car from here get it checked first by RAC or AA or risk losing your hard earned money.

Had an excellent experience. As a woman buying on my own for the first time, I felt comfortable from phone call to viewing. They even changed the viewing day to meet my needs. Car in great condition, even changed minor things for me before a drove away. Couldn't seem to do enough for me. Driven the car for just over a week now, so far all good. No complaints. Would recommend this seller to anyone, had a really good experience.

Bought a Nissan Quashqai 5 months ago for £8750. I have done 1,000 miles and I now have to rebuild the gearbox at a cost of £2300. The garage informs me the fault would have been there when I bought the car. Rang Devs cars and they are not interested because it was out of the 3 month warranty. DO NOT buy a car from here unless you get it checked by a mechanic. This car was sold to me and it was not fit for purpose.

Dev motors has the worst customer service and the dealer is rude and arrogant. He sold a faulty ford focus that has been causing problems since the first week of purchase. The engine is completely faulty and has an issue of overheating, however, due to a nonsense warranty policy the dealer refuses to take responsibility for the problem knowing full well that he sold a faulty car.

Suggested to find car closer to myself if I didnt wanted waste time. Very unprofessional, dont waste time. Most of review are from family or friend. Its just ridiculous. Avoid !!!

They operate under the name "DevBuysAnyCar" but "AnyCar" seems to be a misnomer. Offered a price during an inperson valuation and when called to confirm the price made up a bunch of excuses and refused to honor the price or deal. Stay away

Poor customer service. The seller wasn't able to answer simple question about the car. The car looked like it been sitting there for a while as it was really dirty. So after 5 seconds I knew it wasn't for me.
