Absolutely ridiculous service, especially on a Saturday afternoon. They wouldn’t dispense my script without speaking with and wasting my doctors time. After going in twice for a simple prescription they screwed it up and wouldn’t even apologise, on the contrary they were useless on purpose, even after dispensing a prescription medication to someone in front of me when they did not even have a prescription - I did and they still wouldn’t do it because it was closing time, even though my scripts were on file. Had so many issues here with prescriptions I’ll never go back. I advise everyone to save their money and go to chemist warehouse instead!

Don't bother going here if you're after plan b or the 'morning after pill', we were told to go elsewhere because apparently the pharmacist won't dispense it because they don't 'morally agree' with it, I wasn't aware that it was still 1960 and trained professionals in the field of medicine were allowed to deny contraception on the grounds of assumed religious bias or moral conflict, absolutely deplorable to think that this still occurs in Australia in 2018, i'd highly suggest not wasting your time going here and I sincerely hope that this womans time in the pharmaceutical field is drawing to a close.

I visited on Wednesday 16th august after school pick up with my 4 year old boy who was not having a bar of cooperating. A lady came up to me and asked if she could help me. She promptly assisted with my request and pharmacy items whilst another worker at the till kept my son content having a chat with him. Over the moon with the caring friendly service from both women. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. When I was feeling poorly it meant the world not to have to further upset a cranky stomping pre schooler. Great prices, great service.

Been a regular customer here for nearly 5 years ( previously called Chemist King). Ive overlooked some questionable service of the main pharmacist but have totally had enough. His lack of empathy and care is appalling, not to mention his attitude. This is one industry especially where kindness should be shown. Any issues with prescriptions or anything, he's just rude. It's very convenient to go there as its very close to me, but will not return there again. Would rather travel a little further and be treated like a human being.

Brought a relax glove from this store and was to small and before trying putting it on I washed and use hand sanitizer for just in case I had to return it. In which case I had too for the next size up but when I went back to return it I was denied due to the covid-19 which is beyond a joke as they never mentioned anything about that when I purchased this item. So now I'm $25 outta pocket and stuck with something that doesn't fit me and have to go buy the next size up but will not be doing it from this store.

High prices NO PRICE MATCHING at all, old stock everywhere, and a terrible head pharmacist (Asian guy), he is absolutely one of the worst pharmacist I’ve ever come across, obviously he hates his job, why bother staying and dragging the whole shop down with you. This place is terrible. I recommend if you see this place and need a pharmacy item, you keep driving past this place and go the extra 5 minutes to a normal chemist, it’ll save a lot of money and possible trouble.

Had a Locum come to my house on a Sunday evening to see my 3 1/2 year old and was prescribed broad spectrum antibiotics. A number of pharmacies were closed. According to Google, Chemist King Surrey Downs was supposed to be open until 8pm on a Sunday night. The sign on their door also said the same thing. They were CLOSED and it was only just after 7pm!!! Very frustrated!!!

When filling a script for a new medication I received fantastic support from the pharmacist who told me to come back in should I have any issues or questions with/about the medication. A week later I went in with a concern and a different pharmacist was on, and I was once again treated with care and respect and most importantly, given good knowledgable advice on what to do.

Our local pharmacy, I have always found all of the pharmacists are nothing short of excellent. They are knowledgeable and always happy to take the time to answer any questions about prescriptions, etc. The staff are also nothing short of amazing - always happy, smiling and welcoming. A real family vibe (unlike chemist warehouse!). My family and I thank you!

I arrived at the store with my son To get rat tests and the owners already were closing up the store at 8:30. They refused to give me the free concession rats test and were extremely rude and defensive, even though they hadn't Locked the doors. They should not be closing early, they have a duty of care. Now my son and I cant test ourselves.

Horrid service never have the medications needed all ways have to order it in the manager is usless was a fantastic chemist b4 this bloke started was even better b4 it was a chemist king have been going to this location for 9 years since its changed hands i now refuse to go there so disappointed how much it has gone down hill :(

The pharmacists are very friendly and caring without questioning you like you're being interrogated. The store needs to be set out a little better though and actually have stock on the shelves not on the floor in boxes. Idk what it is but it's an awkward set up

Terrible staff rude wouldn't give me a refund for a faulty electrical item I had a receipt for apparently no manager on wouldn't even do a straight swap been shopping there 10 years never again terrible terrible service all since the change over

Chemist king actually in Surrey Downs shopping centre is a very good chemist the staff of friendly and the very fast when filling your prescriptions, just with the phone call.

Went there on 28 th of may.The pharmacist was abrupt and not sensitive to my needs. After being a customer for over 5 years ,wont be going back again.

Not the best chemist in the NE , waited weeks for prescription that I've already paid for , not much communication, been sorta left in the dark

Staff are always friendly and extremely helpful. Pharmacist explains all medications. Very happy, will continue to use this pharmacy.

The most expensive for products and very limited stock .. I will be sticking with Chemist Warehouse in the future .
