Seemed like a good place since there was a line waiting to dine here. Waiting wasn’t an issue at all, but the guy who seemed to be in charge was awfully rude to everyone. He then forced us to buy a bottle of water even though we didn’t want it. We then ordered the bruschettas , which actually were delicious. The Carbonara was SALTY like overly SALTY! Not enjoyable at all. The tiramisu was decent too , not too sweet not too bland. The only reason for the 2 missing stars is for service and overly salty food! Do better … RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Your attitude shows well even on the reply to the review. 2 stars now. It’s not about the 1.50 water, it’s that you pushed it on me, what if I wanted wine? Instead you make me pay for water lol. It’s a principle. How could I have sent the salty carbonara back , when all you were doing was telling people off and being rude, for all I know you would have yelled at me for that too. If I wanted to be salty I would have bashed on all the food I ate. Instead I spoke highly of the bruschetta and the tiramisu. Not my problem you work 16 hours a day, it would probably be better for you if you worked 8 hours and act friendlier and happier and truly give good customer service, because I can assure you, you don’t! I always tip at establishments that don’t charge service fees, especially coming from a country that we add minimum 18% tip for good service. Your establishment did not provide good service , therefor you did not earn a tip. Your body language speaks 1000 words. Anyways , good luck to you to do better.

Good pasta, cooked al dente in a delicous sauce. The ragu bologense and cacio e pepe (roman cheese sauce) had a good taste and the fresh pasta had a firm and chewy texture, being slightly thicker than spaghetti. Served with a bottle of fresh water. It was a dish to enjoy. The service can be better as we waiter wasnt helpful in explaining what made the dishes tasty or how we would like our pasta cooked. This in contrast to our neighbours who were helped when seated. We sat inside a moody and airconditioned restaurant with 4 tables, there are also 4 tables outside. What makes this place great is the wall of wines you can order to pair with the pasta. Price is good as we paid 11 euro per dish even when its close the the colloseum (but without view on it). Seems like an authentic restaurant in a rustique building.

This is the best restaurant I visited with my husband while we were in Rome. It was a recommendation from our tour guide, and from our experience, we know that recommendations from locals are the best way to go. Every dish we tried here was the best we have ever had. We had gnocchi, carbonara pasta, and bruschetta. Also, the have an excellent wine selection. The only thing you should be aware of is that the portions are small and you might have to order more than one dish per person. However, the prices are very reasonable, definitely cheaper than here in the US.

We went with some daily pasta with artichokes and mint that smelled funny yet were quite delicious and the panino burger that was made with a homemade sausage instead because they ran out of beef patties and that was again a tasty surprise. Definitely recommend. We forgot to take photos of the food because we were kind of hungry. The ambiance is nice, the place is small yet cozy - a great mix between a tavern and a pub. The owner is very friendly and direct - he knows what you want and what he has to offer and you should go for it.

We were sat in a tiny corner. Ordered two alcoholic drinks, an appetizer and a flat bread. Appetizer we wanted was unavailable, so we were going to skip it, but we were ordered by who we assume is the owner to order something else because we were two people. The alternate app was not tasty! The corner was so tight that one almost full lemoncello was knocked over when a big group was sat next to us. The lemoncello wasn’t good, but they did offer a second one and moved us. American country music radio was also unpleasant.

Scortesi! Dopo una lunga giornata a Roma ci siamo seduti per una pizza ed un bicchiere di vino e poi magari un insalata ed un dolce. Il cameriere ci ha detto in modo scortese che il nostro ordine non era abbastanza e praticamente ci ha detto di ordinare piu' cibo o di andarcene. Noto che era all'inizio del servizio di cena e che c'erano altri clienti che chiaramente stavano ancora facendo l'aperitivo e c'erano molti tavoli vuoti. Viaggiamo con un bambino quindi in ogni caso non avremo occupato il tavolo a lungo e comunque speso 50/70 euro. Un'esperienza terrible. Siamo andati via e andati a PizzaForum dietro l'angolo.

Wonderful spot, right around the corner from the coliseum but without any of the tourist trap rubbish that you get too much of there. It’s a little wine shop that has branched out into food. Everything is absolutely wonderful. Fresh, simple and packed full of flavour. Service excellent and friendly, wine list delightful. We tried various bruschetta dishes, the Roman style deep fried stuffed zucchini flowers with cheese and anchovy and a WONDERFUL cacio e pepe with truffle. Couldn’t recommend enough.

I came here with my family after visiting the colosseum because I saw the good reviews. I had really high hopes because it was my first time eating in Italy so we all got pasta and pizza. The pizza was cooked nicely but lacked flavor and the pasta although coming out fresh tastes bland. I would've gotten some of their wide variety of wine but after the food disappointed me I didn't want to risk the wine too. Maybe it's just because I'm used to food in the US but this place did not do it for me.

Top del servizio. Cibo squisito, piatto ricercati, porzioni abbondanti, ingredienti di prima. Ho mangiato una selezione di formaggio incredibile, delle bruschette con bufala e tartufo, oppure avocado scamorza e pancetta, tonnarelli cacio e pepe col tartufo, fettuccine ai porcini, piatti romani ottimi. Vivo per tornare qui. Lo consiglio vivamente. Grazie al proprietario che cura anche i più piccoli particolari. Mi sono sentita viziata e curata.

We stayed in this area for 5 nights and ate here on 2 of them. Very good food and mostly reasonable prices. Service was good also. I wish they would not allow smoking at the tables. The outside dining area is very small and it's disgusting to have someone right to you smoking while you try and eat. That is the only downside to this restaurant.

Friend recommended this place so we stopped by for an early lunch. This was my fave pasta (Cacio e Pepe) in Italy (over Tonarello). I despise al dente pasta and found this was cooked just right and was very saucy/delicious. Owners and employees were very nice. Tiny place but worth waiting a tiny bit for a table!!

AMAZING!! The best restaurant We're found in Italy so far! (We've visited Milan, Verona, Venice and Florence before coming to Rome.) A delicious salad to start with. Then the traditional Roman tonnarelli cacio e pepe. Then caffè and the best tiramisù we've ever had. We'll come back tomorrow!!

We had the bruschetta and pizza, everything was fresh & delicious. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass. The servers were very polite & the tiramisu is also a must-try. Overall a very pleasant dining experience, I definitely recommend if you are in the area of the Colosseum

Chicca in cui trovare locali e non troppi turisti. Sono stata a Divinostilia 2 volte e devo dire che tutto è stato molto buono è corretto nei prezzi. La gricia era davvero buona, così come l’amatriciana. Pasta al dente, ma non cruda (come purtroppo ho già provato in altri posti). Anche i vini sono buoni. Il locale è piccolo, l’atmosfera intima. Il personale è competente e disponibile. Davvero consigliato!

Fantastic. We are British tourists; reasonably prices food, excellent taste and wonderfully fresh. Staff did not hesitate to help out and were courteous and friendly. Do note that the steaks are quite thick though, so the centre will be rarer than expected.

We loved this place so much we actually went twice during our three days in Rome. I personally got two different kinds of gnocchi and they were both so good I wouldn’t hesitate to order either one again. The bruschetta was good and the tiramisu was delicious. The cheesecake was light and tasty and the chocolate soufflé was just like a lava cake in Canada. A great place close to the Colosseum.

Though the restaurant was small, it had a very warm feel. The food was awesome and had a very authentic local flavour. The restaurant team was small but they took all effort to make sure all guests' need were well-taken care of.
