Possibly the worst customer service. I booked a car and fully prepaid online. When I arrived he needed a credit card for an additional deposit. They would not accept either of my Mastercards as they advised they can’t use Neo financial. There was a gentleman beside me who advised his son works for Neo Financial and there is no reason why this credit card company would not be acceptable. I asked it I could add a larger deposit and pay with debit card, the man refused. I asked if they could accept my partners drivers license and credit card electronically as he would not be able to make it to the rental shop before their early closure. The booking was not refundable and I was not able to get my money back for a car they would not release to me.

I do not recommend renting here. Returned rental vehicle during normal business hours, but no one was working to receive car, so sign stated to return keys to Hertz agent. Dollar phones me the next day late morning wondering when I was going to return the car, which I responded it was returned the previous evening. Receive the invoice days later with additional charges for “damages”. Have informed customer service for further details as there was no “damages”upon return of vehicle. Still waiting +3 weeks with no response or validation proof of why I am being charged for this. I have rented numerous vehicles over the years and never had such a bad experience!

Customer Service has been replaced with Customer Abandonment! One week prior to travelling I reserved a van and had it confirmed.. upon landing in Calgary I receive a voice mail telling me they had no van! No return phone number nothing. I go to get assistance from the Airport Dollar rental manager .. I get the same answer.... we have no cars or vans and no offer of assistance! Again More Customer Abandonment !! In the end I spent 3 hours on the phone calling around and finally secured a van NOT from Dollar!! oh and I had to pay more!! If you happen to search car deals and Dollar comes up as the Cheapest, AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!! They don't have any!

The worst service we have ever received. After booking a car online and paying in advance, we have arrive to pick it up after a long flight. There was one line for clients who are interested to rent a car, processing a refund and clients like us who already booked it. We were waiting for an hour in a line. We did return a car over 3 weeks ago and we did not get a deposit refund from this company. They can’t send us an email that the deposit was requested. The car was returned in an original condition, no damage and etc. Customer service representative was extremely rude and he raised his voice. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone!

At the beginning of the week our vehicle died and we had to manage our life and also get to Edmonton for an important family issue on the weekend. Things were a mess but this rental for a week solved our car issue perfectly. Everyone was friendly, fast and efficient - and the car was perfect and cheaper than we had expected. We even had a struggle wit a third party website that we actually started the rental on - but Michael the manager jumped in and made sure we didn't get billed twice (which amost happened!!) - he was excellent too. We would go back here again in a heartbeat if we ever need to.

Rented a Minivan yesterday which was 2020 Dodge Caravan, mileage was around 8k. But the condition of the minivan was simply awful. Whole van was ravaged by hail at some point, which we can live with. But there are many other issues. Even though the mileage is so low and its 2020 but the noise of the engine and pick up of speed are really bad. Not sure what the vehicle really went through. Also the vehicle wasn't thoroughly cleaned inside. When the AC is off the smell coming through the vent when fan is on, is unbearable. Quite disappointing I must say!

I rented a RAV4 to go skiing in Calgary from dollar rental car and instead of getting a car that I could drive up to the mountains they gave me a car with no four-wheel-drive and bad tires and then they had the nerve to charge me extra when I had a reservation till January 2 and they said that I was late bringing it back because there didn’t have the reservation from Expedia I will never went from Dollar rental car again be careful if you’re thinking about renting a car in Calgary and ended up costing me $3100

Had a rental vehicle that was supposed to be dropped off after hours but there was no where to park the vehicle. The small parking lot available was completely full to the sidewalk and as the location is downtown street parking is not available. I called customer service and waited over an hour to talk to someone who was rude and not helpful. We will not be planning to use Dollar or Thrifty car rentals again in the future as the customer service is terrible.

Absolutely the worst service that I have had ever in renting a car . Stay far away . My cost was $1129 for four days when I returned my car on Tuesday there lot was full . They tried to tell me that it was demand which is BS as there lot was full with returns . Please find another place to rent from that cares if you have a great holiday not one that tries to bleed you dry .

We flew into Calgary January 31st and had not realized this Dollar location closed at 4pm. We arrived late to find the door locked but Lee and Anh opened the door for us and welcomed us in. When they saw our three ski bags and gear, they upgraded us to a larger vehicle at no charge. We are so grateful they saved our vacation from a bad start!

Fantastic service, great individuals working here. We got a free upgrade even though I had made the error of forgetting my credit card. Would highly recommend.

Needed a last minute car, the service was fast and polite. Got a good car at a reasonable price. Return was just as quick.

The guy at the reception was really polite and efficient. We got an upgrade on the car and it was brand new. Wow!

Picked up a dirty car there , the manager of the place was not very friendly , ( glad they had a car) .
