"Cozy, cool dive bar"
"this is a really cool bar if you like hyper-woke white girls who haven't had an original thought since before kindergarten"

"Great local tavern"
I get give it a good review when two of my friends got attacked in the parking lot of your establishment. I know that management was concerned and that's a plus. The parking lot is tight and should be expanded. It is very easy for fender benders to happen. My friends had to deal with a hit and run, followed by an assault.
Cozy, cool dive bar. Drink prices are fair, and bartenders know their stuff. I've never tried any of their food here, but both times I've been here the service has been great! Nice outdoor patio area, pool table, and a juke box (which could use some upgrades on music options). Will definitely be back! More
this is a really cool bar if you like hyper-woke white girls who haven't had an original thought since before kindergarten. i would rather take a dump in my hands and clap than give these people any money. don't waste your time, you'll have more fun drinking by yourself behind a dumpster More
Let's talk about dive bars and how wonderful they are. What they lack in decor and amenities they make up for in limited menus and quirky employees. Dorman Street does not disappoint. A great place to relax, get together with friends, and not worry about what you say or how you look.
Great local tavern. Bartender was engaging. Mixed crowd from the surrounding neighborhood. Felt comfortable even though I was just visiting. Didn't sample food, saw several dishes and didn't hear any complaints. This is not a restaurant. Good selection of Beers, Ciders and alcohol.
Nice...Cozy, Inexpensive, Friendly Neighborhood Bar. OUTSTANDING Staff Someone Would Wipe Down The Tables & Chairs, Etc As Soon As Patrons Left Old Time Juke Box (By 2Days Standards) & Overall Good Vibes Thank You Dorman (BTW, It's Been Around Since 1908)❣ …
Best local dive bar! I live in the neighborhood and I hit this place up at least twice a week. Great staff, great drinks and food! Couldn’t ask for me. Billiards is also only 25¢ and the jukebox is filled with classics. 10/10 will be here until I move away from the city
A nearly perfect "Local". Clean and safe. Killer mural of RC Cola on the outside. Great no-nonsense staff. It's everything you need. I really grooved on the vibe. Was happy to discover it's a woman-owned business. Excited to go back when I'm back in Indy.
Good beer selection. Terrible clientele. Bros and hipsters. The bartender last Saturday was awesome and tried her best to put on the Indy Eleven match I requested. Pool table is adequate. Outdoor patio very good. Fake dart board terrible. Music tolerable.
This place is like if Alfalfa, Darla, and the rest of the Little Rascals gang grew up and opened a bar. Operated by hipsters. 3 different bartenders, 3 different prices, 3 same mediocre drinks. It's always a gloomy day or night inside. Home
Save your money. Go to Fletcher Place area instead. ( nearby ) We were in the this area though and decided to stop in. Whoever the owner is needs to : get a new bartender. She basically :scowled at us: like another reviewer said. I mean she
A quaint little bar with a laid-back, yet hip aesthetic. You'll find an old fashioned jukebox... No touchtunes, thankfully. Every time I've visited the bartenders have been friendly and helpful. Their drink specials are eclectic and tasty.
Great old fashions with some sort of expensive black cherries. Great drink. Unfortunately I drank too many Monday night and could barely walk to my sister’s house which is only 2 blocks away. I fell twice and had a really hard time getting
Went there last night. After showing the bartender my ID she made sure to service all the other white patrons before me & my girlfriend. Even after waiting for about 10 minutes to see if she was really being discriminatory. We still didn't
Right at the end of the block, this place is one of the rare gems that doesn't seem like it shines until you put it under light. The mac and cheese is the stuff of legends. The bartenders are in tune with the community and what's going on
Bourbon prices are obscene. Orded an Old Bones neat, charged me $23 for the shot "Because neat is an extra half a shot poor here and Old Bones is top shelf" (yes its about $75-100 a bottle). Good place to play pool cheap if you can get on
Dorman Street is an interesting place. By all outside appearances, it's a hole in the wall bar with little to offer. But, that's not really true at all. It's an eclectic place whose denizens are varied. Depending on when you come in, the
One of the better dive bars in the area. Note, dive bar. Nothing fancy. Good craft beer selection and outdoor seating - normally a decent amount of smokers on the patio. Spinach dip and mac n cheese are good when you're drinking. There's
It's been pretty quiet the last few times I've been here (post COVID). It's nice to have the pool table to yourself, so you can get a few games in. Sweet music available on the jukebox ($1 for 2 songs! ), punk, classic rock, The Cure, if
Easily my go-to bar. The staff is nice, helpful, and respectful. Parking is never an issue, the drinks are reasonably priced, and I never feel unsafe. People are pretty friendly but they'll leave you alone if you're not up for chatting.
If I could give a zero I would. They treated us like we didn’t belong there. I have never felt that bad about myself, I’ve been several times during the week so I brought a group of friends and it was a sad w experience. I almost cried.
A great neighborhood bar, even if you don't live in the neighborhood. I'm there usually twice a week. The bartenders get to know you and give great service. The beer is cold, the cocktails are great whether you are having a classic or
Nice little bar with lots of table space and the most eclectic juke box selections I have come across in a long while. A well placed pool table is included with a nice beer selection coupled with some single malts to die for.
Perfect hole in the wall that deserves some recognition. Cocktail list was on point and the craft beer selection was surprising. Service was stellar as well (Ian will recommend just what you need) - will definitely be back!
Just a dive bar! Didn't try the food but they didn't have what I wanted to drink and when I ordered something else it was found to have bugs in the bourbon. Not a very good experience for me. I probably won't return there.
This place is a must for a good drink the bartender is down right amazing. Came in today 2/19 at 3pm and got a beer and long Island talk for a bit had a great time overall loved it will forsure make this a spot. Must go.
Cool hole-in-the wall place. Patrons and staff are cool and friendly. Reasonable prices, decent alcohol selection, and competent bartenders (one can ask for any drink, and it'll be made perfectly). 10/10 dive bar rating.
The drinks, the vibe, the people, all amazing. A true treasure! When you're there, actually take a minute to look at their selection. The bartenders know their stuff and have good brands you dont see everywhere. More
We came here to play billiards and darts with a couple of friends. The ambiance was nice, it wasn't too crowded, and it was only one quarter to play a game of pool! Not bad. The drinks were pretty decent as well.
Very warm neighborhood bar! No riff raff and race friendly! Black and white people fellowshiping together. I LOVE THAT! Jukebox had a variety of music. Just working class Americans enjoying social libations!
Just had a horrible experience on my 50th Birthday. The lovely outdoor patio was full with one table with no chairs. My party asked if we could take chairs outside, the bartender stated, “absolutely not!”
Very quaint bar tucked right on the east side of the city. Good selection of all spirits and aome very eccletic beers and imported spirits. Low key vibe, but positive energy in the space, id return.
Been here multiple times. Great during most hours! Only one pool table. Food is ok, the service is pretty good though! For a place that serves food, they do open a little late in the afternoon (3).
Great indoor and outdoor seating and a friendly at staff. Very close to downtown and Mass Ave. but yet in a quiet spot tucked away from the busy areas. Weekly and daily specials are fantastic.
Best cocktails in town of top shelf ingredients. The bar however is filthy. Great place for drinks if you plan on standing. And forget the appetizers which are overpriced microwave junk.
Dorman street is my go to dive bar. Has an AWESOME juke box so be sure to bring change. Good drinks and friendly staff. Service can be a bit slow sometimes but that's a dive bar for you.
Bar far one of the best dive bars in Indy! The staff is great. The the patio is the perfect place to sit and sip with friends on a spring, summer, or fall night. Also has great bar food!
1st time visit on a Sunday evening.... What's there to say about an old bar in a tight-fit cottage neighborhood in the shadow of the interstates cutting through the city?
Absolutely LOVE Dorman Street. It's an incredible, lowkey bar with the best jukebox in the city. Highly recommend their cocktails, especially the Berry and Basil.
This place is a classic bar, with a pool table, day board, etc. A simple, regular bar like this is becoming increasingly hard to find. The prices are reasonable.
Place is normally fine. however will never go back because bouncer discriminates against people who are there to have fun and or don’t meet their standards!
One of my top 3 favorite bars in Indianapolis. Doesn't get crowded most nights until 10 PM or later. The bartenders are friendly and fun to talk to.
Love the atmosphere. Terrible service. When asked what the pint of the day was, the bartender's response was, "It's on
Great cozy neighborhood bar. Excellent cocktails, atmosphere and bartenders! Pool table, jukebox, and a nice patio.
Our favorite dive bar in Indianapolis! Very warm and welcoming filled with wonderful regular patrons.
Favorite bar in Indy. Wonderful staff, great drinks, and a lovely patio so I can bring my dog!
Sweet little neighborhood bar, always found good service and a place to sit down when I go
This is an awesome place to relax with some friends. A truly great neighborhood bar.
Horrible service, small, dark, and be careful if you’re straight.
Great little dive bar. Would recommend.
Service: 5…
