It took a friend from out of province telling me about this treasure of a store. The discounts are At first glance store can be overwhelming (especially for someone like me who doesn't like shopping). Clothes are arranged by brands and not sizes or style so it can get frustrating quick. So some patience is required to find the gems hidden in here. To get the best out of this store, don't go when you're in a hurry and don't go alone. Had the sad experience of someone taking clothes we had selected to try by another customer while we were in the fitting room(cos we didnt want to take too many clothes at a time into the fitting room). That really was annoying. But we still had a good time shopping here. Clothes are nice quality and style. Staff were nice. Will def return. Now I know to keep my finds closer and never on a rack.

My condo in the blue quill area had recently burned down so I went to dots just off Gateway Boulevard. I chose dots because it's a great value for your money therefore making it easier to replace a wardrobe. As I was at the till one of the employees had asked if I was replacing a wardrobe. To that question, I explained what had happened. Ann Simard (owner) overheard our conversation and without hesitation offered me a sale price that had not yet come to be! Just wanted to say thank you again!

I shopped at the south side store today. It was a frustrating experience for me. I had limited time and although there seemed to be a lot of selection I couldn’t figure out the sizing set up and had to walk through every aisle. There were minimal to no signs on the racks except the great prices. Some hangers had sizes on them but the clothes weren’t always the size on the hanger. Left disappointed and not sure I’ll go back as I’m not a shopper who likes to linger.

It can be a fun place to shop if you are ready to do some hunting through the store as they have an extensive selection of choices, with limited quantities available. Some clothes are 'seconds' so try everything on! You can get lots of items for little $. For example on my last trip there: 2 prs of pants, 1 shorts and 3 tops for around $100. Add a purse/tote for $10-20. If you've got a limited budget, this is the place!

such a goos store! very indie & alt clothing. if you’re looking for ‘thrift’ style clothing, this is a great place! i go here with my mom once in a while. they have a very cute brunette, blonde, redhead etc. clothing line which is very cute. very comfortable and affordable hoodies and stuff is always on sale. (i got grey sweatpants for $10, black sweatpants for $9, purple velvet zip-up for $10, 2 shirts for $15)

Just left dots and had stuff to buy. It was ONE minute after close and she told me and my friend thay they're closing the till and "now would be the time to buy something". We left all our clothes we liked and were to buy, and ones we didn't have time to try on. I've never had that happen to me in a retail store. Shocked.

LOVE THIS PLACE. Went for the first time and now it's my favorite store. On the outside it looks like kind of cheap clothes (they put everything on sale on displace.) But there is some classy and beautiful clothing there for great prices! Only sad thing is some of the things I liked never came in my size. Love love love.

They do have some good sales and deals! The downside is how the store is organized. It's sorted by brand so t-shirts or shorts would be spread all over the store. It makes shopping there a bit of a headache. I wish types of clothing were put together rather then brand. Friendly staff!!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. It's a store where you don't get something every time. It's kind of hit and miss. But time to time they have great stuff and promotions. Make sure you sign up for their emails to get notified.

This is a great store to buy discount clothes and jewelry. A lot of Dots clothing is built for petites, but if you look hard enough, you will find good XL and XXL clothing. I love love love their dresses. Perfect for summer!

Lots of women's, very little men's selection however. Great staff and clean. The floor space is a little congested but there are lots of options.

Bargains! Fun clothing lines--some not usually found in Canada but some are sample sizes 6, sometimes 8. I love the variety.

The people are SUPER nice, and the clothing is amazing. The prices are nice and they have alot of really nice clothes.
