"I haven't fished there yet , I heard about it in a post going tomorrow out in kayak, I heard some young lads were near house across the lake and some people were yelling at them so I hope those lads will be there tomorrow morning when I get there because I'd like to give those people a piece of my mind"

Located at West Lakes this is a great place to launch a kayak especially for newbies learning the ropes as this is quite a sheltered and safe area without any strong tidal movements. Can still be a tough paddle here on a windy day though.
Amazing little beach, we had an amazing time today, loved having it to ourselves. However toilets are gross, there was an adult poop in front of the ladies toilet and lots of rubbish on the beach. More
It is my absolute favourite place to be. The visitors are so friendly and you can sun bake, go fishing, go for a swim, Kayake, Canoe, have a picnic & it has public toilets that aren't all flashy, but
Easy parking with a great view. Nice beach like area on the lake with green grass to sit and can easily launch a kayak or small boat (motor boat not allowed in lake). Bring some food and enjoy
Good place to launch a boat, kayak or paddle board with a small sandy beach. Reasonable size carpark and there are also restrooms
It's great my grsndson loves going there he has had a swim, gone fishing and kayaking.
Dotterer Reserve is maintained by Charles Sturt Council, there is no play equipment
