I began going to Downtown Dental just this month, and I've already had the best experience of any dentist I have been too (both in Canada and the U.S.)! My hygienist Lyndsey was incredibly welcoming, genuine, professional, patient, and extremely thorough every step of the way! One of the things I have appreciated most about my experience here is how they empower their patients with the information to take control of their own health. The initial 3-hour appointment gave me more information about my teeth and the health of my mouth (and how it related to my breathing, my posture, etc.) than I've ever received from all previous dentists combined. Lyndsey took the time to find out my goals for my oral health, gave me a clear and articulate overview of where my oral health was at (after a cleaning and getting a good look at the inside of my mouth through various means), and went over all my options for the work I needed to have done. After all that, she took the time to answer any and all questions I had (and I tend to ask a lot of questions) and graciously and happily repeated information she had already shared (because I struggle with selective listening). Additionally, when I met with Dr. Clark during that appointment, he and Lyndsey went over everything we had been discussing prior to his arrival, and I greatly appreciated how they included me in that conversation, and did not make me feel like a bystander to other people discussing my health! That patient-involvement is something I have never experienced at a dentist before (and if I'm honest, with other heath professionals), but had not truly realized it until that moment. Overall, the team at Downtown Dental have been patient, kind, communicative, and so helpful in relaying information about my insurance coverage, costs, and options. My visits to Downtown Dental continue to make me feel like I am in control of my health and working toward my health goals, with support from a caring and professional team that is eager to help me get there. This is my very FIRST time at this dental clinic and my 1st time EVER writing a review on a dental visit. ((Background: I’m new to Nashville and came to this dental clinic because a friend of mine told me that he “loves his dentist.” I’ve never heard anyone say that before about a dentist so that comment motivated me to check it out myself.)) I called the office needing to have an appointment in less than 24 hours and Jalesa, the front desk staff was EXCEPTIONALLY professional and kind in trying to meet my need on such short notice and thankfully she was able to accommodate me on the schedule. My dental hygienist was Lyndsey and she was nothing short of PHENOMENAL! Lyndsey patiently explained my results to me, the expectations and plan of care. I felt cared for and that I mattered. She even helped me figure out where to go for last minute shopping in the area, which I was so grateful for. I later met Dr. Clark and I was able to see firsthand why my friend said he loved him :)) Dr. Clark has a warm personality and demonstrated GREAT bedside manner, and was very thorough in explaining my scans and key things I’ll need to follow up on with my PCP. Overall, this was a memorable experience. If ever I were to own a business, I would have it so my patients would feel as valued as I did during my visit. Thank you :)

Dr. Clark and his staff changed my life. They have given me the most exceptional dental/health care a person could possibly receive. I had a full dental restoration to help solve TMJ/TMD headaches, a bad bite, and crowns that were continually popping off. As a bonus, they also took pressure off my ear canal, reducing ear infections and also restoring my hearing- totally unexpected, but tested and proven by my hearing Doc. I am back living a normal life again and not planning time sick or hurting from activities that caused me pain- flying, chewing...even yawning. My teeth also look amazing and someone commented that I look like a walking toothpaste commercial a few weeks ago. Everyone in the office is wonderful, but Amanda is really an amazing person. She remembers everything about me and my wife, knows how to deal with me (a difficult personality), and is just flat out fantastic at what she does. Thank you, Amanda, and everyone else at that office. I can tell you all genuinely care. It's relatively expensive, but I've spent more over the past 20 years on ineffective half measures than I did on a one-time expense that made life a hell of a lot better for me. I think about that office when I'm doing activities I was never able to do before. Oh, and parking sucks. Deal with it.

I have been trying for one month to get my money back from this establishment with no success. I had signed up for their TMD program and decided it was not a good fit for me. It wasn't working out for my body and so asked for a full refund back at the end of July of 2021. It is now the end of August and I still do not have my money. Most reputable companies refund your money right away within a week! I have called multiple times and keep getting told it will take "3-5 business days"...it's been 30 days!!! DING DING DING!!! UPDATE!!! So after a conversation with Jenny in billing we finally got the whole issue resolved to my satisfaction. I got my money back and I"m happy. Through no fault of theirs it was with their billing people, granted it shouldn't have taken a month, but at least it was resolved and I want to thank Jenny for following up with me. Thank you for resolving this problem. :)

Above and beyond! I’m still thinking about the stellar service and care I received from Downtown Dental, two days after my intake and cleaning. From beginning to end, every team member took such great care of me. The professionalism, friendliness, and clear communication really made making an appointment that could work with my schedule a breeze. Their online portal for paperwork was a breeze too. At my appointment, Lindsay was incredible. She took her time and really gave me a rundown on everything going on with my teeth. I learned a lot! Then she gave me a terrific cleaning! My teeth feel cleaner than they ever have!!! Last, Dr. Patrick talked me through a couple items in my dental history which other dentists have missed. And advised me on what dental work might be needed in the future. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you Downtown Dental!

I’ve been a patient at downtown dental for 21 years. Words can not describe how awesome they are. Dr. Clarke and his staff are always are so caring and accommodating. They go above and beyond to take care of you. For instance today I called with tooth pain and Dr Clarke seen me during his lunch break. I left with a diagnosis and a treatment plan. They have great procedures and protocols in place for covid-19. They have even made modifications remodeling their offices to keep patients safe and healthy. Even though they are downtown don’t let that put you off. They have free convenient parking at their building. I would give them 10 stars if I could and would not consider going anywhere else for my dental needs. Thank you Dr. Clarke, Jenny and the rest of the Downtown dental staff.

Went in for my initial patient appointment and couldn’t have had a better experience. Lyndsey was absolutely exceptional. I have not been to the dentist in far longer than I’d care to admit, however Lyndsey and Dr. Clark cultivated such a relaxing and nonjudgmental space. It helps that the office itself has a great layout, is clean and cute! Lyndsey made sure to educate me fully on what and why certain steps need to be taken for treatment, both short term and long term. Dr. Clark was also kind and professional, especially in helping me understand what needs to be addressed. Thank you to Lyndsey, Dr. Clark and team! I work for a dental office in another state, so to say I am picky when it comes to my own dental care is an understatement. Dr Clark and Downtown Dental Nashville provided me the best dental experience during my most recent trip to Nashville for work, I broke a tooth and had a crown emergency! I could tell from the first email with Downtown Dental Nashville this place is top notch all around with the professionalism and above and beyond customer service. From the beginning they handled of my care with urgency and in a manner that allowed me to heal quickly and return to the rest of my trip - - I will be forever grateful. Thanks for being great!

Outstanding! This morning, I had a delightful, rejuvenating time - getting 6 cavities filled! I truly cannot say enough about how Downtown Dental makes me feel cared for as a person. I typically have a lot of anxiety at the dentist, but Dr. Patrick, Jordan, & Lindsey have gone above and beyond to help me feel comfortable, informed, and in control at their clinic. I found it easy to relax under their care because I trust them and know they care about me & how I feel. Jaleesa even personally checked in on me to make sure I got some safely after my appointment. I am actually looking forward to going back to the dentist now. Highly recommend!

My anxiety at the dentist is extreme at most times. My wife recommended the team at Downtown Dental to me so I gave them a shot. They are all very nice and accommodating. They always make sure I'm comfortable and also give me different options to help with my comfort level. They are as cutting edge as you can ask a dental office to be. They assessed my situation and gave recommendations for other specialists as well. Their prices are are cheaper or on par with most other places as I've had alot of work done in the past. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs work or just a new dentist for regular cleanings and such.

I'm including 2 stars because the dentist and his assistant were extremely nice and knowledgeable. But the business practices leave a little something to be desired. Not only did they never follow-up about my recommended treatment despite being prompted twice by me, they requested full upfront pricing on a service that was covered by my dental plan. What's the point of insurance? The icing on the cake was the random text this summer regarding a small unpaid balance that they also never communicated FOR TWO YEARS (appt was in 2020) despite having my email, address and phone number. I paid it but sheesh, get it together.

I had a really miserable experience with downtown dental. This included: - long wait times for scheduled appointments, once they were as long as 45 minutes late to begin. - pushy and uncomfortable experience around mouthguards. They made me schedule a separate appointment with a woman that I don't think had a dental background to sell me a higher end mouthguard. Felt like she read a sales book the week before and was implementing all that she learned for the first time. - annoying texts around appointments and scheduling, even after I told them I wasn't coming back to them Overall bad vibes. I would not recommend.

I’ve been visiting Downtown Dental for many, many years and had another very positive experience there today with Dr. Clark and Elissa, one of his dental assistants. I’m grateful for their long term interest in the health of my teeth and am thankful Dr. Clark has some of the most up to date dental equipment & technology available today. The entire DD staff makes you feel welcome, from appointment setting to dental hygiene to maintenance work that needs to be done. This is easily the best dentist I've ever been to. From the very beginning, I felt heard, taken care of, and well respected as a patient. I was able to send emails to book an appointment, send my insurance over email, and book an appointment within just a few hours. Brittany was fantastic, and took care of me every step of the way. Part of the great experience was because of good insurance, but even then their pricing is very competitive with other dentists. When they clean your teeth, get birthday cake. It's definitely awesome. This was the most enjoyable experience I've ever had at a dentist.

Downtown Dental is an extraordinary dental office. Dr. Clark is exceptional in his expertise, ability to explain issues and remedies, approaches to care, personableness, and exhibits a patient and kind demeanor. His staff is top notch as well. All are extremely competent, caring, and attuned to a patient's needs and experience. In addition, the office equipment is state of the art. It is easy to get to the office from the Interstate or local roads. Free parking is available next to the office. I highly recommend Downtown Dental; you will be in competent and caring hands.

Dr Clark has a great team that is very professional and friendly. I've just had 7 old metal fillings replaced. Some were replaced with fillings, others with crowns or partial crowns. They ensure that you are comfortable during the procedures as well as communicate clearly about what each procedure entails. Dr Clark has a very high standard of work. Although crowns are very costly, they are in network with Cigna, which helps keep the cost down. I've been going to the practice for years for my cleanings too and think they offer a very thorough service.

Dr. Daron and his team are absolutely phenomenal! The patient care provided by his office is like nothing I have experienced before. Each team member I came into contact with was kind and full of smiles from the time I entered until I left. They are so knowledgeable and explain everything to you each step of the way and ensure you are confident and comfortable with your treatment plan. I was referred to them by a co-worker and I will refer them to anyone that asks. I cannot express enough how great they are, if I could give ten stars I would!

I went to Downtown Dental for the past several months for their TMD care. Although they ultimately were not able to help me, I truly appreciate how the situation was handled by Dr. Clark. I appreciate the integrity he has, and the length they went to to make the situation better. He is a highly regarded dentist that I'm sure can help people in most situations. I have worked in the dental industry for 15 years. When we recently moved to Nashville it was really important to me to find a dentist who valued continuing education, invested in state of the art equipment and provided quality care and restorations for their patients. I’m so happy with Dr. Clark and his team they are all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. My husband is very afraid of the dentist and Dr. Clark made him feel comfortable...he also has technology to help combat anxiety. I highly recommend Dr. Clark and his team.

With there being a dentist in my family, until I moved to Nashville I never had to worry about finding a good dentist, as I was related to one! I initially went to Downtown Dental because of its extremely convenient location, and I will continue to go back for a long time because of the great experience I had. The office is very clean and high-tech, the staff is extremely welcoming, and my dental hygienist, Andrea, as well as Dr. Clark were extremely informative and explanatory in all aspects of my visit!

Best dentist experience ever. I see why many of my friends recommended this practice. I normally have a ton of anxiety at the dentist, because I’m usually not listened to regarding my jaw hurting. However I was very much listened to here. Everyone was extremely kind. I was working with Lyndsey and she is the absolute best! She was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot, she did a deep dive on everything contributing to dental health. I’m so glad to have found this place! 10/10 recommend :)

The appointment scheduling process was a breeze. Completed all my paperwork before I arrived via email. Amazing. Once I acknowledged who I was , I was barely warm in my seat before I was called. The nicest lady came for me and made me feel right at home. Even though she's from Wisconsin she made me feel right at home lol. The most informative and comfortable exam process. I was on a time crunch and they accommodated very understanding. As a Nashville native, I recommend this place 100%.

I have a great experience every time I go see Dr. Clark and the crew at Downtown Dental. Lindsey is a great hygentist. Today in particular I had to have my first crown. Check me off the list! I love that they make the crown in house so you leave with your permanent one. Amanda was amazing. She actually built my crown and it fits like a glove. Part of any great experience is being opened to it. They exemplify what great customer service is. I appreciate it and highly recommend them!

I’ve been going to Dr. Clark for a few years and can whole heartedly say he’s the best dentist I’ve had. He and his team are thorough, yet efficient, and they don’t try to sell you on unnecessary work (my biggest pet peeve about dentists!) On top of that, they’re just nice and a pleasure to be around. My husband now goes there as well, and I know he’s happy with them because he drives 20 minutes in the opposite direction from his office to get there. That’s loyalty!

I had been searching for a new dentist when I started a new job downtown and Dr. Clark and his office was highly recommended by coworkers. The office staff is amazing, fun, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I needed a good deal of restorative work done. They accommodated my request to get it all done in one day, pretty much. My experience with Downtown dental has been very good. They are efficient at performing the work needed or requested, also polite and easy to work with. They are also proactive when it comes to educating me on different ways to improve the health of my teeth and gums. They go above and beyond any dentist I have ever been to. I’ve moved many times and been to many dentists, including another one in nashville that I left because I didn’t like them. Very picky, especially when it comes to doctors try to push things on you that you don’t need. Downtown dental is great. Love Leah and Dr Clark is great; he will explain what he’s doing and why. Been there for probably five years since, even after it became less convenient after starting to work from home.

Downtown Dental was a great first experience. I had a not-so-great visit at another downtown Nashville dentist and decided to try these guys instead. They were super thorough, patient, and just the right balance of conservative and proactive in their treatment options. As someone with sensitive gums, Lynsey gave the gentlest cleaning I can remember. They helped with all things insurance also. All in all, very impressed so far!

I work downtown, so this is an EXTREMELY convenient location for me. I was a little nervous when I first went, as I know how expensive downtown Nashville can get; however, I will continue to go to Downtown Dental. Everyone has always been so pleasant towards me. This is by far the best Dental Office I’ve been to! I have been going here regularly for over two years, and everyone is always so friendly and they do great work (shout out to Lindsey who did my last cleaning so well!). They seem to genuinely care about your oral heath. I have recommended multiple colleagues to go here since it’s so convenient to my current and previous office, and they have always had a good experience.

Honestly one of the greatest dental experiences ever. I know i say dental experience like it’s Disney, but seriously. This is not the type of dentist office that just says “you should floss more, see ya in a year.” No these guys were giving me very constructive information showing where dental health affects almost all health. Love everything about this team! Everyone is kind, helpful, and I look forward to meeting with them. At first I was nervous about it being Downtown but I’ve never had a problem parking. They make everything frictionless. Also you’ve never had a crown until you’ve had them make you one, trust me. My old crowns look like popcorn kernels compared to the ones they do. They even hand stain them to match your real teeth!

Absolutely incredible experience as a new patient! Lyndsey really knows how to make you feel comfortable and addressed all of my concerns with meticulous detail. I've been coming here for about 18 years and have ALWAYS felt like part of the family. I started with Dr. Fesmire and now Dr Clark and every tech that has worked on my son and I. I've been bringing him there every 6 months since he was 3 and he's 13 almost 14 now! Wonderful service! Leah kicks absolute @$$ — she was so knowledgeable and thoughtful and considerate. She taught me lots of important things about my teeth, mouth, throat, tongue, and sinuses (!!! Hello!) and explained the long term implications of some of my dental concerns. And all the while remained decidedly unpushy about it. Everyone I encounter was great. THIS is special dental care!!

The absolute best dentist office ever. The staff is sweet, sincere, and gentle. Dr. Clark is awesome, he is very gentle as well and he does wonderful work. I drive from Fayetteville, TN about a 2 hour drive, just to have him and his staff for all my and my family's dental care. Also my son is excited and dances around every time I tell him we are going to the dentist. He 7 years old.

Easily one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. Everyone I encountered was so kind and genuinely interested in me and my well being. They do a very thorough examination for first time patients, but it was so easy/pain free and flowed flawlessly. I never felt any pain or discomfort during the whole thing. Downtown dental is the best dental office I’ve been to. Dr. Clark and his staff are incredible! Lauren is our Hygenist and we love her -so thorough, yet gentle. Been going to DD doe 7 years. I’ve never had issues with my teeth and was experiencing pain I’ve never felt before when it comes to teeth/gums. Alex was amazing the whole time with my experience today and I left feeling better than I thought I would! They got me in quickly too (called last night and had a 10am appointment today).

I had a wonderful first visit. Lindsay was such a wonderful blend of knowledgeable/professional, with warm and approachable. We created a treatment plan and I felt very well cared for. We even rescheduled the initial cleaning because I would be slightly short on time to get a thorough cleaning. Very happy with my experience.

My place for dental care for 20 years. I won’t leave unless they make me. The technology is updated frequently. The staff is professional and fun. I had not gone to the dentist in probably 10 years (yes, one of those types). There was no judgement. We got on a plan I could manage and finance. Highly recommend.

We drove all the way from Forest Hills to have a consultation for a five year old and his tongue tie/narrow palate. The entire staff is extremely kind, attentive and patient. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this practice. Make sure you know how to parallel park because the alley is tight!

Everyone here is very professional and friendly. There used to be an older lady who was... a little careless... but that was years ago and she's gone. Downtown Dental is a very friendly and professional office. I love Dr. Clark and the staff. Whenever I've encountered a problem with the billing they do everything possible to help resolve the issue. I've recommended them to both family and friends.
