I've been with this grocery family since they were on 6th Street they moved over to Eddy Street and I moved to Eddy Street shortly after I'm so glad to be able to do my small store business with them they have the best snacks at the best prices and if you're looking for a great deal on hoodies do-rags phone accessories and everything in between they have it. They also have the biggest selection of ice cream in the area but aside from all of that if it wasn't for the friendly welcoming they all provide from tall to small, then they'd be just one of the others but the warmness you get makes you feel like one of their own. This store also has the best slush flavors around they are sweet and tart balanced perfectly I mean how could you beat the best flavors at the best prices! I hardly ever leave without one!

I freaking love this place the man there is that owns it is awesome and definitely promote any day everyday the jolly rancher slushies are the best ever best slushies in San Francisco I should say come visit downtown grocery really good prices only place I know that have the two for a dollar cookies and their prices are really fair and workable and if you have a favorite item that they don't have they would definitely order it to make sure that you can come and visit them they're very awesome high energy and leave you smiling when you visit

This store is my go to kinda place. Most everything you need is stocked in shelves and if not just ask the owner cuz he is most accommodating this store is so clean and organized the prices alone should have you making this Your ONLY local neighborhood to shop at. The owner and small staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming it is so refreshing and alot of fun. You will love it I'm serious. Oh and again THE PRICES the best around. I always choose this corner store in my neighborhood The owner and especially his brother Mo make you feel very welcome when you enter their store they have a wide variety of items and if you cant find what youre looking for they quickly get the info and are sure to order whatever it is for the next time you come there, Their prices are also better than their competitors, and the sore is hands down the cleanest store in this neighborhood

Stand up dudes at this shop, I left my debit card in the machine at the register and it was saved and returned promptly when I called. On top of that, it's by far one of my favorite shops downtown. Good people, products and snacks. This coming from a 5th generation San Franciscan speaks volumes to the credibility of this shop and these guys. Highly recommend stoppin by if you're in the area. APPRECIATE YOU FELLAS!!

Everytime my wife and I say foods we are Intesrested In, the owner always pays attention and looks into getting it for us. I always feel welcome, even with a big goofy dog and two kitties craziness I never even get luncomfortable. He always makes us feel like vip. Lol. Highly recommend this store . If it had later hours I'd be ther allll the time!! Prices are reasonable too!

I have been shopping with these guys since they used to be on 6th Street. Bcuz their prices are unbeatable and the customer service is stellar. Any time I have wanted a certain product, if they didn't have it already, they would order it. Downtown Grocery nails it in every category; price, selection, service, convenience...shopping anywhere else is a waste of time and money.

We absolutely LOVE that we live near Downtown Grocery Market!! Not only do they have all of the items that we need, the service there is exceptional! My day always seems to be better after encountering one of the guys there at the store! They are seriously AWESOME! I definitely suggest that you go there for your basic needs and getting some good energy while your"e at it!

I literally only come to the tenderloin to visit this store. It has the best prices by far compared to its neighbors. On top of that they have MY FAVORITE CAPUCHINO ITS ITS FULLY STOCKED DAILY! They NEVER run out. I can’t help but visit 3 to 4 times a week for one. Along with the kindest service you’re missing out if you haven’t visited this diamond in the rough.

Excelente selección they always have what I am looking for, if not the owner there daily just ask and he will get it. They want to impact our community here in the TL positivity the reason they do not sell alcohol. Excelente service. I have no money to waste so I have looked at this rather closely the prices are lower than others.

The proprietor and employees are super helpful and affable. I visit this store often and am always impressed with how clean and well stocked the store is. Also they went as far as ordering a certain product once I asked about it. Downtown Grocery is a step above any local corner store with its customer service and products!

i love this neighborhood market! my dog REALLY loves it, because she gets treats from the owner. they are ALWAYS super friendly here and always have exactly what we need. they have a fantastic candy selection, great cereal section and a slushy machine! Also, I can always get a replacement phone charger at a great price.

Downtown Grocery has B come my choice 2 shop at in the T.L. I have lived here 12 years now & till Downtown Grocery got here there was nothing.They have everything a family needs. They also offer a variety of services 2 the community such as pay bill services & more. I recommend Downtown Grocery 4 all of Ur needs.

The store was clean organized and actually looked good and well stocked.was laid out good to be as spacious as could for the size of the store.The only bad thing that I would have to say about it is that they didn't have any chocolate milk.Plenty of regular milk though.i would definitely go back there again.

I love these guys. This is the place you wanna come to of you have the munchies. They have snacks galore! And some I have never seen or heard of like Reese's cupcakes, whaaat? And jolly rancher slushies, they have the best slushies around, We're still waiting for Jamal to come back.

The staff go above and beyond to take care of loyal customers. If they don't have something you want the owner will personally go get your item from the distributor himself. This is the only store in my neighborhood I do food shopping at. I would give 10 stars if possible.

This grocery store awesome it has all the ingredients what ever you may disire I will walk six long blocks to get there because it's ever worth it and Moe is the captain of that ship and its stays spotless and he is very business minded my favorite store in the T.L.

This is the best small grocery store in San Francisco. Moe and the staff always have the BEST munchies to snack on. Always clean and prices are very reasonable. If you dont want to deal with the long lines at the supermarket, stop by Downtown Grocery.

I stored my luggage here through a third party app and from start to finish the experience was lovely! Everyone was super friendly and accomodating, even letting me use their phone hotspot when I needed to access internet. Would definitely recommend!

This Canadian was expecting a grocery store but I found myself in the best convenience store ever. I was able to bring my bike inside while picking us a Cpl essentials. Great little shop
