I did research in my area for a highly rated dentist for my husband and found Dr. Ilyayev. Made an appt for hubby and accompanied him. While there, I noticed the walk ins welcomed sign and decided to ask if I also could be seen but as a walk in. The front desk staff were super friendly and assured me I could be seen. I HATE going to dentist due to past negative experiences but go because obviously it's a necessity.. Dr. Ilyayev told me I had no new cavities and could come back in 6 months. I did have a cleaning while there. The hygienist was considerate of my dental sensitivities and was gentle as requested. My husband's treatment plan also sounds great and thorough. Dr. explained treatment plan well and reasoning behind the plan. He answered all our questions. Technology seemed updated and high end. Super pleased with dental experience. Feel confident should I ever get a cavity in future. Can update review once hubby gets his dental work done but we are feeling confident with our choice in dentist.

Dr. Emmanuil was great. He has a great bedside manner and not out there to get your money. I had a partially erupted wisdom tooth and caused my gums to get infected and he advised me to try to keep the tooth (which is cheaper) as I don’t have insurance rather than paying to remove it now. He said if it’s still bothering me over again, he will do it. I wanted to remove it though despite the cost - but listened to his advice. He was nice and took his time to explain. His front desk is also super friendly and helpful. I think my only complaint Is that the assistant is a little rough and impatient with taking X-rays. I have a small mouth and she kept shoving it in my mouth causing me to gag and she didn’t ask me if I was ok or anything. I know it’s necessary but anyone with a good bedside manner would ask me if I was ok after I gagged a few times and if i needed a break. But I do highly recommend the doctor and office itself :)

This guy is a just beyond great. I’ve been seeing multiple dentist over the last year! and dealing with things that we’ll, just made it difficult to get my severe case done in place, let’s just say bad dentil genetics combined with a deadly case of Covid I caught year ago made all of my upper teeth a lost cause. All my uppers had to come out. I appreciate NYU trying to help but taking out two teeth out a time prolonged a already humiliating process of transitioning to dentures. At the end of the day Emamanuil not only took care my needs quickly, he went an extra mile I knew he dint have to. This is not a good dentist, this is a great dentist. He is the best in Queens as far as I’m concerned and my operation was painless. If your looking for someone who actually cares for his patients, knows what he’s is doing and will treat you professionally all while getting a great job done, this office would be where you need to go.

Honestly the best dentist and experience at a dentist I ever had. I travel from Brooklyn to Queens just to see Dr. Emmanuil. From the moment you walk in Andrea, who is at the front desk, is welcoming and efficient. She’s a joy to speak to while you wait to see the doctor—which is usually never that long. They do a great job of seeing you at your appointment time. Dr. Emmanuil previously treated two of my teeth that were in pain and needed root canals. I never felt so comfortable in my life. I felt no pain during the procedure and the doctor continued to ask me if I felt anything and insured that I was relaxed. I just went back for my six month check up and he said everything looked great as I changed my oral hygiene drastically. So grateful for the doctor and his team. I have found my home dentist for life.

I just came back from an appt with Dr Emmanuil for tooth pain and a general cleaning. They saw me the same day that I called, since I live a few minutes away. I hardly had to wait before being called into my appt. The entire experience was incredible - from the moment I walked in I was welcomed and the lady at the front desk was so pleasant, the nurse was very thorough and kind as well and finally Dr Emmanuil who explained everything and was extremely competent and kind as well. My experience at this office was excellent. The dental hygienist Manuelita did such an amazing job. Literally the best cleaning I’ve ever done in my life and I have been to quite a few dental offices. This by far is the best. Not to mention Dr.Emanuil was very informative and answered all of my questions and concerns pertaining to implants that I need to have done. This was first time going to ilyayev and I had a simple cleaning. I had problem with back teeth hurting and was told that I had gum disease. The lady that was doing my cleaning was not communywith me at all. She clearly saw the body language that was in extreme pain but she didn’t ask if I was ok. She didn’t say anything to tell me that everything was or to assure me. I was so mad at that point until Dr. Ilyayev came. He was completely opposites he was caring, wanted to answer my questions, and overall very knowledgeable. I’d rather have him clean my teeth rather then that lady. Or at least train her how to communicate with the patients

This dental office offers an exceptional experience. I made an appointment online and received a call to confirm it for the next day. They were able to see me right away due to a cancelled appointment. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I filled out the "new patient" forms quickly. I had some X-rays taken and discovered I had a few cavities, but Doctor Emmanuil was very gentle and patient with me. I had t cancel 2 appointments due to personal emergency it was less than there 24 hour cancelation period.they said I was going to be charges 70 dollars. I informed then that because I was a medicaid patient they were not allowed to bill me for missed appointments I was then told I could no longer be a patient there and they referred me to a dental school I'm surprised at the lack of professionalism considering I've had decent experiences w them in the past
