My first ever negative review of a business. Im sad about the outcome but felt I had no choice... 2nd update From the updated response from the manager of the car wash I see that there is good reason to never return. He claims that they "offered" me money. They certainly did not! and they accused me of asking for free money. ( Why would I even do that?). My car was already washed...just was finishing the rinse and had 57 seconds left on the timer when it quit working. hence the reason i went to ask for help. Update... I see that they made a post below that says I was trying to get free money. Seriously? Well now I have to post what actually occurred. I'm disappointed in the attitude of two workers at our Duggan car wash. I wash my car there several times a year and have always had good service and have never had a problem til today. I put my toonies in and was washing my vehicle when the machine stopped before the time was up. I had just about a minute left on credit on the machine. I walked over to the office to ask for help and they sent a young man over to see what happened before the other man came over. He said I would need to put another toonie in to get it going again. I said I only needed the 57 seconds left on my credited amount to finish and dont want to add another toonie. He replied with" our machines dont break like that and you must add a toonie to get it going again" and then he added " we have a huge customer base with no complaints". I was stunned. I just wanted to finish rinsing my car off. I told him I'd rather have my money back for the balance left instead of adding another toonie because at that point I was ready to leave even though I still had soap on my car. I just wanted to get out of there instead of continuing to be yelled at. He then said to the other guy who was with him " Its ok, we dont need her, we'll give her a loonie." I left as fast I could after that. As I said, if you need any help there...dont ask I will NEVER go there again!

Today was the first time I’ve used DUGGAN self serve car wash. They offer large bays with a full time attendant who cleans up the wash bays after each customer has used it. I gave my vehicle a good pre-wash spray down using the soap cycle followed by several cycles around the vehicle to ensure I had given it a good wash. Next came several passes for a thorough rinse and wax. There was lots of soap in the wash water but it took longer than expected to clear the hose when switching from wash to rinse to wax. I did not use the scrub brush as my car is new and I didn’t want the paint swirl marks that develop over time from using scrub brushes. Total cost on the wash job today was $25. Unfortunately, I won’t be using this car wash again. Immediately upon leaving I inspected my vehicle and noticed a light coating of road grim still on the sides. Honestly, I wasn’t surprised to see this. While I was using the wash I kept thinking the spray pressure was inadequate and the wash water temperature was barely luke warm. Examination of the vehicle afterward confirmed my thoughts. This location is convenient for me but I will be driving further to other car washes that I’ve used in the past where I know I’ll get hot water and adequate spray pressure.

I went in to the "touchless" wash with my car just slightly dusty and came out with the car smeared with filth in certain areas, with dirty spots all over the windows. Upon closer inspection, I noticed hundreds of new little scrapes and chips in the paint all over the hood, and hundreds of tiny little chips in the windshield. It was as though my car had been sandblasted by the high pressure spray in the car wash. I did not know until I looked it up that these car washes use recycled water, so I can only assume that there was some sort of malfunction in their system or some problem with a filter and that the sand and rocks off other cars were high pressure blasted at my car along with all the dirty water that left it so dirty after the supposed "wash." I tried contacting the owner, but so far he does not want to claim any responsibility, and does not get back to me on my calls. I and many friends have been to this car wash before many times without a problem, so I think it must have been a malfunction in the equipment. But, I'd say, don't go to this car wash or any other automatic touchless wash because the same could happen to you at any time!

1st with manual side Great experience This was my first time, I got help from "Preet". He clarified to me what to do and I did not have enough coins he helped me as well " you may use credit if you want". I may not be the best person to judge soup concentration but I can tell you that it cleared all my car muds and dirt. The space you have per car is great and more than enough for a big guy to move and wash. I used brush,soup,vaccum and water; next time I want to try wax and tires option. Thanks Preet for the help and team to maintain this great place. OMG after auto car wash experience, it is not good at all , all mosquitoes almost there on the car body although I have chosen 15$ I’m degrading it to 3 stars

It was my first car wash after traveling from Toronto to Edmonton and the car was quite a mess ! With dirt tar and what not that could stick to a car on 3500km of Trans Canada Highway. The car wash was as stated in most reviews. Clean, prompt and very friendly staff, who helped me over and above his assigned duties! At times when there is no rush, they permit bucket wash and also good time to dry the car. I would keep going back. If I have a bad experience, I will get back and change this review! Duggan car wash gets my full points as on date!

I have gone here a decent amount of times. Workers at the car wash are great people, however a lot of cons. The curtains for the stalls are too short. The pressure is very weak and the soap is of very poor quality. Washed my car and dirt still showed, Water is also cold. Inside it is darker so it is hard to tell if you missed a spot. If the car wash had some better pressure, better filters, better soap, warm water, and bigger curtains it would be much better. The cost for the wash is a little steep as well 10 dollars barley cleans my car.

New upgrades must be applauded. I love that I don't walk across to pay with my credit card. The office does not smell like cigarettes. My bay was cleaned right before I entered it. Staff is friendly, and new owner came and said hello and asked for my opinion. I think, this car wash has improved immensely. I think new need to paint their office and get air dryers for each bay and maybe have undercarriage wash because city is putting salt on the road now. Other than that I was very impressed. I and my family will come again.

Used to have decent water pressure and soap temperature, but now with thin 1/4" hose (same one used for carpet cleaning that doesn't require much water flow but needs very high temp), lower water pressure, and lower soap water temperature, results in mediocre cleaning quality as of late 2022, compare to prism self serving car wash (3/8" inside diameter hose, much more water flow like 50-100% more, see for yourself) in summerside at least. Maybe it's a management issue, or maybe the equipments are poorly maintained.

It’s a great place to go for a car wash. I’ve never used a DIY car wash before so it was a new experience for me. Mr. Dipan Patel was exceptional. So helpful and engaging. Making sure I had the best experience. Not just that I noticed that his engagement was the same with every single customer. Going above and beyond and that too on a day with -41degC windchill. Kudos to you Mr. Patel. You’ve won a customer forever. I’ll come back not just to wash my car but for the great service. Keep up the great work.

Just popped in here for a wash on our truck, and it was the closest one to our hotel. Our card wouldn't work in the machine and the employee lent us their card, let us pay it back. He even helped back our truck in! Super awesome staff here. Bays are large and have all the necessary things one would use to wash their vehicle. Easy to access on entrance or exit. Decently priced for a wash!! Will recommend to friends that live in the city! Thanks guys!!!! Much appreciated!!

First time using their touch less car wash and I have to say I am very impressed. I have never had a touch less do such a great job. I like how the machine scans the contours of the car and the overhead spray arm comes down and sprays really close to the car for the front and back. The only negative is the price is quite high for the best wash at $18. If they lower it to like $15 to be competitive to the other washes they would probably get a lot more business.

Awesome place and only place I take every one of my vehicles. Staff are very helpful and quick to make sure you leave satisfied with the outcome of the money you spent. They make sure all the equipment is working and if not they fix promptly. Stalls are always kept clean as soon as they are empty. If that isn't enough the fact that for your 2 dollars you get 15 seconds more then anywhere else which doesn't seem like a lot but think about it in the long run.

I've washed my car a few times at this location over the past year or so and I can say I always had a great experience. If it is not too busy, they let you dry car inside without you rushing you out and they do ask you to leave if there is line up unless you are continuing to pay. It is fair and square. Products used are great quality and Leave your car shiny. Water is hot and has good pressure even when it is freezing cold outside. Happy to be a customer!

Good location. It tends to be quite busy on the weekend. Come after 6:30pm and you should have no problem finding a stall and having time for drying your car after. Everything works, and rates are reasonable. Staff is friendly too. You can pay with credit card now too. Car wash is about 10 degrees in the winter, so it's a good place to clean the wheel wells and undercarriage when there is a lot of slush out on the roads.

Easy enough to use, takes credit cards, easy location - 2 stars for this. But the water pressure is very poor, the water is cold, and it takes much longer to wash the car, and the end result still isn't very clean unless you spend a long time here. I haven't come here for 2 years and nothing has changed. There is a much better car wash a couple km from here; I will no longer be returning to this car wash.

The old guy is super rude. The other staff is friendly. You don't show the way out, I was in only 15 mins and being winter it takes a while. So, if people are late they wait, its a simple rule. You don't shoo away customers. The business is usually alive because of cutomers. Soap is just water haven't seen foam at all. Not going anymore. You just lost a customer old man !!

I quite like this local car wash. Staff are very friendly, always see them doing something like cleaning or checking equipment. I trust this team. They also don't mind if you wipe your car down while washing, AS LONG AS there are empty spaces (they do have a sign up that asks you not to sit in the bay and wipe your vehicle down, which makes sense)

Don't like the credit card prepay. There $10 and I usually use $8 or less. Rather use coin machine. Do not like to go back and forth for $2 bucks. They figure they can make more with prepay credit cards. I asked why the coin machine not working and they don't give me a straight answer. It's all a scam to get every loonies or toonie from customers.

Been using this toucless car wash for many years. Nice location, and there's always an employee to help or answer any questions. Always clean and always works without troublel. Wash takes either of coins and card ...and there's a stocked cleaning supplies vending machine. And ...there's also an automatic car wash using the other entrance.

Very affordable car wash, I like their pre-paid pass it gives me 10% off also i can use for their automatic. Staff is so friendly and always smiling and willing to help. Pressure is good, soap comes more than other car washes I have noticed. I wish they took debit on the machine but i bought my pre-pay pass with debit.

Sometimes there is a long lineup but if you avoid busy times you can drive right in. It takes loonies or toonies but they have change machines and will give you change if you don't want to use the machines. Usually a wash will cost you $6.00 but it depends on much cleaning you want to do. Generally it is clean inside.

Buyer beware! I used to like this car wash. Now the pressure is low. And I couldn't believe they use cold water. Especially in the winter. I asked the worker about it and he wasn't helpful or concerned about the cold water. Not good at all if you have any ice on your vehicle. Will not be going back here again.

Staff friendly when I called in about things. A few features not available (carpet shampoo wasn't available in the bay in was in) and the pause button didn't work on. Car looked great afterwards. I had a van, and so the vacuuming took a bit of time. Vacuum and outside wash for under 20$.

New management, I guess. Used to be friendly and helpful. Now won’t give change for $20 that would go back into their own machines? No accommodation between washing, vacuuming, etc.? What a shame. I’ve come here for 15-plus years. Time to find a new option. Thanks for the memories.

I use to wash my car every week there since 2016, but now its just a rip off , their fam brush are bald, plus now . a new ripp off of $2 to start the machine, if you dont put a looning before time ends, its another $2 to start. not going there anymore, there are many other places.

The price is for the wand wash is one of the best in the city, and if you're very particular about washing your car they let you do bucket wash/hand dry if it's not busy. I exclusively do bucket wash and this is the only car wash I go to now because some others won't let you

Facility looks great ever since new ownership came in! The new equipment is state of the art, not to mention they now offer detailing services! Took my car in and they made it look brand new inside and out! Definitely will be making this my go to car wash!! 5 stars!!!

It is an absolute complete waste of time to wash your vehicle there. They use cold water which everyone knows does not get rid of so it only makes it become the adhesive to your car. The pressure is horrible I have more pressure from my shower. Go somewhere else.

They have plenty of bays and if there is a line up it moves quickly. The bays are kept clean and if you use your card you can wash uninterrupted. The pressure is good enough for a thorough clean. Expect to use $5 to wash a mid-sized car if you don't dilly-dally.

I was in a hurry this morning and didn't know how to wash my car with their machines as my husband does it, the attendant helped me wash quickly. The best clean ever got in $4. Unbelievable amount of soap and it was so hot it melted all the ice by the tires.

It was great. Stalls were clean. Nice and wide. All the chemicals were strong and and plenty comes out. The attendant was very nice. Recommend this place. And lots of room after to dry your vehicle. And if bays are open, you can do all your work inside.

Overall quite good. I wish they had more tools and options for cleaning. If I go next time, I would take some of my own tools for treating some tough spots and wiping dry. Credit card machine required swiping multiple times and didn't work many times.

This wand wash is located directly across the street from both an elementary AND a middle school, so plan around busy times because the parking lot becomes real-time hell-on-earth during peak dropoff/pickup hours. The wash itself, however, is awesome!

My only experiences are related to their drive through car wash. After 4 visits, it a decent touch less wash. My auto repair shop offers a free carwash coupon with each visit. Our 4-year old granddaughters enjoy watching all the machinery in action.

The Duggan car wash is the standard that I compared all car wash in Alberta to. It is clean and chemically are fully stocked. It could be better lit. I have only found a few other car washes better than this one but they are definitely above average

Car wash is horrible, not enough pressure on the rinse or soap cycles. Barely any soap comes out. Not sudsy, and they will not refund you $$ when it takes $4 to rinse your car from the low pressure. Avoid and go to Hughes if you want your $$ worth

It was awesome experienced with Duggan car was. Staff was very co-operative and very helpful. I wasn’t expecting that I could clean my bugs after long travel using Automatic car wash service however It was completely cleaned. Thanks to Danny.

Place has coin machine, restrooms,is clean. If I remember correctly there's 10 stalls, each with it's own scrub brush, vacuum. Operates on loonies and twoonies, minimum 2 bucks for 2:20 in time. It cost me 6 bucks for a full wash no vacuum.

This carwash has VERY wide bays, perfect for pickup trucks. It is very clean and organized. The price is excellent considering it is a hot water wash which works very well. 10/10. And the new owner Danny is exceptionally friendly

Nice clean place at a buck for minute twenty I do believe.....can add up quickly by the time you get done a full shampoo wash rinse with vacuum. About 10 bucks give or take. Go fast and you will be sweating by the time you leave!

The have manual car wash and automatic car wash. The best is the 15$ package for the automatic car wash. For the manual you have to be ready to run like a crazy person cleaning became you have timer that starts once you pay.

I have been going for years. They have the triple foam which means if you are particular about your car, you can achieve the wash you want with out using the brush. My vehicles are black so the brush is a definite no no!

I am using this car wash for over two years and now its not clean as it used to be. Under wash time is insufficient . Management if you fixed the problem let me know by commenting here . I will come back again . Thanks

Touchless Car Wash is excellent. Wash bays are spacious and clean. Got my vehicle cleaned/detailed today and I am very happy with the result. Staff are friendly and polite. Owners have done many upgrades and it shows.

Very friendly staff always good with handling any customer that come through the bay doors. Very clean washrooms all the necessities for Car Cleaning is in the vending machine. All washing station r very clean.

After a long journey (about 2200km), I washed my car here. The cleaning was absolutely perfect. Danny helped me choosing the proper car wash. All the dirt and bugs were completely washed off. Truly satisfied!

Decent car wash, my goto for this side of the town. Reasonable rates and decent services. Just be sure to PRESS the stop button, not just move the lever on the select device or it'll keep charging your card.

Go there all the time, never had any issues with equipment. Friendly staff, change machine always has loonies. The bays are always cleaned when as soon as a customer leaves the bay. Keep up the good work.

Expensive car wash. Using a card per auths 25$. They must charge 2$ per minute of use because the 25$ was used up extremely fast. I had to end up spending another 3 dollars.

I find that this car wash is experience compared to others I have visited. Finishing with the wax settling resulted in a spotty dry. The office smelt like cigarette smoke.

It can be a good carwash if water pressure was higher. The water pressure is very low and it takes forever to wash a car. Water is not hot and indeed it is cold.

The attendant is a dolt. But the car wash was hot (makeout times with a friend). And satisfactory cleaning -- got the Deluxe and it was still dirty in parts.
