I came here to find that it was a token only car wash and was on my way out to find a different car wash when Dave, the attendant, stopped to ask me if I needed help. After telling him I didn't want to pre-purchase tokens, he offered the option to pay after using the car wash. Not only that, but he helped me wash my car and was able to get rid of scuff marks on my car which I thought were scratch marks at no charge. Side note: there is an option to pay with credit card at the attendant window. This was the best service I've ever received at a manual car wash! Thank you Dave!

I happened to be in the area with a few minutes to kill and decided to find a car wash. From now on, I’ll be going out of my way to frequent Em’s. Great service, the attendant was most helpful. The machine was easy to use. The pressure was great. I LOVE that they use tokens. I went in hoping they’d have a change machine as I only had bills, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the machines run on tokens that you can buy with cash or card! The price is a slight touch more than a different self-wash I’ve visited, but the quality here is much better! Very impressed.

This is a pretty good wand wash. There are 10 bays usually all operational and typically minimal wait times. The high pressure spray for soap, wax and rinse are very good. The pre-soak is sub par the last time I was there though. The cost is comparable to most wand washes in the city but its unfortunately you still need to buy tokens. I would much rather see a credit card payment processor to activate the wash than tokens. It's not my favorite wand wash around but if in the neighborhood and require a wash I would not hesitate go back.

I've gone to a few different car washes now and this one is my favourite in the city. On my first visit, I was amazed how clean and warm it was. I was there early in the morning, but you can tell how well kept the facility is. The reward loyalty (giving free tokens on purchases of 10 or more wash tokens) and all of their equipment is well kept. Her foam brush cleaned up my rims amazingly and the variety of cleaning options had my BMW coming out looking immaculate. I will continue to go back to Em's and had a great experience there!

Em’s is an excellent car wash. The bays are always clean and ready to use. There is also hardly ever a wait. They use a token system here and you get a discount if you buy your tokens in batches which is a great system. I love that the pressure washer actually has some good pressure to it and that the water isn’t ice cold. It helps to get the grime off more easily. I will happily return again and again.

Wow, this is place is great. Good pressure with hot high pressure soap and hot rinse. I did a quick pre soak then hot high pressure soap and washed off the midsummer bugs in milliseconds. No repeat wash needed. The countdown timer is a great feature. Nice and clean with helpful staff that coordinated traffic and helped me back out when it was busy. Best wand wash in Edmonton.

The best car wash on 99: Only 2.5 $ for 3.5 minutes, great pressure great wash/ wax. I Love to be there. Only I had something like this near my home!! Pre-soak, soap, rinse, wax, rinse, air. Owner said leave wax on .. but it streaks I found it better rinsing excess . I don't use brush - if you do, make sure you use it after a good rinse and wash first... So you are not spreading dirt .and keep the foam coming out as scrubbing with light pressure..so any stick dirt and grime is lifted off the brush and off the surface ..

Clean, well maintained, well run and the most important thing... LOTS OF SOAP! In a time when most DIY car washes put a drop of soap in the hopper, and you can barely tell the difference between SOAP and RINSE, this place delivers! Also, their proprietary coins deliver 3 min of service each and have a countdown timer you can read from behind your vehicle. My go-to.

Great place, owner of a very polite man, friendly and he runs a clean place. We go there about once a week now. 3.25 per token gets you 2 1/2 minutes. One then to pressure soap, one more to pressure rinse and you're done. 10 tokens gets you 2 extra free for 32.50, good for about 6 washes unless you want to add high pressure wax, or vacuum, and air dryer.

Dave, one of Em's frequent staff truly went the extra mile for me today! Showed me how to use all of the different options, made a few recommendations, brought over extra interior supplies, and helped me the whole time! A+ for this guy, and would highly recommend Em's for all car cleaning needs! My car has never looked this good since I bought it!

All the other reviews are true, this place is super clean! There's good pressure and the water gets pretty hot. The one thing that stood out to me is that the bays are very well lit. Some other car washes I've been too are pretty dim in comparison which can make it easier to miss spots when you're cleaning, but you won't have that problem here!

One of the best wand car washes in the city! The water pressure is always good. Foam brushes are clean and the majority of the heads are not too floppy! That bang for buck could be a little better but is inline with everywhere else! Staff is always super friendly!! Good spot outside to dry off and detail car after if the wash is super busy.

The attendant who was working the day I visited last week is legitimately THE best car wash attendant I've ever seen in my life. He was running around enthusiastically helping customers out, offering assitance and advice -- I sure hope his wages reflect from his efforts. I am now officially a loyal customer to THIS car wash.

The lady that sold me the tokens was not only pleasant but seemed quite attractive to be working a till at a car wash. Maybe she owned it? Found this gem after taking an hour to drive around looking at carwashes to see what was the best fit for what i liked. And being a carwash owner myself I found myself at Em's a few times while I was in the city. Easy to find right off a main road, super clean bays, bright, friendly staff, and great pressure!

I usually go through drive-through car washes but I had the time today to check out Em's Car Wash. Well, I'm hooked! Dave was wonderful - showed me the ropes and even helped me wash my car between customers! Even managed to avoid most of the puddles driving home. I will be back! Service was excellent!

The attendant is a champ ! the car wash is always clean . He's a friendly gentlemen that waves to greet you . and when you're leaving even helps direct you back out. this place is the best. if you wash your car somewhere else, you'll never know true satisfaction as is the standard at Em's .

Car wash is tokens, which is a little old cool and you can't just use the time you need without going home with excess coins. And no spot free rinse available. My balck truck looks terrible. All I needed was a light rinse. Now I need to go to a car wash to get the friggin spots off!

Dave is an excellent employee! Give this man a raise. I accidentally locked my keys in my car and he helped me get them back out of his own kindness. 10/10 for customer service and the car wash itself is very spacious and a great place to go for exterior and interior car cleaning!

What an excellent car wash. As a detail shop, we’re picky when we have to use a car wash to clean our personal vehicles. The pressure was excellent and the hot, pressure soap was the best way to get the grime off our car. Friendly staff and clean facility. Would highly recommend!

A very well managed business. the equipment always works and the water pressure is excellent. Good value as well, I can wash and rinse a crew-cab pickup for $6 (YEMV). I think, not sure, that it is family owned and operated since I have seen the same faces there for years.

The service here is wonderful! This was my first time here and someone came and helped me out instantly with the tokens. Each token gives you 3.5 minutes so you're not constantly putting them in. The bays and brush was clean, and most of all there was GREAT water pressure!

Great place to clean your truck. The attendant was great, he explained everything to me. Pump has lots of pressure, works great. Time shows up on the wall. Select any mode you want, high pressure water, rinse etc. I had time to wipe the truck down so it didn't freeze.
