My simple advice to you: stay away from this this agent. Yes, this is one of the few agents who speak Chinese. Yes, he sounds friendly on the phone. But mark my words - He is not on your side. He is not here to help you. He is here to rip. you. off. Find someone else. If you're not comfortable with English, find someone to help you translate. Allow me to explain. First, the deductible is 1% of the coverage, which is much higher than other providers, which is generally a fixed amount of $1,000-$2,000. Typically, this is to decrease premiums for those who don't anticipate making many too many claims. However, the premium that Duy charges you is also much more than other providers... Why? I called an agent (Henry), and he tried to explain to me that having a higher deductible is a good thing, and something I should pay more for. Seeing that he works in insurance, I don't think he is so clueless to really believes something like that. It leads me to the only explanation is that he is maliciously preying on folks who don't really know how insurance works in order to rip them off for decades. Oh, and once you start probing too much, Henry's attitude makes a complete 180 and becomes rude and impatient. If you do business with Duy, you will regret it. You may not regret it today, or tomorrow. But you will live to regret it eventually. That's what happened to us. Curious that this place has only a handful of reviews, and the vast majority of the reviewers only have 1-3 reviews. Makes me question the authenticity of those reviews. Don't trust. Avoid. That's the way to go.

I reached out after moving to Seattle and learning that my bare bones car insurance package with another company was nearly doubling in price. I also needed renter's insurance, but that was a distant second to my car insurance needs. I shopped around and State Farm offered me about 4 times the car insurance coverage and saved me ~$600/yr. Ben Anderson was a helpful, trustworthy, pleasant, and reliable agent who has incredible customer focus, so he made the switch a breeze. Ben answered all my questions, presented me my options, and I never felt like he was trying to upsell me. He also didn't just have follow up in taking care of me, he had follow through-- every time he said he would call me back, he did so and he did so when he said he would. He even called to check in a few weeks after the switch to see if I had any questions and was able to help me with something else. I have no doubt that he and the rest of the team will be helpful, prompt, and thorough in helping me should I need to file a claim. I highly recommend giving them a call!

My experience was fine until this year when the office representative changed to Eleanor. Not only is she incompetent but she is extremely rude, responding to my emails with "k" (as in that's the only response she sent back when I pointed out that the pdf seemed to be broken) and hanging up on me without directly answering any of my questions or clarifications. I'm honestly shocked to be treated this way in any professional transaction. It's also impossible to get a hold of Duy without going through her so the whole experience felt extremely impersonal. Cancelled my insurance with them immediately because I don't need to deal with that kind of disrespect just to get simple requests like a proof of renewal sent to me as a paying customer.

Duy Bui is an amazing person and agent. I am so glad I was able to find him and his excellent assistants in Seattle's University District. He is careful to explain complex policies clearly-which is greatly appreciated in this complicated world. He and his office are helpful, kind, and Duy always calls or e-mails with follow-up and mail promptly. Indeed, although I have now moved across the state to Walla Walla, I want Duy to continue as my State Farm Agent. I have been with State Farm since I was a teen! Now I am a Senior, and temporarily retired. I am sticking with State Farm, and with Duy Bui! Always stick with the best!

My original insurance agent at State Farm was retiring and had transferred my service to Duy Bui's office. He sent me a courtesy call to just discuss the basics of my plan so I could be more aware of what was covered, which I honestly had not previously looked into deeply. I ended up having a higher coverage amount at no extra cost to me which was nice. Anytime there's been a deviation from the normal such as me being late accidentally on a payment, the office has been communicative and easy to work with on any changes in property coverage etc. Overall I'm satisfied.

I was really pleased to find this State Farm agency. My previous insurance company had raised my rates 69% for no apparent reason. We initially communicated by text and I later went into the office on University Way and was warmly greeted. It only took a few minutes to get me set up with a new policy with the same coverage I previously had at a savings of over $700 per year. Vill Sithivong is polite, informed and very competent. She made the transaction a very easy experience. There is also adequate street parking in this area. So nice to deal with live human beings!

Recently I tried to work with Allstate in getting coverage. Long story short, they were giving me the hardest time in getting coverage because the documents I've provided, which were sufficient for many other companies, weren't too their likings. They had me running around for weeks. Anyways, with the advisement of my previous insurer, I contact Duy Bui State Farm and within an hour, I was given a very reasonable quote, they walked me through every number, and was very efficient in answering all of my questions.

Duy is the most responsive and caring agent I've ever worked with. He helped me take care of the refund from my previous insurance provider when I decided to switch to state farm, and he was prompt in responding to any asks/requests I have. His customer service is top of the line, and although I currently am no longer with statefarm due to better price available elsewhere, I would definitely consider working with Duy again and would highly recommend him as your insurance agent.

I would absolutely recommend Duy and his team for all of your insurance needs. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. This agent has a great team!
