Very overgrown, with rubbish such as plastic bottles lying around. Could only access first picnic area, as road still flooded to the further cleared area, with a high risk of sinking in the mud along it. The birdlife still great (Ashy flycatcher, Green twinspot and Red back mannikins) but felt uneasy being there on my own.

Very neglected and overgrown, road also not in great condition, but still accessible with a normal car. Have to bushwhack if you want to get to any of the benches or braai facilities. Some unsavory characters hanging around. Only positives were that it was easy to find and that there were lots of birds!

Not well maintained. Pathways partially blocked by fallen trees and overgrown. All structures neglected and most vandalised. No security but birdlife abundant.

Was a very disappointing trip. The GPS coordinates on Google maps couldn't get us to the entrance. We drove over 40kms only to turn back.

Aside from getting the grass in the parking cut and perhaps some of the trails. The reserve is practically abandoned.

The GPS co-ordinates are completely wrong. The reserve could not be found by using Ggogle Maps...

Place is very neglected. Log cabins are no more. Locals walking around with their hunting dogs

Very neat and quiet. Lots of braaing areas. A place to relax.
