We are writing to you to end this debacle of an order. We are asking for a refund of our deposit as the product we ordered has never been delivered and we don't believe it ever will be. You have not held up your end of the commitment. I have tried for what is getting closer to half a year to be patient for our cabinet and you have never delivered it. We should not have to go through this. I now have to find another cabinet and wait for it. You have caused us a great deal of trouble. It should not take this long for one piece of furniture. This whole ordeal is just astounding. I continually am the one reaching out to EWF as the communication from EWF has sorely lacked and only to be put off again and again. Promised that it is going to be complete but never is. We are tired of waiting and want our money back so we can order from someone who will deliver on their honest word. This is very poor business practices. I would never treat my client like this. Not only are you off by months on your timing but not once in my communications has anyone offered to make this right. We continually are promised that our cabinet will arrive. It never does. Once again you said I would be contacted this week and once again I did not receive a call and our cabinet does not yet seem to exist. Something fishy is going on. You missed an important delivery date for us long ago and yet we tried to be understanding. No one did anything to make this right and our item has still never been delivered. Please refund our money immediately. Please send us confirmation from your end. Thank you.

This store is not well suited if you are not local. The store thought that perhaps the items could be shipped directly from manufacturer to us. After ordering several $1000 worth of furniture we were told that everything needed to go from manufacturer to Oregon then to the state in which we live. Higher shipping costs and several week delays. The freight company could not be properly tracked throughout the process and the store decided to close on Mondays leaving one less day per week to move these orders. If you call the store during business hours you will likely get voicemail. At one point we were able to travel to Portland for an overnight business trip so I was anxious to visit the store in person. The owner was there alone and much more interested in working with what she described as “her very good client”. She reluctantly helped me, the client that spent several $1000, after telling me to come back and me explaining that I flew in for a short period of time. The final kick in the teeth was when I reached out to the store immediately after getting an email regarding a floor sale. I asked to purchase a mirror on the floor and they said that they would arrange for shipping. I was emailed the next day that they sold to a local customer hours after committing mirror to me. I greatly regret supporting a business that would treat me this way.

This store has some nice pieces and is curated well however we weren't particularly impressed with our whole experience. Neither of the sales people acknowledged my husband and I when we came in the store. Even when we decided what we wanted to purchase we stood around a while by the desk before someone even acknowledged our presence. The sales lady then tried to sell us the floor model, which she said is common practice for them. It may have been true, but the floor model had several flaws. She assured us that this $565 lamp has flaws right out of the box which didn't exactly bode well with us. We came to this store looking for something of high quality. The lamp in the box did end up being in better shape than the floor model but as craftspeople, we were hoping for something a little better quality. There were some small flaws and overall the wood could use more sanding. Okay for ikea furniture but not for "designer". I'm not sure if she was trying to unload a damaged floor model on us or if she just didn't feel like getting a boxed one from the basement...ultimately we are pleased with the design of our lamp but less than impressed with its craftsmanship for the price. Service here is questionable.

thanks to EWF we have a bedroom fit for a queen. The quality and workmanship on our bedroom set is outstanding and the pieces are beautiful. Literally our bedroom looks like a modern art exhibit in a museum. But the furniture is only a small part of the experience. Erez went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best experience possible. I can't say enough about the professionalism, kindness and dedication to his craft - thank you EWF for weathering the supply chain issues and getting us set up with a wonderful bedroom

AMAZING customer service and exceeded our expectations! Oliver helped my husband and I on several visits to EWF. His professional knowledge in design made our purchases a pleasure. We are thrilled with our pieces and feel like Oliver made our shopping experience a breeze. Our sofa, bed and lighting is of the highest quality and we feel a very reasonable price point. He went above and beyond to make sure we achieved the exact outcome we had hoped for. We have found our favorite place to shop!

I recently purchased my new sofa from EWF Modern and I love it. The sales associates were extremely helpful when picking it out and offered great suggestions and color design. It was extremely easy to order and their communication about my order was fantastic. Pick up was also easeful. The quality of my sofa is excellent and I would certainly order from them again. I appreciate the customer service from a local company and was happy to support!

You might think prices are high at first but furniture is an investment in a real way, you will get all the quality you pay for. I bought a bed frame here and it is as gorgeous as it is sturdy... no give when I jump on it at the end of the day. They were so nice too I even got a hand written thank you note in the mail afterwards which I still have

We purchased 3 barstools, a dining table and chairs from EWF Modern. Erez was helpful patient and attentive. The customer service is exemplary. We were kept up to date on the process of each piece of furniture. The end result was beautiful with very high quality pieces at a good price. I would highly recommend this store.

I ordered a cabinet from them and the quality is exceptional. Erez and Renee were very responsive and helpful. With service being so critical when purchasing investment pieces, they provided excellent and friendly support. They have some really cool items and it is nice that they are in the neighborhood.

They have some really beautiful and unusual pieces here, especially sustainable and reclaimed wood. There is a nice balance of design and comfort. The staff is very welcoming and helpful without sales pressure. Prices are somewhat high, but not unusual for the quality.

Absolutely stunning space, with genuinely well crafted and aesthetic furniture and home design pieces. The people here were fantastic and were more than happy to guide me through their various pieces! A wonderful spot for the design-focused!

Very cool place to find exceptional modern furnishings. Design staff is not pushy/sale based. They are very forthcoming with honest, helpful opinions. Can be $$$ but worth it for the uniqueness and quality.

I always find something new here- great quality pieces. The owner is very helpful and we have always been satisfied with our experience. If you are looking for furniture in Portland EWF is a must.
