I recently had the misfortune of renting a car from Easirent for a trip, and I feel compelled to share my incredibly disappointing experience with their service. From the very beginning, it was evident that customer service was not a priority for this company. I picked up the car from their Tampa branch and decided to opt for the Sunpass service for the week, expecting to encounter tolls during my journey. Little did I know that this decision would lead to an ongoing nightmare. After just one day of driving, I realized that I wouldn't be using the Sunpass service as I wouldn't be passing through any tolls during my trip. So, I decided to do the logical thing and cancel the service to avoid unnecessary charges. Little did I know, canceling the Sunpass service would prove to be an absurdly convoluted process. First, I called their customer service, only to be told that the cancellation could only be done in person at the branch where I picked up the car. So, I drove back to the branch, wasting my time and fuel, only to be told that I had to call a specific number to cancel. I called the provided number, and guess what? They informed me that cancellations couldn't be processed over the phone and that I had to return to the branch. Frustrated and bewildered by the contradictory instructions, I made yet another trip to the branch. This time, the rental agent told me to call his number and assured me that it would be sorted out the next day. So, I called the number once more, and after more confusion and back-and-forth discussions, they finally assured me that the cancellation would be taken care of. But guess what? When I returned the car on the last day of my rental period, the charge for the Sunpass service was still on my credit card statement. The branch staff assured me that everything was resolved, but clearly, it wasn't. Hoping to find some resolution, I sent an email detailing my entire ordeal to their customer service department. It's been a while, and I have yet to receive any response or acknowledgment of my complaint. It's clear that they don't care about their customers or their satisfaction. The lack of communication, consistency, and accountability throughout this whole process was simply appalling. I expected better from a reputable car rental company. I implore anyone reading this review to stay away from Easirent and pay the extra money to rent from the airport or a more reliable provider. This experience has left me utterly disappointed and frustrated, and I don't want others to endure the same ordeal. This is one car rental service I would strongly advise avoiding at all costs. UPDATE 10/28: After Easirent's initial response to my review, I followed their instructions by contacting their customer services through the "manage my booking" link on their website. The website stated that I should expect a response within two weeks. Regrettably, it has now been well beyond weeks, and I haven't received any communication from Easirent. This lack of follow-up only deepens my disappointment with their customer service. Despite their earlier expression of a desire to improve, the company's failure to respond to my concerns suggests a lack of follow-through and sincerity. I continue to stand by my previous advice to avoid Easirent in favor of a more reliable car rental provider. The lack of response post-initial acknowledgment only reinforces my initial concerns. UPDATE 11/4 I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau

UPDATE #2: The suggested customer service contact informed me they require liability coverage, which I have through my current car insurance, but was never asked to provide proof for that, they just added $20 a day to my rental. So again, AVOID THIS COMPANY as much as you can. They lie to customers, sneak charges onto your rental after you book through Expedia at one price you end up paying more because of the lies, misdirection, and overall frustration you encounter in their office. Book with a reputable company, the big names that you know. UPDATE: As the owner below has indicated, I should contact customer service, I already had when I wrote this review. I was basically told "Sorry, you paid, we can't refund you". I asked for a supervisor, and was told they can call me back. I'm not holding my breath that I will get a call. I also reached out to Expedia as they recommended this company for rentals. While looking over my bill with the Expedia rep, I noticed I was also charged an extra $100 for "Liability Coverage" that I did not need or want, as Expedia sold me a liability coverage as part of their service. I reiterate, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! -- Original Review -- Do not use this service. They are not located at any airport. When picking up the counter agents all try to upsell by lying to you about tools you will encounter and then try to scare you with excessive potential charges to your credit card in the event of an accident. (I had full coverage through Expedia, and they still made me sign off that if there was an accident my credit card would be charged $60k for damages). When I called following the return and spoke to customer service and explained the counter agent told me there would be tolls, and I should pay the $12 a day extra for a Sun Pass because from Orlando to Tampa the tolls were $40 alone. I was told it was company policy to not refund anything because we signed the rental agreement. Don't waste your time and money. My $350 5 day rental ballooned to $500 because of little up sells based on lies. Just use one of the names you know, and pay what ultimately you will pay after the up charges.

Overall satisfied cuz I saved lots of money compared to other rentals. 1. There IS a shuttle bus for easirent coming from Car Rental Terminal (you take an air train there from the main Airport terminal). Come downstairs with the elevator (elevator in on the right side after you off-board the air train). The shuttle bus comes every 15 minutes. Unfortunately the company phone most of the time doesn’t reply but you can keep trying calling for questions. Good, you just saved $15 for Uber to the location. 2. Easirent location is wrong on the Google maps. It is still actually across the SIXT rentals. Stupidly they have changed it to their new location that is not opened yet (4 min walk) (idk why they don’t change it back on Google maps- don’t know how to do it?). Proximity to the airport is short but not for walking. 3. I’ve got a good new clean and not scratched car with a full tank. It’s about $40/day or less for the compact car plus tax=$90/2 days. 4. Flaws: They have workers shortage and you have to wait for extra time in line. There is this silly paper list where you have to put your name in order of arrival. But when one person skipped me and went ahead the manager didn’t say much even when I said what happened (I wanted for a few minutes longer). Basically workers here don’t talk much so just don’t come to the counter until they call you. Also, they didn’t find my reservation via Priceline. So they created a new one that was a few dollars higher but also let me return a car with 3/4 tank full where overall I saved more than initially. It was a good act of a manager. To sum up, you are here to save - so be patient. Don’t book via Priceline to avoid confusion (system crushes). Take photos of the car and of the paper rental slip. This is a review for the old (current) location. I wish this company will serve everyone better in future with changes.

I arrived from the airport to pick up a vehicle that was rented months in advance. The older man who “helped” is at the counter was extremely rude and condescending. He questioned us as if we were being interrogated, was not accommodating or friendly. We were pressured into purchasing insurance even though we already have it. The man at the counter did not explain anything to us and just snapped at us whenever we questioned anything. Our vehicle has bald tires, one of the is going flat. The car is pulling to the right and the interior was found to be filthy and not clean. The car smelled like cigarettes and urine. This has been a very disappointing experience. It is frustrating to see how the vehicles are not Maintained properly. Our car hydroplaned and lost traction in some minor rain because the tires are bald. Go to a different rental facility. The hassle is not worth the savings. I’m sure this review will get the same copy and pasted reply that all of the other negative reviews got. UPDATE: The bald tires on our vehicle have 16 PSI in them now and are barely inflated. The representative that turned the vehicle over to us noted the tire pressure and was aware of the issue but chose to do nothing. The vehicle also was due for an oil change in March of 2023 and seemingly has not been maintained since UPDATE 2: we returned our vehicle at their request and were promised a full refund. We have not received any documentation nor have we received a refund. Everyone we call hangs up on us AND THEIR EMAIL THEY TELL YOU TO CALL IS FAKE AND NOTHING WILL GO THROUGH

If you are hoping the rental process to be an in and out as it usually is with most other rental places… it won’t. You will be here waiting for about an hour half - 2 hours. They are understaffed, a lot of people come here because who doesn’t want a lower pricing rental, I do! But next time I rather go elsewhere than have to wait 2 hours again. Also they are only open from 6am-10pm so if you have a 7am flight that doesn’t work, they don’t have a drop off key box. Oh and in those 2 hours of waiting there was about 6 people who returned because there was an issue with their vehicle, I was starting to get worried. Then every time they open their key box to give someone a rental they barely had any keys left so I’m sure there must have been some who needed to wait even longer for a car. (However due to almost running out of vehicles I got lucky and was given a Chevy Tahoe, which I was super excited about) … I had originally put in for a midsize. Now when I was called over to the counter Oha delivered great customer service. The last thing we would have needed after that long wait is to approach the counter and it get worst but he was very nice, any questions or concern he was understanding and explained. I would say I did see all the employees trying their best and keeping a smile on their face while assisting. They need more staffing, over working the good employees you currently have will cause them to leave. Which in result the renters experience would decline even more. We’ll, people, you get what you pay for. I have rented a vehicle from Easirent at the Tampa airport location (they are not actually located at TPA, however). I drove it less than 10 miles, parked it, and the next morning, the tire pressure on the right side of the car was approximately 20 psi on both tires. Immediately I attempted to call Easirent, was notified that I was the third caller, then, when my turn finally came to speak with someone, the phone rang 16 times and disconnected. This exact same thing happened four more times. I put air in both tires, and had to meet the obligations of my day so I drove the car. Parked it for three hours, and when I returned to it again, the tire pressure was down into the teens. I filled the tires again. Then, I attempted to call the Tampa location itself. I have tried to call five times, and the phone rings and rings, and eventually disconnect me. I put air again in the tire, and at this point have purchased an tire pump. Granted, things can go wrong on a car. But after what I have experienced, there is no way the car rental location did not know that this was an issue! I am pretty ticked off that they rented me a car that has flat tire issues and they had to have known it! And I’m even more upset that I can’t reach anyone. I will never ever ever rent from this company again.

I wish to share my recent disheartening experience with EasiRent, a scenario that left me not only car-less but also robbed me of time and patience. Having made a reservation online and cleared the payment, I arrived at the EasiRent counter with a hope of a smooth car pick-up process. However, what unfolded was nothing short of a logistical nightmare. Upon arriving at the designated time, I was greeted with a long waiting line which already signaled a delay. However, I decided to wait patiently, attributing the delay to a busy day. After enduring a wait of more than an hour, I finally approached the counter, only to be informed that they had no more cars available. The news hit like a bolt from the blue, especially after having made a payment in advance. The lack of a contingency plan or even a mere communication beforehand regarding the car availability issue reflects poorly on EasiRent’s customer service and operational efficiency. I was left stranded, with no alternative arrangements offered by the company. This experience not only disrupted my day but also instilled a sense of unreliability towards EasiRent. It is also outside the airport so you miss the chance to going to another rental . Unless you pay Uber to go back and waste more time

Total scam company from the 800 number all the way to its on site staff they all must be on crack cause none of the staff on 800 number is American or capable of doing their job by answering the phone and. Not hanging up and actually knowing how to their job 1 month ago I went to this car rental agency rented a car for only 3 days since I'm a local resident this guy charged me for insurance and I already had it and unlimited miles while they give you 140 per day they told me I was gonna get a refund a month later the manager it's too stupid to help and the call center are full of over see people or high school drop outs who can't do their job I have to file a law suit against this company to have anything happen avoid this place not worth it and in the tampa location in the back the guy Gabriel is out their smoking what looks like crack just to get through his day so they have this automated message that says to write them on the website they have manage my booking they do not have that has a option I'm calling better business bureau to Report this scam company avoid this place at all cost unless you like to lose money have no car rental and have just a headache if anyone needs a car rental I can recommend others low cost and reliable

This is maybe my second time ever writing a review in my entire life. But this one has to be written. Where do I even start. Went through the reservation process. Found out after the fact I needed to prove full coverage on my insurance (granted its Saturday). Had to find my insurance company. Download the app, create an account and find all the details of my policy an hour later. They said if you can show us proof we will remove the extra insurance charges and use your personal. Fine. Did that. The charges never came off. Dropped the vehicle off and told them, hey make sure these charges are dropped. "You're good sir." My credit card still shows the charges. I must've call the Tampa office 15-20 times over the course of two weeks. Not one time did a human answer the phone. Emailed the manager. Emailed corporate. Called the main hub and spoke to two people there. ZERO help!! Even though it says on my agreement notes that I should not be charged for the additional amount. Needless to say I still can't talk to anyone that will help me. I am extremely pro business and certainly small business. This company is so terrible. Hope they go out of business, seriously. Its that bad....never seen anything like it in my life.

For starters, we waited at the airport on the shuttle to pick us up for 1 hour. We called to see when it would be there, and all we got was an automated line. We then took an Uber just to get the car we rented. Once there, we waited another 30 minutes before we were helped. At that point, we needed to provide proof of full coverage insurance that would transfer to the rental. We used a credit card that specifically states to not pay for additional insurance because we are covered with the card. This is not the case with this business. Once I provided proof, then we covered tolls. $12.99 a day unlimited or decline, and if you use 1 toll, then we were quoted $25 per day plus the cost of the toll. The guy next to us was offered $15 a day for the same. I guess they just shoot for what they can get. To add your spouse as a driver, it's another $5.99 per day when it's included with any other place I've rented with. We also did not get the car that we we booked. They get you in with a low price and then get you with the required add ons. Stick to the larger companies located in the airport. You'll be happy that you did.

We live in Tampa and work from home. We needed a 2nd car for 2 days due to some remote meetings. We wanted something inexpensive and zero hassle. We got neither. First the price advertised gets you in. Then you wait an hour for assistance. When it was our turn we had to “prove” we had insurance, our insurance card wasn’t enough. Luckily I was able to go into the State Farm app and show our coverage. Then they wanted us to pay $12.99 per day for tolls. I had that covered too, I brought in my extra Sun Pass. But no, since the cars are registered to them, the Sun Pass system won’t pick up my Sun Pass device in the window, it will still charge them… They told me this was new with the State of Florida and the Sun Pass system. Hmmmmmm ok…. Since we already waited an hour and didn’t want to get changed $25 a day for not getting the prepaid tolls, we paid the additional fees and left. The car was fine, hence the 2 stars. Don’t let the price fool you, you will pay just as much as Enterprise, Hertz, and Dollar. I feel sorry for tourists that arrive in Tampa and have to deal with this scam.

I’ll try to organize this chaos. I understand Tampa is a huge beach destination but at least attempt to clean the car between renters. There was enough sand in the car to build a castle. There was food and unknown substance all over the driver door and steering wheel. A quick little car wash and vacuuming on my dollar made the car more acceptable. The tires were literally flaking apart and needing changed probably a couple thousand miles ago. Not safe in the Florida rain. Three codes were thrown during my time with the car…one being the air bags. Mr.Employee did the pre inspection and noted one small dent…take pictures of every imperfection on the car so you have a time stamp. Huge chip in the windshield and door banged up…don’t pay for something that wasn’t your fault. So pretty much, if you are ballin on a budget for a rental car and want to live life on the edge with no air bags and almost bald tires during your vacation, or better yet…build a sand castle while stuff in traffic on I4, choose this company! Car wash right down the street if needed.

*SCAMMERS* Never experienced an unprofessional business in my life. Place was closed before its original closing time, leaving us, and several other families, standing outside with nowhere to go. Been trying to reach this company after being stranded with several other families at the airport waiting for a shuttle to arrive but that shuttle never arrived as we waited for over an hr before its closing time. Leaving us stranded once again. Many of us had to take Ubers to the company to get our cars that were already paid for in full to find the place closed leaving me and my family stranded at night. If you’re looking for a reliable rental place, this is not the one even the airport security stated that this place was horrible and they’ve been having troubles with the same problem that we experience tonight. Update: Company refused to refund us our money after this event. We never got our rental after contacting them numerous times the next day. This company is a SCAM and I will be contacting the BBB.

Unfortunate review. Booked a rental car for a wedding this past weekend 3 months in advance, fully paid for, even checked in early online...and the shuttle was not at the bus stop when I arrived at 10:30 pm on Friday. I even walked back to the rental car center to confirm that we were in the correct spot 3 times. I eventually had to then run around to different rental car companies searching for an available car until about 12:30, plot twist not many had any available. Nobody has reached out to me since, and I have tried to call and get a refund. No response yet! I'm understanding of oversights, however this was incredibly inconvenient for safety, time, and finances. Hoping to get a refund and maybe some money towards the rental car I had to book after being ghosted by Easirent. Hate leaving bad reviews, but don't want any other customers to be left stranded in the middle of the night with hundreds of dollars on their credit card they are unable to budget for :(

When we first arrived at the airport and found the shuttle location for the rental car place, we did not know how often the shuttle picked up and dropped off. I tried to call Easirent directly and it just rang and rang. The shuttle did eventually show up and it was a short drive to the rental location. Upon entering, we heard angry customers trying to rent a vehicle and it seemed like everyone was having the same issue. If you plan on renting from this company, make sure you have proof of insurance including collision and comprehensive along with your policy number. Also be prepared for a long wait. Eventually it worked out for us and we got the rental vehicle, although it was not the one we chose when we booked it initially. Moving forward, we will verify that the rental company we are using is one of the more reputable ones out there. We're pretty disappointed that Expedia did not disclose this information when we planned our trip.

Be very careful if you are a local renter. I walked in to rent a car for a couple days while mine was in the shop getting repaired. The whole ordeal was sketchy and I should have trusted my gut. Turns out, they had another local no-name company pick me up to "go get my car" from another location....under the guise that I was working with Easierent.....the guy at Easierent even gave the impression that he was "giving me a break" on the deposit.....turns out, the no-name company just charges a lower deposit. Also, the no-name company gave me a POS car that had both blinkers broken, missing window control buttons, just in bad shape. They tried to say it was them "accommodating me for such short notice". Right now, I'm paying more money than if I would have just gone to Budget or Enterprise. Had I known I was at risk of being lied to, I would have gone to a reputable company. Just beware of this location.

This by far was the worst experience ever with trying to rent a car after having a reservation weeks in advance. We had to find out where the shuttles were and then waited outside the airport for a shuttle for about 20 minutes in 98 degree weather and then waited over an hour and a half at their office in hopes of getting our car. They lost the keys and did not have the vehicle for us but did not even both to tell us after we signed in and everything. We ended up taking a shuttle back to the airport and having to rent from Enterprise which was done in 10 minutes. We wasted the first 2 hours of our trip with 3 kids sitting in the heat for this place. Do not rent here unless you truly have patience and nothing to do. We watched another family get put in a Tesla that was not working and they said it was overheating. Please be cautious if you choose to rent from this place.

So the wife got a rental over the Thanksgiving weekend and went with this company as they were the least expensive. I always say "you get what you pay for" and this rings true for this company. Because they are not a known group, you have to travel off site just to get to them. The car they give you hasn't been cleaned or sanitized in a while. The back seat of our rental had spots all over and the inside glass was foggy. Bixby turn the vehicle 1 day early and wouldn't give us a credit for the day. We did not use and not to mention that they're shuttle. Only goes to the airport and nowhere else, which made it difficult as our hotel was only 2 and a 1/2. Block the way. I definitely would not be renting from this company again. And that would not recommend it, and it would rather pay extra to have a clean and sanitized car, then to get something. Of shady quality .

This was the WORST car rental experience I have ever had! I found them to be shady and dishonest. I booked and pre-paid my rental only to arrive for pickup and be FORCED to take their additional insurance. I have been renting for 25+ years when travelling and have never experienced this. I would have walked away and gone elsewhere at the airport except that I flew in for a funeral and was super short on time. I have since returned home to find random charges billed to my CC from them. I read other reviews stating the same before I booked, but thought maybe that was on the renter. Now I know it is the mode of operation for this company. I find them to be dishonest and worth alerting others. I have called the office no less than 10 times trying to speak with someone with no luck. I wholeheartedly regret booking with them.

Headline: they took over two hours to get us in a filthy, wet van with a cracked windshield while our 5 month old sat in the 90+ degree heat. They are not at the airport as they advertise. Their shuttle pickup location is not marked. They don't answer the phone while you wait and wonder if the shuttle is coming. They didn’t have the SUV we booked so had to wait for them to give a minivan an oil change. Massively understaffed. Took forever to clean the vehicle, throwing copious trash out, and it was still filled with crumbs and M&Ms. Gave it to us with almost no gas in it. The seats are covered in stains and wet, just soaked through my pants. They were charging locals differently for mileage without having listed those terms online. Do not recommend. I’ll be requesting at least a partial refund.

Avoid this company. They were sold for 40 dollars, if they had kept their word that they would return the money they charged for an additional driver that we did not want to be added, I would probably return here with my family, but never like this. Do not trust the workers there, the worker told us nicely that his system is not working at the moment and that he would return the amount on our card. When we went there to return the vehicle we asked him about the charge not being taken off, he said no problem, I remember you, I'll take it off within a few minutes, he was waiting for us to go to the airport and of course he did not take it off. We certainly won't suffer for $40 dollars, but I will make sure to spread the word to everyone I know not to do business with them.

If I could give this company a negative I would. Well I’ll take that back, the bus driver was cool. The process for getting included them going out, couldn’t find keys so started randomly pressing panic buttons until they could identify a car that worked with each key. Then after finding a car the said wait for them to clean it. My wife asked about a discount and the front desk stated he didn’t have to get us a car, although we prepaid) but we got in at 6 vice the night before. I said oh so this is standard practice for you all on terrible service and he didn’t respond. The hassle of waiting for the the shuttle, then their processes are ancient and you can tell it’s horribly managed. Pay the extra 5 dollars it’s not worth it!

Good smooth transition on picking up the car. It was dirty inside with so much hair in it. They didn't take the time to clean it out good. It was a late model nice car but when it's dirty it kills it. The entire trip we couldn't get in touch with the company.....AT ALL! NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE! The low air pressure for both right passenger side tires loosing air. Filled it back up light goes off. I figure to call the company but never got anyone to answered even the emergency number that says if you get in an accident call.....no answer. Smooth transition turning the car back and the airport bus was on point. Just have to get someone to answer the phone.

I will NEVER use this company again. We waited forever at the airport after landing for the "white van" to pick us up (they are suppose to come every 20 minutes) and finally another rental car van that is a couple blocks from the Easirent location, drove my daughter and I to where we needed to be. Once we got there, it was just so unorganized. We waited forever. When we dropped the car off after our vacation, we were just sitting there being ignored and finally told if we were just dropping, we can just leave the keys. What a waste of our time! We did get the van back to the airport. Just remember, you get what you pay for.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME! Waited at the airport for over 40 minutes for the shuttle, there were other groups of people there and we all tried calling the location but none of us had any luck. Two different shuttles came, left, came and left again (THREE times total) while we were still waiting. We decided to cancel ours and not waste our time or give them a penny considering I saw there was a similar experience for others, and even when they finally got there, they still had difficulties getting their rental. It’s worth the extra money to get a rental from a reliable place, in a timely manner.

If I could give this place a negative review I would. We landed in Tampa and sat at the airport for 45 minutes waiting for a shuttle. When we finally got picked up, the shuttle driver blasted the heat in the 86° temps. We sat in the waiting room for another 40 minutes and then were given a car with a low tire pressure warning. They found a hole and told us they could patch the tire because they had nothing else for us. We ultimately ended up cancelling the reservation and wasting 2 hours of our life. Do yourself a favor and book with a rental company inside the airport if you’re flying in.

I wish I could give 0 stars, waited over 40 minutes for a shuttle to arrive, then once we made it to the office we were told that the car we rented was damaged, then we were offered 2 separate cars since we needed an 8 passenger SUV. We agreed to 2 cars and then we were told that our reservation was canceled because we arrived after 5pm even though the company had our flight number to be aware of any delays. Terrible customer service and you can't even contact anyone from corporate or customer service. Save yourself the hassle and do not do business with this company.

Worst car rental experience I have ever had. I had to wait 45 minutes for the shuttle to pick me up along with a large group of other angry people. Then waited hours in their lobby to get any kind of service. I'm still waiting for a rental car. I ended up missing out on a special engagement with a friend. Horrible experience. It is not worth the savings. There was not enough staff to accommodate the people waiting. Do not waste your time with this company. I am so upset with this company. I wasted hours of my precious time that I could have spent with friends instead.

Driving this beauty around Florida thank you to Sam! He was very helpful with everything, the whole thing did not take longer than 20 minutes and the only reason it took this long was because I couldn’t decide what credit card to use lol. I give it a five star because it is worthy of one. Just when booking thru a third party beware of the extra fees you have to pay once you arrive to the actual rental place which are a MUST to drive comfortably and safe (insurance and tolls). Thank you SAM for your service and commitment to inform customers!!!! You rock !!!

UPDATE: just got pulled over in this rental car flordia police say tags on this rental car expired over 6 months ago. They could seize the car and tow it leaving us stranded, however since we are a guest in this state the are letting us drive back to our hotel room! They were the cheapest BUT you need to shuttle there and so far waiting 40 m and counting to get the rental car after we checked in AND PAID.... we seriously had to wait for them to clean the car first! They put 1/4 tank gas but just left the parking lot gas light is on. I don't recommend them.

Misleading, not at the TIA, it is offsite, in a dump looking facility. The check in process is atrocious, multiple fees you're not expecting. I booked insurance online, then they asked me to take out additional insurance. Florida residents have to pay extra fees which DOUBLES the cost of the rental. GPS extra. It is not low cost. The car interior was ok condition, but filthy exterior, they did not wash it and were ok with how it looked, even after the walk around to inspect the car. People working the counter were confrontational, poor customer service.

If i could give 0 star i would! This is the worst car rental experience i ever had. These guys are nothing else but big time scammers! They scamming people to come to their location with low car rental prices and then they try to rip you off. They have limited mileage 150 miles per day only, you have to leave $500 deposit (the most by far that i ever have heard of) and they threats you like you are some sort of criminal, but only criminals are workimg at their location. Avoid this place by all cost. I gonna report them to state agencies.

When we arrived in Tampa for a quick vacation, we were initially intending to get a rental through Greenmotion. To keep it brief, avoid those folks if possible. We were told we had a mid-sized SUV waiting for us before we left. When we got there, we were told no vehicle was available, but that they had good luck to spare. Insert Michael from Easirent. After looking around, we called Easirent and they provided high quality service in a quick and convenient manner. I would highly recommend his services to anyone visiting the Tampa area!

They closed before their scheduled hours. We had a prepaid reservation and they closed before we got there. I even called a day before to confirm their hours and they state they will be open. I called the next day to confirm again before my fight and no one answered. I called for hours and no one answered the phone. When we arrived to pick up the car, we saw other families standing outside. They stated the placed had closed and they couldn’t get their cars either. Absolutely horrible situation. Will never do business with them again.

Edit: I already called and used the website and was denied any help. Classic predatory behavior on display again. Predatory behavior with insurance charges. Asked for the card for incidental charges and added CDW coverage after being explicitly told we did not want it. Called and they were unwilling to reimburse. Also, could have saved a lot of time taking an Uber to their site at 5002 West Cypress St, instead of waiting around for the shuttle. Car was nice, at least. Paid for a lesson in reading the fine print.

Oha was the representative that helped me. He was amazing! Thoroughly explained to me about insurance coverage as I’m from NYC and do not have car insurance. He provided me with a great vehicle and helped me drag my ridiculously heavy suitcase to the car. Oha went above and beyond and I really appreciate his help. Very legit car rental company. Just make sure you have primary car insurance and a secondary one (ex, from your credit card) to avoid extra insurance charge. No bullshxt hidden insurance charges that's not shown until you're about to pay and get the car like how Priceless and Routes do. Sam helped me today and upgrade my car for free. He's very professional and awesome. Updated: went back again and again. Having been helped by Joe lately. He’s also very fast, professional and courteous. Another awesome staff.

This is the worst place! I hope this comment catches the attention of the employees and i hope they can actually attend calls. I rented a car in october. Since then i have been calling for 2 weeks everyday to both the helpline and the branch and no one answers the call. My security deposit of 250$and the other refunds of 78$ are not returned yet and it has been a month. No one answers the calls to address the problem. ONLY ONE SUGGESTION STAY AWAY THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER PLACES IN TAMPA TO RENT A CAR FROM!

When I went to return the car after renting it for 48 hours, there was a tiny chip on the windshield. The rental said I could take it to a shop to try and get it fixed. I had less than an hour to get to work and they made it really inconvenient. They calculated the windshield as a loss and needing replacing, and now I’m paying over $1,500 for a new windshield that was originally supposed to be a good deal on a rental. I’ve never had this situation with a rental before. Not returning ever.

Not happy. I was charge 500 for deposit and it’s past 7 days still haven’t received my deposit back. I called the 1800 number and they said my credit company needs to release the funds but my credit company tells me that rental company is the one who needs to reverse the deposit. It also takes for ever to get in touch with someone. I’m waiting for the manger to get back to me about this issue. Honestly deposit is to high compared to other rental companies.

Unless you are okay with waiting an extensive period of time to be picked up from the airport and then get dropped off at the car rental to wait more, don't book your car rental here. They understaff and therefore service is slllooooowwww. If you are on a tight schedule or have places to be at a specific time, you should consider another agency. Excellent experience renting a car for our family holiday in Florida. Shuttle picked us up from Tampa airport direct to the rental center and we were off with our car within minutes. The service was easy and were advised what was recommended rather than pushed to buy unnecessary extras. There were plenty of child seats to choose from and the car was very new and clean. I would certainly use Easirent again. Thanks to Michael and his team!

I rented a vehicle from this car rental company and their website never mentioned anything about limited mileage. I got to the place which was a little hole in the wall. I got to the counter with a very rude representative. He supposedly explained their policy, free 150 miles and the rest I had to pay. The website never told me this. I wasted my time here. At least mention the limited free mileage on the website. It’s a complete scam.

Sam took great care of me again this week with my rental. This place does a great job and doesn’t get enough credit. It’s off the airport property but they have a shuttle that runs back and fourth pretty late. Way cheaper than renting from the airport. I showed up early for my reservation and it wasn’t a problem, didn’t have the compact that I reserved so Sam upgraded me to a full size at the same price. Really appreciate his service.

Worst experience. Charged for a car I declined and didn't rent. Waited long, was determined I was too tired to drive. Took an Uber instead. I was told I would be fully credited and they still charged me for two days of rental, toll charges and fees. Still dealing with credit card company. Their low rates aren't worth the the hassle or thievery. Plus their customer contact number drops off after being hold on hold for thirty minutes.

These guys were great! We called when we first arrived to get directions. They answered right away and were super friendly from the start. We were upgraded on the spot and given a complimentary child seat...when we couldn't figure our travel booster out. The car drove well and got us to all the places we wanted to go. They made things so easy. We give them a 10 out of 10. We would definitely use their services again.

Let me tell you about my experience with this specific car rental. I reserved an SUV online and then I went to pickup but I couldn't as it's ONLY within FLORIDA limits which it didn't say on website (Orbitz). I ended having to cancel as I needed to get to Texas for work. The lady there tried her best to help me even though nothing could be done. I would definitely next time call ANY company just to make sure.

Stay far fat away from this place. They left over 20 people stranded because they Oversold. The buss driver was so rude I had to walk to anoter car agency because they wouldn't drive us which he passed on the way and on the way I was walking he flipped me off. Under no circumstances rent a vehicle from this place , we got a car with a bald tire also cupping , tire goes flat while at a red light . They don’t answer for road side assistance. We sat for 4 hours till someone helped us . And after all that , we returned the car 4 days early and were told we wouldn’t get the remaining days taken off the bill. Great service! No wait, no line to pick up or drop off. Sam is incredible! He is professional and courteous. I was pleasantly surprised that Sam offered to upgrade my rental. Also, the shuttle driver is awesome as well! I highly recommend! From now on, I will book all of my rentals through Easirent in Tampa.... as I am doing right now for 2 upcoming trips in August and October!

They have a sign in sheet that says put your name down and wait to be called. I put my name down and sat there for about 5 min while the 3 workers didn't acknowledge me. Once one of them finally did he brought me up and the process was fairly quick. The car was super inexpensive. Keep in mind it is not at the airport on site lot and takes about an extra 10-15 min to get there.

The shuttle picked us off at the airport with no problem and on sight Sam was an enormous help! He went over everything in detail with me and helped me greatly with all the paperwork. I waited for an hour for a shuttle to come, when they're supposed to come to the pick up area every 10 minutes. Once I got to the building, the staff was fast and courteous. The car was dirty inside and out. To elaborate: the inside of the car had stains on the seat. Because of this, they gave me a free 1/2 of a tank of gas. They were very reasonably priced, though.

The wait was very long but once an agent was available, Sam sorted everything quite quickly. I booked and paid through Uber in advance but there were additional charges on my card which I saw only after leaving the office. There is a refundable security deposit but the costs for that and what was charged don’t align. I will be following up about that.

Overall I had a good experience. My only real issue is the shuttle seemed to take forever to arrive at the airport and when we arrived at the location there were only 2 people working the desks but 6 people waiting to be checked in. The two employees were fast and efficiency however. The car I was received was better than expected and clean.

We rented online and when we went to get the car they said that it could only be used locally and would be charged fees plus mileage and the car was also filthy. Seats and doors were sticky and that those pics were just in the back. Never go here. We had no choice but to take the car and pay an over priced fee.
